A Berkeley Story, chapter 6
It was 6:45 when you got done eating. You went to your dorm room and changed into your party clothes. You all looked hot.
At 7 exactly, you started out of the room, and down the hall. You knocked on the door and Joey answered.
"Hey." you said.
"Hey glad you all could come." Joey said.
You gave him a quick, friendly hug. You walked in his dorm. You pointed to a poster that you really liked; it was Green Day, and you said, "Nice poster."
"You like Green Day?" Joey asked. You started, "Ye-" "She's obsessed with them," Erica cut in.
"Yea, basically."
"That's cool. I really like them too."
"Yay Andrea, someone finally understands you! Now, just get him to take you away!" Erica said.
You looked at her with your eyes squinted and a smirk on your face. "Yea, Joey, that'd be fine so then I wouldn't have to see Erica anymore." Laughter!
"So, I'm gonna guess, your name is Erica, right?" Joey asked. "Yea I think so at least." Laughter! {Yes, get used to it... My friends laugh ALOT} "No, actually Joey we're bestest friends!" you said.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Erica asked. MORE LAUGHTER!
"No, Joey, sadly this idiot is my friend," Erica said. "Gee, thanks Erica." "You're welcome!"
"Okay... So anyway, Andrea, where's the rest of your friends?" Joey asked. "Ah, all around probably. Here, I'll introduce you to them all."
"Okay." You led Joey across the room to where Kayla and Kelly were. "This is Kayla. This is Kelly. Guys, this is Joey." They exchanged 'hellos'.
You walked over to Tara and Sheila, and introduced them the same way, except for Tara, who had to say, "Oh, so you're the guy Andrea is in love with- I mean met." She put on a huge smile and said 'kidding. ' Then Joey asked you, "So, are all of your friends that mean to you?"
"No, we do that to eachother all the time... We know better than to believe it though."
"Oh, okay." And guess what! LAUGHTER!
Just then, you heard the song change from Fall Out Boy's "Dance, Dance" to "Whatsername" by Green Day. You screamed, "I love this song!" and smiled widley. Joey said, "Me too."
You danced with Joey. Then, after a few more songs, Joey asked you, "Hey, wanna go down to the beach? It's really nice out now."
It was 8:30 and you noticed that the sunset had started. "Sure," you said. You whispered to Sheila that you would be back in a little bit. You walked to the beach together. You felt that something was going to happen...
