Whatsername, chapter 5
Hand in hand we walked behind my sister and her boyfriend. His hand was warm, and I felt perfectly comfortable with mine in his. I usually didn't like to date, I didn't trust guys at all...not since my last failed relationship. He abused me, tried to control me...threatened to get me again someday...but I refuse to think about it at such a time. I knew with all my heart that Billie Joe was different...
I smiled contently to myself and Billie Joe looked over at me. He smiled as well and squeezed my hand.I blushed lightly.
"Guys hurry!" Alex shouted over her shoulder to us, I hadn't realized how far behind we had gotten. We rushed over, still hand in hand, and went inside the restaurant. I felt slightly guilty, it was pretty fancy. I wondered how Alex could afford this, and why she hadn't told me to dress nicer for this.
"Reservations under the name 'Armstrong' please." Alex said to the person.
I gasped and looked at Billie Joe. He looked back.
"I wanted it to be a perfect event, if I was lucky enough to have someone great, y'know...and I did."
"Aww...thanks. ou're awesome as well." I replied and we were directed to a table for four. Alex and I sat next to eachother, Billie Joe opposite me, Eric opposite Alex. I looked at the menu and noticed how expensive everything was.
"Don't worry about how much the food is. I have quite a bit of money, I can afford it." Billie Joe said to me. After we all ordered, we had some small talk.
When the food came, I tried my best to eat nicely. It was hard for me, I could be a real pig at times, but I somehow succeeded.

After dinner we all headed to the car, thanking Billie Joe and saying how stuffed we were and how good the food was. I hugged Billie Joe as he put his arm around me and we walked to the car. We sat back where we were before. Billie Joe took my hand in his and I leaned against him. [san-chan: screw seat belts!! I might want to rephrase that, huh?] We arrived to his house to drop him off and I offered to walk with him to the door.
When we got up there, I hugged him. He smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back.
"That was fun, we should do that again sometime, but just us." He said.
"Yeah...here's my number..." I scribbled my number onto a piece of paper I conveniently had with me. "See ya later."
He grabbed my arm as I was about to walk away and we stood for a few moments just gazing into eachothers eyes. His green eyes drew me in. H epulled me in and placed his soft lips gently onto mine and we kissed. We broke apart and I looked back up to his eyes, never wanting to go.
"G'night Billie Joe and see ya later." I said.
"Yeah...see ya..." He said and went inside. I squeeled and skipped back to the car. I hadn't been this happy in so long. When I slid into the back seat, Alex turned around to look at me.
"Why're you so worked up?" She asked me.
"Oh...it's nothing, nothing." I lied and stared out the window dreamily. She pulled out of the front of Billie Joe's house and we drove off.
