Swing Set, chapter 2
"MEGHAN WAKE UP! THERE'S SOMEONE HERE FOR YOU!" Mom yelled from downstairs.
"Ugggg..." I looked at the clock. It was 2:00 pm. "Wow." I got up and quickly pulled my hair back and put on some clothes. I walked into the bathroom, washed my face, and put on some eyeliner to make me look awake. I walked downstairs and Mike was there sitting on my couch talking to my mom.
"Hey Meg."
"Yo and hello." I sounded very tired.
**Mike's Point Of View**
Meg looked pretty tired. She must have just got up." You tired?"
"Just a little bit. Thanks to you though." I laughed a little. "So what's the day plan Mikey?"
"Oh I have band practise today and I thought you might wanna see us play."
"You have a band. What do you play?"
"Bass, Billie plays guitar and does the lead vocals, and Tre's the drummer. Anyways let's go, Billie will kick my ass if I'm late again."
We got to Billie's place and sat on the couch. For once Tre was the one who was late. Billie was just playing around with Blue, and me and Meg were talking on the couch. "DID YOU ALL MISS ME!?" Tre yelled as he burst through the door.
"Yes Tre we missed you with all our hearts," Meg said sarcastically.
"I feel soo loved!" Tre sat on his drum stool.
"Are we gonna start playing or what?"
"Yeah, I'm coming," I said as I picked up my bass. We started playing. When I glanced at Meghan she looked amazed. We finish our mini concert and all sat down on the couch, well Tre was trying to sit on Billie's head.
"Get the fuck of me Tre!"
"But your head's so comfortable," Tre started to whine.
Billie shoved him off and Tre fell on his butt. We all laughed as Tre started to rub his ass and shake it in front of Billie. "You know you want it. You know you need it," Tre started to sing. After Tre had settled down a bit we started to talk about random things. After a while there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it," Billie said as he walked to the front door. He walked in with Bia. Bia sat on the table in front of the couch since there was obviously no room left on the couch.
"So Meghan you came all the way from Canada?" Bia asked her.
"Yeah," she said.
"Cool. My parent's are from there. If they didn't move I would have been born there. Which provience are you from?"
"Ontario."
"Oh, my parents came from Manitoba."
"Bia stop boring her," Billie cut in.
**Meghan's Point Of View**
"He's not boring me Billie," I said.
"Yeah whatever. So what did you think? Are we any good?"
"You guys are really good!"
"GOOD WE'RE AWESOME. I MEAN I'M THE DRUMMER!" Tre said. I think he was on some sort of hyper pill because he's been like this all day. I looked over at Bia, he looked so cute. I love curly hair. He noticed the staring and looked at me. I blushed. Mike wanted to walk me home again. He was always so nice to me. As we were walking home Mike started to talk to me.
"So really were we any good?"
"Yes, you guys were great."
"Thanks."
"What's the bands name?"
"Green Day."
"Cool."
"Yup."
We got to my house. He walked to to my door step. "Good night," he said. He leaned in and kissed me on the lips qiuckly. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that."
"It's okay Mike." I could feel I was turning red, he was too. "Good night Mike." I said then turned and walked into the house. Oh my God. He kissed me. Wow, I thought as I walked up to my room and opened the door. I was shocked to see who was standing there. "HOLY FUCK JODI! HOW DID YOU GET HERE?! OH MY GOD!" I screamed as I ran and hugged her so hard.
"Your mom thought you'd like to have a little 2 week visit from you bestest friend ever!" she said so cheery and happy.
"I can't believe your here. I'm so happy!" I said still clinging to her.
"Uh, Meg?"
"Yeah."
"You're gonna suffocate me here."
"Oh sorry," I said as I got off her.
"So fill me in. What has happened? Your mom said a boy pick you up earlier." I told her everything. "I must meet him, he sounds like your perfect match Meg."
"Yeah you can meet him tommorow, and about the perfect match thing I've only known him for 2 days Jodi."
"I know, I know." We headed off to bed, but not after talking for about 4 hours. When I first came in to see her it was nine. So about midnight we were in bed.
"MEGGIE GET YOU BUTT UP NOW. I WANT TO GO MEET MIKE!" Jodi yelled in my ear.
"Fuck can't I sleep?!"
"Not with me here. GET UP!"
"Okay I'm up! I'm up!" I quickly tooka shower and did the whole moring routine. The headed off to Mike's...
