A Berkeley Story, chapter 3
You pulled up on University Avenue, and drove for about 1/10 of a mile passed route 580. You arrived at the school which turned out to be surrounded on two sides by the ocean & beautiful beaches. The six of you ran out of the taxi & grabbed your bags. You read a sign that said 'all new students please go to the office for your assigned dormotories' and you made your way there. You and your friends opened the door and went to the table that had your information. Everyone picked up their envelopes then followed one another to the court yard. You all sat down and opened the envelopes.
"Okay, I have Ruby Wing and dorm number 17," you said.
"Me too!" You heard Kelly and Tara say.
"Well that's not fair," Erica complained. "I have Ruby Wing but dorm number 15. And isn't that down the hall, cause 17 is on the corner."
"That's okay I have that room too!!!" Kayla yelled.
"Sheila what room do you have?" Tara asked.
"What? Oh. Where do you see the room number?" Sheila asked, lost. {of course she's lost... this is Sheila we're talking about!!!}
"Right there you moron," Erica said. "Oh... oh!!! I have 15!! Yay!!" yelled Sheila.
"Well at least we're not alone," You said.
"Alright whatever. Let's go find our rooms cause I don't feel like carrying this stuff around any longer," Erica complained... again.
"Okay," Everyone said.
You went up the outer stairs and found a door with the number 22 on it, and the one next to it said 20.
"See, we should be right next to eachother," You said.
"Maybe," Erica said.
"Erica, quit complaining... we are like thousands of miles away from that shit town we came from... you should be SO happy.... like me!!" You said excitedly.
"Let's just find our damn rooms!" Tara yelled.
You went down the hall a little bit until you came to the corner of the building.
"There's 17.... and there's 15... woa, cool, we're beside eachother in a corner-type thing," Kelly said.
"Yea, how bout that Kel?!" Kayla said. Everyone laughed and reached in their envelopes for their keys. Kelly and Erica opened the two doors and stood back. Everyone looked inside with aw. Then you all ran in.
