A Walk Down Memory Lane, chapter 1

'Fuckin alarm clock' you thought as you reach for it and throw it across the room 'Ah silence' but you decide you should wake up to get ready for another shitty day of school when you hear...
"What did the alarm clock ever do to you to get thrown across the room???" great mom again.
"It woke me up" you mumble then you realize it isn't mom because it was a man's voice, a familiar one at that, you open your eyes to see standing in your room the famous Billie Joe Armstrong!
"Billie!! What the hell are you doing back in Oakland so soon?" sitting up in your bed motioning for him to come over and sit while you rub your eyes
"Tre caught the bird flu" he chuckles" plus I wanted to see my favorite person in the world."
"Me?.....hm...I never got that memo."
"Really? Damn Tre and his bird flu I told him to mail it to you."
"Very funny."
"Well, you know I try" he winks then pounces on your bed "so girlfriend, like, what are we gonna do today?" he tries to pull off a girly voice
'You pout' "I'm not feeling so good," you lay you hand on your head dramatically, "I think I might have to miss school!"
"Oh no!" says Billie, "Not school! Please do not deprive yourself of an education!"
He follows along dramatically as your mom walks by, "I see you got her to wake up and no you will not miss school. And no you will not deprive yourself of an education now get up and get around you'll be late!"
'I hate you', screaming this at her in your mind...but only in your mind, you don't want to make another scene in front of Billie. You get dressed and you and Billie start to walk to school or so your mom thinks...
"So really why are you guys back in Oakland so soon?"
"I told you Tre caught the flu."
"Oh, well I got confused when you added bird to it" you look at him and smile.
"So I know Tre is feeling shitty cause he has the flu...but come on tell me about Mike what's up with him lately."
"Same ol' same ol' all he does lately is bitch about Tre"
I laughed, with those two it was never a dull moment.
