I Wish I Could Tell You..., chapter 8

"Whoa, Jess what're you doing?" Billie asked in shock. Jessica didn't say anything, but walked towards Billie Joe. Jessica stood in front of Billie and put his hands on her hips.
"Relax, Billie. You're always so tense," Jessica said.
"Jess, I-I have to go," Billie said, as he moved his hands away from Jessica's waist.
"So soon?" Jessica pouted. Billie sighed and looked up at Jessica.
"Don't do this to me, Jess," he said.
"C'mon Billie, just today," Jessica said as she started to rub Billie's shoulders.
"I wanna do this Jess, but it's wrong!" Billie said.
"But yet so right..." Jessica flirted.
"Jess, why do you love me all of a sudden?" Billie asked.
"Billie, ever since I broke up with you, nothing's been the same. Everything seems so right with you, Billie," Jessica sighed.
"But Jess, that's exactly how Tre feels about me!" Billie said frustratedly.

Jessica frowned at the mention of Tre. "You cheated on me, but Tre's too special to cheat on," Jessica sighed in a sarcastic manner, dropping her hands to her sides.
"Well... I guess we could then," Billie said, finding this as an excuse. "But just this once though. We can't make this a habit, alright?" he said. Jessica smiled, leaned in, and kissed Billie's forehead. Then she climbed on top of him. Billie let Jessica undress him, and then he fell back onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her body. Billie then rolled onto Jessica.

"You ready?" Billie asked.
"Yeah," Jessica answered. "I love you Billie Joe," she added.
"I love you too Jess," said Billie.
"Do you mean it?" Jessica asked.
"I mean it," Billie replied. Jessica smiled and then, well, you know what they did...

***
About thirty minutes later, Billie Joe was at Tre's house, watching TV like everything was okay. Tre had his arm around Billie, and was playing with his soft, thick brown hair. "Billie, what's wrong?" Tre asked.
"Nothing, why?" Billie replied.
"You seem like your body's here, but your mind isn't," Tre said. Billie just shrugged his shoulders.
"A lot to think about," he sighed.
"You know, I can tell when something's bothering you, Billie," said Tre.
"Tre, I'm fine, alright? I'm just tired. Don't worry about me, alright babe?"
"I dunno Billie, I'm not convinced. You're just so quiet. Normally it turns you on when I play with your hair," Tre smiled. Billie looked at Tre.
"Who said I wasn't turned on...?" he whispered. Tre inched his body closer to Billie Joe, and was about to kiss him, when Billie's cell phone rang.
"Fuck! What is it with your cell phone ringing when we're together?" Tre laughed.
Billie reached into his pocket and retrieved his phone.
"Hello?" Billie said into the phone.
"Hey Billie, it's Mike," said Mike.
"Mike! What's up man?" Billie asked.
"Oh nothing much," said Mike. "Where are you? I called your house, but you weren't there." he asked.
"I'm at Tre's," Billie answered.
"Oh, are you guys, well... busy?" Mike asked.

Billie laughed. "No, and even if we were, I haven't talked to you in like...forever," Billie replied.
"Yeah, I know. You're always with Tre. It's like you guys just forgot about me," Mike said.
"Aw Mike, it's not like that," said Billie.
"But we never hang out anymore, Bill," said Mike. "And there is such thing as a phone," he added sarcastically.
"I'm sorry Mike, really, I am," Billie apologized.
"Don't worry about it Billie," Mike said.
"You sure," Billie asked.
"Yeah, it's fine Billie," said Mike.
"'Kay good," said Billie.

"So what's new?" asked Mike.
"Nothing, you?" Billie answered.
"Well, I'm dating Jessica," said Mike.
"What? Jessica who?" Billie asked in shock.
"Jessica Reid, the girl you were dating for two months..." answered Mike. "You don't mind, do you?" he asked.
"No, I don't mind. Why would I mind?" Billie questioned.
"Just 'cause it might feel weird that your friend is dating your ex," said Mike.
"Well how long have you been dating her?" asked Billie.
"Since the day you broke up," Mike admitted.
"Holy shit," Billie muttered to himself.
"What?" asked Mike.
"Um, I can't believe I didn't know!" Billie said quickly.
"Oh, yeah I know," Mike said
"Well, I gotta go now Mikey, Tre needs me," Billie lied.
"Okay bye Billie," said Mike.
"Bye, see you," Billie said. Then they both hung up.

"I have to go now Tre," Billie said as he got up from his spot on the couch.
"Billie, you just got here!" said Tre.
"Sorry Tre, but my parents don't know where I am, so I have to get home," Billie lied. He really had to go home and call Jessica about the phone call he received from Mike.
"Since when do they care? And since when do you care, Billie?!" asked Tre as he flipped off the TV in anger, and stood up. "Fuck you!" Tre yelled.
"Whoa, Tre. What's with you?" Billie asked, putting his hands on Tre's shoulders.
"I dunno Billie. It's just that you just got here, and now I'm gonna miss you again. I'm sorry, I just got frustrated," Tre said quietly.
"Tre, it's fine," Billie said. Then he leaned in and kissed Tre softly on the lips.

"Do you have to go right now?" asked Tre.
"Yeah, I'm sorry," said Billie.
"Okay, I love you," said Tre.
"And I love you too. I'll see you later, okay hun?" said Billie.
"Okay, bye," said Tre, giving Billie one final kiss before he left.
"Bye Tre," said Billie. Then Billie Joe started home. When he got home, he went upstairs right away to call Jessica. As Billie clambered up the stairs, he started to think, he was so confused. Why had Jessica been so eager to sleep with me when she was already dating Mike? I just don't get it, Billie thought.
