Scattered, chapter 24
Month later
"I knew you'd be back sooner or later Dawna."
"Shut up." Dawna kissed Matt.
"Why are you back for anyways?" Matt moved away from Dawna.
"Billie's never home, he's always working."
"So he won't even gonna even know you're gone?"
"Nope..."
"So does that mean we're back together with me?"
"I guess, on the side."
"On the side, while I have missed you a lot. I guess I'll be fine with that." Matt kissed Dawna back.
It'd had been a month and a couple weeks, and Dawna had felt like Billie hadn't been paying much attention to her, while him, Tre, and Mike were trying to get there new cd Insomniac out.
Mike, Billie, and Tre
"So everything's done right?"
"Yah just needs to be released."
After the cd went out it didn't go over well with many people but they still decided they should go on a tour.
"So Dawna do wanna come with us this time?"
"Ah, no I think I am getting sick or something. But if I wasn't I would come."
"I could fly you down when you feel better."
"No don't worry about me; I'll be waiting here for you wanting to know everything that's happened."
"Ok whatever." Billie left with out Dawna, but this time he was not as mad as the first time she did not want to go. Billie had learnt that that there was no point of focusing her into anything cause then all she would do is complain.
As the tour went on Dawna and Matt became closer, soon Dawna had Matt coming to Billie's, and having him stay there for a day or two.
Weeks passed and so did months Billie called every now and then to see how Dawna was doing but she did not say much.
Phone with Billie and Dawna
"Are you ok?" Billie asked Dawna who sounded upset.
"Oh ya I'm fine I just woke up, but I have to go now."
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Nothin Billie."
"Ok fine while we'll be home soon, love you, bye."
"Yah bye."
"Love you, bye." Dawna ignored the fact the Billie had said I loved you again.
"I can't wait to see you bye." Dawna hung up the phone.
Billie hung up the phone and back stage to where Tre and Mike were.
"Why the look?"
"What?" Billie asked Tre.
"You look mad."
"I'm fine don't worry about it."
"While good cause the opening band is done and we have to get out there."
"Alright." Billie picked up his guitar, while Mike and Tre got hugs from Krystal and Ellie.
"Don't worry about it. You'll do fine." Ellie hugged Billie.
"Yah just have some fun before you have to go back to your nagging girlfriend." Krystal joked after giving him a hug.
"Yah." Billie grinned and walked out on stage.
After the show, everyone went to their hotel rooms and the morning they were on there way again.
Soon after the tour ended, everyone was ready to go home and take a rest.
Dawna and Matt
"I think I should be heading home."
"Why?"
"While don't you think Billie should be getting back soon?"
"No he'd call to tell me."
"Are you sure."
"Yes now shut up and kiss me."
On The Tour Bus
"Are you happy that you get to see Dawna soon?" Ellie asked.
"In fact yes I miss her bitching," Billie joked.
"While were coming up on your house," Mike said to Billie.
About a half an hour later Billie was dropped off in his parking lot.
"I'll call you later," Tre yelled out the window.
"All right. Bye." Billie waved as the bus pulled away.
Dawna and Matt
"Did you hear that?" Matt looked around.
"Hear what?"
"Someone's outside."
"Oh no ones outside, calm down." Dawna kissed Matt again.
"No really I think its Billie."
"I told you he wouldn't come home with out calling first, so don't worry about it."
"Fine whatever." Matt kissed Dawna back.
While Billie walked up to the door, he had seen that the blinds were closed and that it seemed pretty quite. Billie walked into the house putting everything down and walking into the living room to find something to his surprise.
"What the hell is goin on here?" Billie turned on the living room light.
"Billie?" Dawna got off Matt in a hurry.
"Yah, it's me, who is he?"
"Oh him? Have you met my brother...Bob," Dawna said the first name that popped into her head. Matt just sat there and shook his head in disbelief of what Dawna had just said.
"Your brother, he's your brother."
"Ya..."
"Dawna don't even try that one you were just making out with this guy, and Bob, I'm sure you could have at less could have though of a better name."
"Ok, his name isn't Bob, and he's not my brother. But this does look bad doesn't it?"
"Sure does."
"But I can explain."
"Sure, sure you can Dawna."
"I can!"
"I don't wanna hear it, you can leave anytime now with this guy here. Who can stop looking at me any time?!"
"Matt stop." Dawna hissed at him.
"Oh, Matt. While, I'm guessing you the Matt that's she's always complaining about. What's your last name Matt?"
"Crank, why?"
"Oh just wanted to know. So it's Matt Crank?"
"Yah just like yours is Billie Joe Armstrong," Dawna said before Matt could respond.
"Yah, that's right Dawna." Billie still looked at her with disbelief.
"So, I'm guessing you want me to leave." Dawna looked at Billie.
"You guess. I just told you to leave, oh and also please stay out of my life, don't try and come back cause now I know everything you say is bullshit and you don't mean anything you say."
"But I do Billie I really do."
"Like what?"
"Like, I really do love you."
"Sure as hell shows, doesn't it?" Billie looked over at Matt.
"But, Billie." Dawna went to hug Billie.
"Dawna please just leave."
"Fine, come on Matt." Matt got up and followed Dawna out of the house.
"Sorry about this."
"Oh don't worry about it; I hope you have fun with her bitching."
"Billie Joe you haven't seen or hared the last of me."
"Yah whatever?" Billie slammed the door.
