Someone By My Side (sequel to My Life With Green Day), chapter 1

"Billie? Where are you," I called, looking for him among the many rows of tuxedos that filled the store. "Billie?" I looked around, hoping to see his hair sticking up from one of the rows. I backed up, bumping into a young man.

"Watch it," He growled angrily

"Oh excuse me," I apologized quickly.

"Yeah you better be fag," he shot at me. I glanced up, trying to see the man's face and maybe figure out why he was being such a dick.

"Up yours fucker," I muttered.

"What the fuck is your problem," He asked me bitterly. 'Where have I heard those words before,' I thought.

"You're my fucking problem," I countered. His eyes were gleaming wildly and that all I could see; his face was completely shadowed over, except for those eerie eyes. "Billie, where are you," I called nervously. The man was really creeping me out. I backed away slowly then walked away.

"Here's lookin' at you bitch," the man shouted. I whirled around to see him running after me, holding a bat above his head. I tried to scream again for Billie but no sound came out. I tried to run away but I was petrified with fear. Suddenly he swung his bat...

"Billie," I screamed. I sat up in the bed I was sleeping in. I started crying.

"What is it," Billie cooed softly in my ear. He saw my tears and instantly knew. "The dream again," he asked.

"Yes," I whispered as I nodded sorrowfully. He put his arm around my shoulder and laid my head on his chest. I wiped away at my tears, still sobbing silently.

"Shhh... it's okay. I'm right here," Billie whispered soothingly.

"I saw the man again," I muttered under my breath. "It's pretty much the same as always," I admitted, deeply saddened by the dream again. "And the bat was still there." 'I'm so fucked sometimes,' I thought.

"Well... is there anything else? Or did stop in the same part again," Billie asked sadly.

"When did you become Oprah," I asked. He swatted my head lovingly. I giggled pitifully.

"First off, don't diss Oprah. That bitch is richer then anyone will ever be and she is the talk show queen. Second, I was just trying to help," Billie defended.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to diss Oprah. I didn't mean to snap at you. But no, I was still looking for you in the store and I bumped into him," I sighed, knowing Billie knew the whole story about my twisted dream.

"I accept your apology," Billie said, laughing to himself lightly.

"His voice sounded so familiar," I said suddenly. "So did his eyes." Billie's green eyes lit up and he smiled a bit.

"Really? What color were his eyes," Billie asked curiously. I looked at him, cocking my head to the side.

"They were," I started out, trying to remember the dream I would rather forget. I shut my eyes, trying to picture the man again. I opened them to see Billie staring at me intently.

"Well," he pressured.

"Billie, his eyes were green! It's you in the dream!"
