"Wait, I think I should check in with school and make sure they count me as there before we ditch or else they'll call mom."

You arrive and go into the office, "Sorry I'm late could I get a slip?"
"Of course Lindsey, try to be on time tomorrow okay?"
"Sure," you say as you walk out the door but then you hear...
"Is that Mr. Armstrong? Back at school!? No, never."
"Hey Mr. Mark," he replies with a worried look on his face, ever since he dropped out he's acted uncomfortable around here.
"Come to finish your education?"... That smart ass that's exactly why I hate being in his office all the time he acts like a total jerk especially the time when he-
"No I was just here with Lindsey, sorry to rain on your parade."
"Oh you didn't rain on my parade, actually I was a little glad, having you up here in my office every day was wearing me out." See? Smart ass...
"If you don't mind we need to get to class," I butted in.
"Very well, I will see you later."
I had to spend 35 minutes in class before I raised my hand. "Yes Lindsey?"
"Could I... ... uh... .use the bathroom."
"Yes you may, however take your things the bell will ring soon.
Score we were home free.
"Nice," says Billie.
"What?"
"The 'I need to go to the bathroom' thing... after all those times we used that they still fall for it."
"I know sad isn't it?" I snickered
"Very, so now that we ditched what do you want to do?"
"Don't know, what did we use to do?" I said not thinking about what we really used to do.
"Ha... .uh... make out" there was a long awkward silence which we both hate and suddenly there was absolutely nothing to talk about, so we just walked...and walked, to nowhere really, our minds were wondering, and so were we...
