It's Something Unpredictable...But In The End There's Right, chapter 2
*3 months later*
"Honey! I'm going to the hospital," Billie shouted.
"Okay. Be careful," Adrienne shouted back.
"Don't worry. I will." Billie closed the door, hopped into his BMW and drove in silence. "Hi, Lis! How's Tre today?" Billie asked, as he closed the door behind him. Lisea sighed.
"Still the same." After three months, Tre was still in a coma. Billie sat next to Lisea.
"Lis, you should go home and take a rest. I'll be here till six." She nodded and stood up, heading towards the door.
"Thanks Billie. You are a good friend. I'm sure Tre will be very happy," she said and forced a smile, and then she left.
Billie talked and sang to Tre, he watched the television that was in the room. Hours passed and Tre was still sleeping peacefully on the bed. "Tre, I'm going now. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye," Billie said and left.
*Back at Billie's house*
"Adie?" Billie called as he hung his coat in the closet. "I'm home."
"Oh Billie." Adrienne came running to a confused Billie, sobbing. "A guy called just now. He said that he's going to kidnap Joey." She hugged her husband tightly, crying into his shirt.
"Shh..." Billie stroked her hair gently. "Its okay, Adie. Everything's alright. It's probably a prank," he said softly, hugging his trembling wife. He pushed her apart in arms length and wiped away the tears with his long sleeve shirt. "Don't cry. Come on, let's go into the living room and you'll tell me everything, alright?"
She nodded and he guided her into the room. She sat on the leather couch as he went into the kitchen and got her a glass of water. She took it and drank the water in silence. He sat beside her and waited for her to finish. She placed the glass on the coffee table and looked at Billie. She began, "At around 5, the phone rang, so I picked it up. On the other end there was a man's voice. He said...he said...he's going to kidnap Joey. I didn't believe him at first but then he told me to open the door and there will be a package. I did as he said and there was a package. I freaked and opened it. Inside was Tre's cap and there was also a note." She pointed at the box that was lying on the floor.
Billie took the box and indeed there was Tre's baseball cap and a note. 'You're next!' Billie gasped and dropped it. "FUCK!" he cursed. He took out his cell phone and dialed Mike's number. "Hello, Mike?"
"Oh, Billie. I was going to call you," Mike said on the other end.
"Mike wait! Listen! I found a box in my house and Tre's baseball cap is inside with a threatening note and Adie received a call..." He was cut off by Mike.
"Bill, I got one too, except it was Tre's watch." Billie was shocked by the news.
"Mike are you thinking, what I'm thinking? Let's call the cops."
"No, Billie! That might even make it worse," Mike said.
"Then what do you think we should do?" Billie asked.
"Erm... I'll come over now, then we'll talk about it," Mike suggested. Billie thought for a while.
"Yeah. Okay. I'll see you then," Billie said.
"Okay, I'll come over with Anna."
"Bye." Billie clicked off his cell.
