I Wish I Could Tell You..., chapter 3
Billie Joe put on a t-shirt because he was still only in his boxers. Then he went downstairs to wait for Tre, who rang the doorbell a few minutes later. Billie Joe opened the door for Tre, and he came inside. "Billie, come here," Tre said as he opened his arms to hug Billie. Billie returned the hug and cried on Tre's shoulder. "So what is it Billie?" asked Tre.
"C'mon, I'll tell you upstairs," said Billie, motioning for Tre to follow him. Billie and Tre went up to Billie's room and sat on his bed. Billie sighed before saying, "Jessica broke up with me a while ago," Billie said quitely.
"Oh Billie, I'm so sorry. You guys were together for so long!" said Tre. "What happened?" he asked.
"I told her I had sex with you," Billie said.
"Billie! You idiot! Why'd you tell her?? She would have never found out about us!" Tre yelled.
"Tre, I couldn't live with the guilt! I couldn't stand lying to her, 'cause I love her so much!" Billie said. "I still do," he added.
Tre sighed. "I'm sorry Billie, I think you did the right thing man," Tre said.
"Thanks," said Billie.
"So how did you tell her?" asked Tre.
"Well, I yelled your name while we were...you know...and I just ended up telling her," Billie answered.
"You said MY name?" asked Tre.
"Well, yeah. After what we did yesterday," said Billie. "I'm gonna take a shower," Billie mumbled, obviously upset.
"Can I come in with you...?" asked Tre.
"Tre, this is all your fault," Billie said suddenly. "If you didn't always suggest sex every time I'm with you, me and Jess would still be together!" Billie yelled.
"Oh, okay Billie, I get it. This is MY fault now?!" said Tre defensively. "It's not like I forced you to, you had a choice Billie!" said Tre.
"Whatever Tre," Billie said as he stood up. Billie got a towel and went into the bathroom to take a shower. When Billie came back into the room with a towel around his waist, Tre was laying on his back on the bed. Billie got dressed, and layed down beside Tre. "Tre, sorry about earlier. I didn't mean that. This isn't your fault at all," said Billie.
"It's okay, I know you're upset about Jessica and everything," said Tre.
Billie put his arm around Tre, and rested his head on his chest. He stared into Tre's big, bright blue eyes. "You're beautiful, you know that Tre?" Billie said. Billie leaned in and kissed Tre on the cheek.
"Mmm, you smell like soap Billie," said Tre as he put his nose to Billie's wet hair. Billie looked at Tre and laughed. "And you have a sexy laugh, too," Tre added.
"Well, thanks. You have sexy eyes," Billie said.
"Thank you," Tre said as he smiled at Billie. Tre climbed on top of Billie and kissed his neck. Then he began to unbutton Billie's shirt.
"Tre, get the fuck off me. I'm not in a good mood right now," Billie snapped.
"Woah, talk about mood swing," Tre said as he rolled onto his back again.
"I'm just tired, that's all," said Billie.
"Can I turn off the light?" asked Tre.
"Yeah, go ahead," Billie said.
As Tre layed there, staring into the dark, he heard Billie Joe crying into his pillow. Tre turned on the light back on and sat up. "What's bothering you?" asked Tre. Billie sat up beside. Tre wiped the tears off of Billie's face. "What's wrong BJ?" Tre asked.
"Oh Tre, I just love Jessica so much still! I can't believe she's gone," Billie said.
"Billie, why don't you just forget about her?" Tre asked.
"I can't forget about her Tre! I love her!" Billie answered. Tre paused.
"But you love me too...right?"
