Wicked Times, chapter 11
I sighed. I was home at last. Well not at my real home, but the closest thing to a home I had, Tre's house. I was lying on a black leather couch while I was flipping through channels on the TV. Isn't it strange that you get hundreds of channels on TV, but nothing is ever on? Tre came through the door. I keep flipping through channels until he said, "we need to talk." I looked at his glass blue eyes. He had that same look he did the night the band wanted to talk to me. I asked,
"Talk about what?" Tre looked at me and said,
"I need to know that your going to tell the truth." I pleaded,
"Tre I'd never lie to you."
"You lied before. You lied to the whole band."
I looked out the window and looked back at Tre's face. I said, "Tre I just... I had to get away from home. The chaos..." Tre cut me off before I said anything more.
"Alexis, I don't want to know about your past. I want to know what this band means to you." I looked into Tre's blue eyes and said,
"This band, Green Day means more to me than words can say. It's all I have left Tre." I promised myself when this time came I wouldn't cry. I let a tear slip down my face. Tre hugged me and keep assuring me everything would be ok.

I still lie on the couch. I've sat on this couch for three days flipping through channels hoping to find so something worth watching. I feel like I'm going insane sitting here doing nothing. I'm still doped up on pain pills, soon any pain I have is soon numbed, because of the pills I'm asleep most of the day.

I got moved to Billie's house. I had a bed there! Yay! Anyways, Billie had said some punk dude that had came over, but I was asleep. I asked him excitedly,
"Was it Brook?" He looked at me confused and asked,
"Who the hell is that?" I said,
"A guy that's my friend." Billie eyed me closely and asked,
"Nothing more?" I gave him one of those 'perfect' smiles of mine and gasped,
"Oh my god! You found out my secret!" He said,
"Now really, what does he mean to you?" I gave him one of those dreamy looks and said with a sigh,
"Everything." He left the room yelling,
"Adrienne!" as I was laughing my ass off because he was so gullible.
Adrienne came in the living room and asked Billie. "Now what is the problem?"
Billie looked at Adie and said,
"Boys..." with no emotion. Adie smiled. I said,
"This guy, Brook, well..." I laughed. "I told Billie we were more than friends...which isn't true. He acted like it was the end of the world. I mean, come on I'm seventeen. I can fend for myself." (Actually I had no idea if Brook and me were more than just friends. I had no clue what I meant to him). Adie grinned and whispered to Billie,
"Just wait till our little girl, Elena grows up." Adie grinned more wildly as Billie groaned, he wasn't looking forward to Elena's teen years.

I didn't need the pills much, which meant I wasn't sleeping almost all day. I could walk around without feeling as much pain now. This made me happy, because I could stroll around the house without someone yelling at me and telling me I needed my rest. Any of the parties, award shows Green Day went to, I missed out on. I didn't much care if I went anyways. I usually got stuck babysitting Jakob, Joey, and Elena. I grew more attached to Elena. She was just so cute, no one could hate her. Other than Jakob, because he wasn't the baby anymore, which meant he didn't get as much attention. Joey never talked to me. I don't think he likes me at all. When I did try to talk to him he'd act like I said nothing and walk away from me.
