A Berkeley Story, chapter 4
"This is SO cool," somebody said.
"Oh my god look! There's an archway that connects the rooms! That's cool. Now we just pull back this little door, and it's like one big room!" Kelly shouted.
"Yea, and when we get annoyed with Erica, we just shut it & lock it!" You said, joking.
"Oh, so what? The California air makes you mean? Now I'm gonna go cry!" Erica said, "Haha, no." Everyone laughed.
"Hey look, our balcony is connected," Tara said.
Everyone went out on the balcony and looked at the ocean. "Yay! Ocean front!" Kayla yelled.
"No, Kayla... That's actually just a big swimming pool," Sheila said. "Oh! Okay!" Kayla said.
"Yea, you would believe that," Erica laughed.
"Well I can see that your dorm is gonna be a happy one," you said. Laughter.
{Note: every time they are supposed to laugh, I'm just gonna write Laughter. }
You stayed out on the balcony as your friends went back to explore each other's dorms. You looked down at the boardwalk. You thought you saw some one familiar looking and asked Kelly to come out.
"Doesn't he look familiar? Like, you just know him for some reason?" You asked.
"Who?" Kelly asked.
"That kid right there. See him? In the black shirt... He has black hair. Doesn't he look familiar?"
"No, not really."
"He does to me."
"Okay, I think that flight took a tole on you." Laughter.
Kelly went back in, but you stayed, looking at the boy.
'Who does he remind me of? ' you asked yourself. He turned around from where he was standing, so he was facing you. You felt his eyes on you. You stopped staring and went inside.
"Who wants to go down to the beach?!?" You asked very loudly.
"ME!" Everyone yelled back.
