A Berkeley Story, chapter 2
The plane lands and you scurry off into the inside of the airport. You say, "I am not going to blink until we get to the school."
"Oh god, why now?" Erica asked.
"Because!" you yelled, "I might see Tre, Billie, or Mike!!!"
"Oh my, are you so obsessed." Tara said.
"Yes, but I like the term 'deep passion for Green Day'" Your friends just laughed and walked away.
"Ow." you said randomly in the taxi which was taking you from the airport to University Village, which is where 'West Berekly Boarding School' is located in.
"What?" asked Kelly.
"My eyes hurt."
"Well maybe if you blinked, they wouldn't," Sheila said. Everyone laughed.
"No! I blinked!"
"Oh my god, would you just shut up?" Kayla asked.
"umm... no." you said. Everyone laughed some more. Then Tara brought up a good point.
"What if we don't get in the same dorm rooms?" Then Erica added,
"Or, even worse... what if we're not even in the same dorm, and we don't see eachother all day?"
"We'll be in the same dorm." You said.
"And how do you know this?" Kelly asked.
"I actually read the book that we had to give our parents. It said; 'students coming from the same school will be housed in the same dorm house." Everyone said 'oooh' and seemed like they understood.
"So, does that mean we're gonna be in the same dorm as the guys?" Tara asked, hopeful. You laughed,
"Yes Tara, but they get one side of the corridor and we get the other; the school is shaped like this (drawing a square with a smaller square in the middle) so that every room has natural light. And the square in the middle is a courtyard that you can go out into. Let's just hope we get the side that faces the beach!! That side is called the 'Ruby Wing' cause of the color that the sunset gives off into those rooms. And, the even better part about it is that there's a balcony with these things that go on the outside walls; which are easy to climb down."
"Okay Andrea stop talking!!" Kelly said.
"Fine, I just thought you guys would like to know."
"We will when we get there" You all laughed, again. You turned your head slightly when the taxi came to a red light. Out of the glimpse of your eye, you saw someone that you thought looked familiar to you, and he looked through your open window, at you.
"Oh my god! I think I see it!" Tara yelled. This knocked you out of your little trance.
"Oh god, why now?" Erica asked.
