A Berkeley Story, chapter 20
"Hey I'm gonna go with Kayla," Cole said. "Alright whatever," said Joey, not really caring. It ended up being just you and him cause everyone else left off in two's. "Okay wel..." he started. "Let's go to Hot Topic." "Okay that's like my favorite store. You like it?" he asked. "Hell yes! Practically my whole wardrobe comes from there haha." "So where'd you get that sexi bikini that I first saw you in?" he asked with a Tre- grin on his face. "Oh haha, that was from American Eagle." "Aahh so see you're entire wardrobe isn't from HT haha."
Anyways, you got up to Hot Topic and started looking around at random stuff. "Andrea, this would look so hot on you." he said pointing to a black and neon blue cadet tanktop. "Aw that is so pretty." You picked it picked it up and went to the fitting room, obviously to try it on. {Note to you: in this story... Me and ALL of my friends are hot.. So there ya go} You came out a few minutes later with it on.
"Joey?" He came out from one o fthe isles and looked at you. "Perfect." is all he said and then came over to kiss you. "Mmmm, it's that good huh?" "Hell yes." "Aww.. You-" you started and kissed him again "-what do you have behind your back?" "Oh nothing..." He started backing up. "No no no. What do you have?" You said laughing. "Nothin. Just.. Nothing." he said once more. He backed up some more. "... You do know that you have to take that off right? Haha." "Grrr yes... Joseph you frustrate me soooo much!" you yelled and ran up to kiss him. "I know I do... Don't you just love it?" You sighed, "... Yes!" before turning back to the fitting room to change back into your clothes.
You came out to find Joey just finishing buying something, and now with a bag. "What'dya buy?" you asked innocently. "Oh.. Just a present for... For my dad." "Uh huh... His birthday coming up soon?" "Uh yea... Next week." "Uh huh... Next week's Februrary?" Joey put that 'damn she's good' look on his face. "Alright you don't have to tell me then... Just don't lie about this stupid stuff haha." you said. "Okay I'm sorry," he said and kissed you.
You picked up a couple more things to get that you thought you just couldn't live without; a new studded belt, a little red spiked nosering {yes, she has a nose ring }, a few posters for your dorm room since you hadn't decorated much yet, and a few patches and sitckers to also decorated with.
Joey came up to you as you were paying with a CD. "Hey, ever heard of them?" he asked. It was the Network's CD 'Money Money 2020'. "Oh yea I love them." "Me too... I hate how everyone thinks my dad, Mike, and Tre are in it though." "They're not?!" you were shocked. "Did you think they were?" "Yes! Oh my God I can't believe they're not." "Well... Maybe there's something he's not telling us haha." "Joey...?" He smiled and turned away to go put the CD back but, "Hey, gimme that I want it haha," you said. "Okay," he laughed.
You threw it on the pile of stuff that you were buying. You finally finished paying and left. You started walking along, looking to see if there was any other stores you wanted to go to. You decided that your friends were all probably in American Eagle, so you and Joey headed in that direction. While you were going, you thought you saw some familiar. {Yes, someone familiar... Again} You got closer to the person then realized... "Oh my God! JOSH?!"
