Wicked Times, chapter 7

I looked up to see who it was. I saw a boy that was about six feet tall, slender, and around twenty years old, by his looks. He had dark brown hair with blue tips that were soaked in the rain and falling all over his face. He had a nose ring that was a sliver hoop. He was wearing a soaked AC/DC t-shirt, a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans that were also soaked with cold rain, and bright red Converse.

I wiped away the water from my eyes, pulled my dark brown hair away from my face, and said with tint of pleading in my voice, "I'm so sorry!" The guy smiled at me slightly and said,
"It Ok." We stood there in dead silence for a while, with not a thing to say. He asked, "What were you running from?" I answered,
"Some guy." He just looked at me in a weird way. I started to walk away, until he ran up to me. He asked me,
"You need me to walk you home?" I just looked at him. He said,
"Shit! You aren't going home are you?" I said,
"I'm going home...it's just," I shivered. He took off this jacket and wrapped it around me. I was shocked. I mean I didn't even know the guy. I smiled a little and softly said, "Thank you." He must have heard because he said,
"Welcome miss."
"Um... What's your name?" He looked at me with wondering gray eyes that glowed and said, "Brook, your's?" I looked back at him with amazement and said,
"Alexis."

As we walked, we talked about random things (mostly music). I walked up towards the gate, to Billie's house. He asked,
"This your house, Alexis?" I said,
"Not mine, I'm just staying here for a bit." I looked at him. He broke out into a large grin and exclaimed,
"No friggin way! Billie Joe Armstrong lives here, right?" I nodded. He smiled. He said, "Wow..." in amazement. I stood there looking at him awed. He was cute. He was different than any other guy I had ever met. I looked at him in the eyes and said,
"I'd better go..." He quickly said,
"Ok." He kissed me lightly on the cheek and walked away.

Once I got inside I ran into my room. I pushed the door shut to 'my room' and threw in one of my CD's called 'The Best Insult' by Final Thought. I pushed play, then pushed it to track three, 'Drama Queen'. I listened to the music slowly spill out. I listened to the vocalist's voice carefully sing:
She's so fine
You can find someone else
Cause she all mine
With every verse, the vocalist's voice sounded louder, clearer, and surer than before. I listened to the drums, guitar, and bass fade into one another. The last thing I heard was the drummer's voice, edgy and so loud shout:
Drama Queen
