"Go ahead, what is it Billie?" asked Tre.
"Well, I think we should stop seeing eachother in a sexual way." Billie said.
Tre stared at Billie Joe blankly for a moment before asking, "Why?"
"It's not you Tre, really. It's me. And I wanna find a girl and start dating again." Billie answered.
"I-I understand, Billie." Tre stuttered.
"Tre, I'm sorry if I hurt you. I really am." Billie said.
"It's fine Billie, I get it. I understand." said Tre.
Billie sighed.
"Remember last night when I told you that no matter what, I'll always love you?" asked Tre.
"Yeah, I remember." Billie answered, smiling.
"Good." said Tre.
"I feel like getting wasted. Let's have a house party here. My parents don't get back 'til tomorrow night." Billie suggested.
"Billie, who's gonna come to a party hosted by fags?" Tre joked.
"Tre, shut up. You're not making things any better. And we're not gay, we're bi-sexual." Billie said.
"Billie." Tre said.
"What?" Billie answered.
"I'm not bi." said Tre.
"Then what the fuck are you Tre?" asked Billie.
"I-I'm gay. I only like guys. That's why every time I date a girl, I always end up breaking up with her when things start to get serious. I just date girls to fit in, Billie" Tre explained.
Billie looked at his friend in disbelief. "And you didn't even fucking tell me? Why didn't you tell me earlier, Tre? I don't see you any different now than before you told me." said Billie.
"I guess I was just scared, Billie." said Tre.
"Aw Tre, c'm here." Billie said as he hugged Tre.
"Billie, why can't we be together?" asked Tre.
"Tre, I already told you, I wanna date girls now, alright?" Billie replied.
"But Billie, you're the only guy that I've loved this much. You understand me, Billie. There's no one else in the world like you. And what if I never find anyone else?" Tre said.
"Tre, you will find someone, trust me, you will." Billie said in a comforting voice.
"There's no gay people around here, at least that I know of." Tre said.
"You never know, Mike could be gay." Billie joked.
"No, Mike's as straight as you can get." said Tre.
"Yeah, you're right. Bad example." said Billie.
"Anyway, I could never love Mike like I love you, Billie." Tre said.
"Tre, I'm bi." Billie said.
"Um... I know." Tre said.
"I know you know." Billie said.
"So..your point is...?" Tre asked.
"My point is, that I can't keep switching between dating guys and girls anymore. I've gotta choose one. And I chose girls. And that means we can't see eachother in a sexual way anymore. We can just be friends, like we used to be." Billie said.
"Billie, you're bi." Tre said.
"Yeah, I'm bi..." Billie said confusedly.
"That's the whole fucking point! You're bi! You like guys and girls, so what's the point dating only girls when you can date Tre Cool too?!" Tre said frustratedly.
"Tre, I'm so confused right now." Billie sighed.
"Think about it, Billie. If you're bi-sexual, and you like guys and girls, why only date girls? It just doesn't make any sense. Absolutely zippo." said Tre.

"Billie Joe, do you love me?" Tre asked.
"Of course I love you Tre. Didn't I tell you that this morning?" Billie asked.
"Yeah, I just wanted to hear you say it again." Tre said with a smile. Billie smiled back at his friend. Then Tre leaned in and kissed Billie passionately on the lips.
"Billie, I want you so bad." Tre whispered into Billie's ear.
"No, no, no, Tre. You just don't get it do you?" Billie asked as he pulled away from Tre.
"Billie what are you talking about?" Tre asked.

Tre looked hurt.

"If you love me, then why are you so fucking eager to start dating girls?" Tre asked.
"Tre, all you ever wanna do is have sex with me." Billie said.
"Is that such a bad thing?" Tre asked.
"Well, if I'm gonna date someone, I actually want a relationship, not just sex." Billie said.
"But Billie, you know me. I'm your best friend, so obviously we have a good relationship." Tre said."
"But that's the thing, I wanna be your best friend, not your boyfriend." said Billie.
"But Billie, I thought you loved me." Tre said quietly.
"I love you as a friend, Tre." Billie said.
"You obviously don't love me, Billie." Tre said.
"Tre, c'mon! You know I do!" Billie said.
"Yeah, right. 'As a friend.' That's bull shit. You either love me, or you don't." said Tre.

"Well I'm sick of this, I'm leaving." Tre said as he got up and headed for the door.
"Tre wait!" Billie called after him. But Tre was already out the door and walking home.
