And Then There Were None, chapter 2

"Morning precious." Billie Joe was greeted with a warm kiss from his loving wife.
"Mm, good morning. You won't believe the dream I had." Billie Joe spoke as Adrienne crossed the floor infront of the bed and into their walk-in closet to get dressed. "I got kidnapped and was brought to this sick guy's house. He locked me in the basement chained to a bed. It was crazy."
Adrienne sat down behind Billie Joe and began rubbing his back.
"I mean, Adie, it was so real."

That's when the pain hit him. Billie Joe winced as Adrienne began squeezing his shoulders harder and harder.
"Well I hate to tell you this-" Adie's voice became deeper and deeper. "-but that wasn't just a dream pretty boy. But it was not nice for you to run away from me. You can't escape."
Billie Joe peered over his shoulder and was shocked to be face to face with Ralph.
"What the hell?! Where's my Adie?!" Billie rubbed his eyes furiously in the assumption that he was just seeing things.
"Oh don't you worry. I'll take care of the whore in a minute. I wanna have fun with you first."
Billie Joe's eyes widened in horror as Ralph pounced on him and violated Billie Joe in ways unimaginable. Ralph feverishly kissed Billie and tugged his hair. His hands roamed all over the fragile 33-year-old's body.

At this point, Adrienne was in the corner, shaking and trembling as she watched her husband be sexually harassed. What was to come for her though?

After Billie struggled for a while he finally pushed Ralph off of him.
"Well wasn't that nice huh? Now its time for a little fun with the whore over here. And I promise to do more than wooh you."
Ralph began making his way over toward Adie.
"Don't you fucking touch her, asshole!" Billie grabbed Ralph's shoulder.
"Haha you've just made a big mistake, boy." Ralph's beady eyes peered at Billie Joe's hand through the slimmest crack. Ralph whirled aroud while grabbing a gun tucked in the waistband of his jeans.

Billie Joe was staring down the barrel of death, literally.

He watched as Ralph cocked the slide and saw the golden bullet enter the empty chamber, and the look on his face wasn't even terror. It was simply blank with astonishment. Ralph beckoned for Adrienne to come over, but she was too hysterical to respond.

"Get. Over. Here. Now BITCH!" Ralph punctuated every syllable of every word which made Adrienne shudder and cried even more but reluctantly rose from the corner she was hidden in. Once Adrienne was within reach, Ralph slid his hand around her waist and yanked her senselss body towards him.

"Now, today you're going to learn how a gun works, and we're going to take this baby for a spin. Okay?" Who knew words could hurt so much. Adrienne's breaths became shallower and previously wiped away tears were dripping from her finger tips, creating small puddles on the wood bedroom floor.

"Now why don't we just go to the basics of todays lesson?" Ralph laughed menacingly. "This here is the hammer-" He cocked the hammer and the gun clicked. "-and this here is the trigger. You pull that and it will send a nice gold bullet through lover boy's head." Ralph overlooked the couple. Billie Joe was helpless at this point. The device was cocked and loaded and his destiny stood at the trigger of the gun. Adrienne had her head bowed to the floor and was still trying to understand that in a few mintues her husband's blood would be joining the puddles of tears on the bedroom floor.

"Give me your hand." Adrienne raised her limp hand just enough for Ralph to lift it to the gun. Instantly Adrienne's attention was brought to the cool metal of the gun handle touching the palm of her hand. Ralph wrapped his arm around the other side of Adrienne and placed her other hand in proper position on the other side of the gun handle.

Here she was, Adrienne Armstrong, 35 years old and about to shoot and kill her husband after 12 years of passion-filled marriage.

Enough talkie talkie for one lesson though. Now it's time to see what this piece can do."

Ralph snaked his hands around Adrienne's waist leaving her hands to hold up the gun. To say her hands were shaking was an understatement. The hammer on the gun clicked as Adrienne did her best to hold the gun steady. She looked over at her husband who was trying his best to hide the tears running down his cheeks. His shoulders shook as he finally scrambled enough courage to look up at his wife. Adrienne mouthed I'm sorry to Billie Joe and he let out a small gasp.
"I love you, Adie. Just remember I always have and I always will."
"I love you too Billie Joe." Adrienne shrieked.

Just then a light knock at the door was the only sound in the room. A large balding head slipped through the door.
"Uh hey, Ralph, we gotta go soon. Could ya hurry it up a bit?"
Billie studied that face carefully. He knew it from somewhere: the defined cheekbones, the dark hair, but it was the soft small eyes that gave it away.

"Al." Billie gasped.

Before Al could say anything Ralph butt in.
"Yeah, yeah. The lady here was just about to finish off her husband. Give me a second." With that Al backed out of the room and shut the door.

Ralph assumed his prior position behind Adrienne.
"Okay ladies and gents. Show's over. Time to wrap things up. Now shoot the damn man already."
Adrienne was still shuddering and just then every thing went into slow motion.

The trigger was pulled.

The firing pin was ignited and the bullet slowly slid it's way out of the barrel.

The all went
black.

But it wasn't over just yet.
