Where Will We All Go When It's Too Late, chapter 5
... standing in the corner of the room was the cutest boy you had ever seen. He had black fluffy hair and green eyes. You immediately recognized him as Billie's son, Joey. Then standing next to him, you saw Adrienne Jakob. Kels looked completely excited and ran up to you. Before she could even speak, you asked her, "How the fuck did they get here?!"
"I know! I'm as shocked as you are! Another Green Day bus pulled up and I thought I was completely insane... But then I saw them coming down to the door, and I was like 'Oh my God! It's Adrienne and Joey and Jakob!!! What the heck?!' "
"Well... wait why was another bus?"
"BJ's family was on the first one and they could only have 3 to a bus cause they have the smaller buses... and so I guess since their bus broke down, there's no sense in having Adie and them going on to Ohio without them. So they just pulled up like 10 minutes ago when you were in your room getting ready."
"Ooooh. Well this is fucking awesome!!!!"
"Uh DUH!"
((Future refernce::: in my story, most of us are 14, Billie, Adie, Mike & Tre are their same ages, Joey is also 14, and Jakob is 12.)
You finished the conversation with Kels as you saw Billie coming over to you.
"Andrea, this is my wife Adrienne and my sons Joey and Jakob."
You exchanged your 'hellos' and noticed that some of your friends were starting to show up.
'This is sooooo fucking awesome!!!!!!!' you thought to yourself.
You and Kelsey stood by the door watching and waiting for people. When most everyone had arrived, Billie, Mike, and Tre finished setting up all their equiptment. As soon as they had it all up, Billie screamed, "Okay so what do you GDBFF guys like the most? Old or new?" The "crowd" was almost exactly split; half screamed OLD and the other half screamed NEW.
"Well then" Billie said shaking his head, "... how bout... Andrea, since this is your house, pick a song!"
"Ummm... how bout my fave song.. LETTERBOMB!"
"Alright get up here!."
"Why?!"
"Well you're gonna play too!" You ran up and plugged in your guitar to the huge amp.
"Ok hit it!" Billie said. You took the microphone and sang,
"Nobody likes you. Everyone left you. They're all out without you. Having fun." Then you struck your guitar, starting to play.
"Where have all the bastards gone?" Billie started to sing as you kept on playing.
"It's not over till you're underground," is where you picked up on the singing. Suprisingly, you and Billie sounded pretty good singing along to the chorus. Then Billie dropped out and left you sing
"Where will all the martyrs go when the virus wires itself? And where will we all go when it's too late?!" Followed then by Billie's scream. All four of you finished the song after around four minutes.
"Holy shit! Give it up for Andrea!" Everyone clapped and cheered. You stayed up beside Billie and then said, "Alright now you pick one."
"Alright fine." He said picking up his guitar and plugging it in.
"Ok guys just pick up."
He started to play and you immediately knew the song.
"Now I rest my head from such an endless dreary time. A time of hopes and happiness that had you on my mind..." You played along with him.
You picked up with the singing at the chorus; "So when are all my troubles going to end? I'm understanding now that we are only friends. Till this day I'm asking why I still think about you."
You finished the song after a while and then eventually got off the 'stage' so you could actually watch them perform. They must have played at least 40 songs... covering most of Kerplunk and Dookie, around half of Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning, and all of American Idiot. The hours went by so fast. It was around 3 when they had started playing, and was now 7. They didn't even look tired though.
"Alright, we're gonna stop for a while now," Mike said setting down his bass.
Everyone was running up to them asking for autographs, getting pictures, hugging them, and such. You and Kels weren't like most of them though, seeing as you had gotten over the shocking of hanging out with Green Day at around 2! You did get a few pictures and stuff, but you weren't being all like 'OH MY GOD!' obviously.
During the little intermission, you and Kels talked to Joey and Jakob. You showed them around your house and such.
*** Joey's Point of View ***
'Andrea seems really nice. And obviously she's real good at performing haha. She looks about my age... hmm, I should probably get to know her better... I don't know why but I just feel like I should. I love her style... it's like.. totally hot. She's really pretty too. Woa... do I like her?' I thought to myself, 'She probably doesn't like me any. She probably thinks I'm stuck up and all because of my dad. And if she was to like me... it'd probably be just because of my dad. God I wish sometimes he had never got famous...'
---- Around 10 minutes later ----
'She keeps looking at me. Hmm... maybe she does like me... Stop looking at her too! Geez sometimes I can be so stupid! .... well I just can't help it.. I have to see if she's looking at me.. ya know what? I'm just gonna go talk to her and get to know her before I keep jumping to conclusions. She most likely doesn't even like me though.'
