80 as in Adrienne Skye, chapter 2
"Adrienne, get your lazy butt up! And I mean now. Not in two hours," Anna Skye yelled up the stairs, toward her daughter's room.
"Dang, only 11:30am and she wants me to get up? Whatever, I guess I'll wake up," Adrienne said to herself.
Rubbing her eyes, Adie took a look around her bedroom.
Then room was pretty basic, bed, computer, and a bulletin board up on the wall. The major part of the room was the wall.
All over it were famous band posters. Ranging from The Clash and the Beatles to present day bands like Switchfoot, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day. It all centered around one thing. Music.
Ever since she had been old enough to talk, Adie had been centered around music.
That's why she had bought her guitar when she turn 13. Ever since she had bought it, the guitar was her life and the only thing that kept her sane.
Puting on a "American Idiot" t-shirt Adie ran downstairs, only to find Brad's smiling face.
Even though Brad wasn't a bad step-dad Adie hated him all the same. For one he wasn't her dad and he tried to act like it. Secondly he was just too damn happy. It got on your nerves really fast, especially if you were a 16 year old with a temper like a fuse.
After saying a quick, "Brad," Adie went into the kitchen to do what she did best, eat.
As she explored the cabinates Adie noticed that her mother had disappeared yet again. She had only called only minutes before, then she was gone again. That was her mother's way. She had a way of disappearing when she needed to.
"Having another smoke I bet," Adie said to herself.
Since Adie couldn't find her mom she decided to find Nate. And since Brad was everyone's keeper Adie decided to use him like the resource he was.
"Brad, where's Nate?" she yelled, trying to make it sound like a gratful tone.
" Your mom is trying to get him out of bed," Brad said, his cheerful grin making her want to puke.
" I can fix that." Adie said, smiling that evil little grin.
