Life of Fame and Love, chapter 2
It had been an hour now, Mike came running through the door as Tre came panting in after him, they saw Adrienne and Billie cuddled up on the couch "err Billie? I know you must be really happy with Adie right now, but rob said we have enough songs to get this album made in a month," Mike panted trying to get his breath back, Billie turned to him "so what would we have to do in a couple of months?" he asked still keeping Adrienne close to him, Tre stepped in "he needs you to sing the songs, the cover needs doing and we need an album name," Billie looked at Adrienne, she nodded and her smile widened "well that's two pieces of good news in one day," Billie chuckled "oh guys me and Adie are getting married," They both looked at him gob smacked "that is fucking awesome dude, its gonna have to be done soon though, we'll have an album out soon, then we'll be on tour," explained Mike, Tre had a huge smile on his face, " Omigod! I love weddings!" he squealed like a hyper 5yr old, Billie kissed Adrienne's lips "I love you," she ran her hands through his hair "I know you do, and I love you more than anything,".
It had been two weeks, the day of Billie Joe and Adrienne's wedding was here, they were both so nervous that they had to drink a pint of beer to calm the nerves.
The rings had been swapped and Adrienne and Billie Joe Armstrong were now a happily married couple, they both went to the hotel round the corner from their house and spent there honeymoon loving each others presence.
Green Day's album Dookie was ready to hit the shelves, 'Longview' and 'basket case' was coming on MTV and many music channels, they came out as singles and Dookie came out at the same time as 'basket case'
It was two days before Green Day were to go on tour and Adrienne and Billie were sat down watching TV "Billie?" she questioned as she played with his freshly dyed blonde hair, he yawned "hmm?" he replied while stretching up and resting his arm around her shoulder, she shuffled closer to him "I found something out today,"
He pulled her onto his knee "and what did you find out?" she stayed silent for a couple a seconds but she still wore her 'I know something you don't know look' on her face "I'm pregnant," she suddenly blurted out, he looked at her with a shocked but happy expression on his face "I love you more than anything Mrs. Armstrong," and he began kissing her pregnant stomach as she giggled.
It was night time now, Adrienne was asleep up in the bedroom and Billie was sat down on the couch waiting for Mike and Tre to arrive, there was a knock at the door, he got up and opened up the door to see his band mates looking really happy "I've got something to tell you!" Mike and Billie Joe both said rather excitedly at the same time, Mike laughed "well you go ahead what's the good news?" Billie had a huge smile on his face "well Adie's pregnant," he said coolly and excitedly, Tre wrapped his arms around Billie "awe wow!" he exclaimed, Mike laughed happily "well we've got more good news for you buddy, were number 1 with basket case and Dookie, 11million or more copies have been sold," they all ran into a group hug and Mike poured beer all over the top of their heads, the three of them jumped around like hypoactive monkeys "Oh yeah! We rule ya bastards!" Billie Joe yelled happily.
It was early morning; Billie Joe, Mike and Tre had an interview with metal hammer. "C'mon Billie!" whined Mike, he was afraid of being late, Billie quickly sped upstairs "Hang on, I'm just gonna say bye to Adie," he called to them.
They made their way to kerrang, they arrived and finished the interview, next on the list was performing at TRL.
