Wicked Times, chapter 4

Tonight was some kind of an awards show. Oh, joy! I rolled my eyes. What fun? I didn't want to get dressed up. I didn't want to go anywhere. I got pulled into going. I figured I would need to find someone to court me. To my surprise Tre was going to court me.
He said, "Angela didn't want to go. She doesn't want media attention."
I said, "Oh..."
Tre gave me a goofy smirk and said, "What? You don't want me to go with you?"
I said, "Yep! That's it. I was hoping some cute guy would take me."
He made a sad face and asked, "I'm not cute?"
I just laughed and answered back, "No comment."
Then he asked with a hyper tone, "You think I am, don't you?"
I rolled my eyes and walked away from Tre.

I sat on my bed while Adrienne put my hair up. She had braided my dark brown-red streaked hair into different sized braids, then put it all up in a bun. It looked good in the front, but I could tell what it looked like in the back. It was so nice of Adie to fix my hair for me. Adie had bought me a stunning, black, satin dress, with double shoe string straps that crossed in the back, they were held in the front with pretty, little, silver clips. The dress fell just below my knees. I thought the dress was drop dead gorgeous. Adie also bought me some nice black shoes that were beautiful. The heels were about two inches high. The color of the shoes were midnight black. They had straps around the ankles and on the lower part of the shoe. They were opened toed and just so pretty, but looked so painful.

I carefully put on some black eyeliner, mascara, and red lip gloss. I looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a young women with a wonderful black dress on, a pretty cream colored face, dark brown hair falling around her face in places, with strikes of red that were in braids. The braids were put up in a very lovely bun. For the first time in my life I thought I looked pretty. I heard a soft knock on my door. I opened the door and saw it was Tre. He was dressed up too. His green hair was spiked just perfectly. He was wearing a dark black tux with a light gray shirt underneath and a bright red tie. His shoes were polished and shiny. He looked so awesome. In his hand he held a tiny box. He shoved it into my hands. I looked at it for a while, then I opened up the tiny printed card that read;

To: my band mate, Alexis

For your first awards show!

Tre

I opened the tiny white box carefully. There inside the box was a diamond drop pendent necklace. It had three spectacular diamonds all set in shiny platinum. The three diamonds were all under one another. On the top was the littlest diamond and on the bottom of the necklace was the biggest diamond. The wonderful necklace was placed in the box carefully.

Tre grabbed it out of the box. He lifted the necklace by the small sliver chain and hooked it on my neck gently. It was so amazing. No words could form in my mouth to thank Tre for everything he has done for me, so I just jumped up and hugged him with all my might.
