Wait for me.., chapter 3

Weeks later Mike couldn't take it anymore. He walked over to Billie's and demanded to know what was wrong!! It had been 3 weeks since he said a word to anyone.

"Spill man, I can't take it to see you like this. What happened??" shouted Mike. Silence... " Right, fine! I'm not doing this no more. I quit!!"

Billie Joe looked up at him ... he meant it, he could tell.

"She left me man,"
"Bill , you left her asking her to wait or some shit!"
"Dude , I saw her in another guys arms... she obviously didn't wait."
"Its been over a month... she can't wait forever for you. Your sitting here in silence man. That can drive a man insane! She's been ringing our place for you we just couldn't say anything to her cause we didn't have a clue what was going on! Everyday this past month ... everyday man!! Now tell me she doesn't love you ... go on NOW tell me that!"
"You didn't say ... SHIT!"

He ran out of the house... he was confused and hurt but since hearing that a warm glow inside of him. Did she care? Did she still love him? He needed to know ... but blue was still in his arms.

Fran's POV

'I'm still waiting, how much longer does he need? I can't just wait , I need to move on. I need to know... soon. I'll wait another day and then , I can't take it but I love him! Why does love hurt so much? Suicidal seems less painful at this point.'

normal POV

He walked to her house and stood there in silence... thinking of what to say. Did he say I love you , but what if that boy was there? Did he say hey, thanks for waiting while I did nothing just to mess with your head? Well he didn't do that but it must've felt like he had.

*knocks the door*

"Billie!!" she screams. A smile creeps across his face.
"Do you still love me? I need to know."
"Cou.."
" I saw you with a guy and you seemed pretty close to me... he was holding you in his arms Fran... what was I meant to think?"
"That's my ... " Without giving her a chance to answer ... he leans in and brushes his lips against hers and looks deep into her eyes. He felt he could see into her soul. She brought him closer and started to cry.
"I love you , Billie Joe. Don't forget that... even when your with another girl.."
"Another girl?? I wouldn't even dream of it babe... cause I love you with all my heart. Your just so perfect in everyway, you mean the world to me Fran and I couldn't live without you... I love you. If I see anyone ever trying to take you away from me .. I'll kill them!"

He pulled out blue, before he starts to play he looks at her face, she smiled sweetly at him.

"Nobody has ever heard blue sing, and I want you to be the second. Before you ask , I played it for my dad cause he got it for me and it was the last thing I did for him before he ... passed away." he swallowed hard.

He started playing her song... he meant every word and she took it all in. She started to cry, nobody had ever written her a song before. When he finished he held her tight, and whispered sweet words into her ear.

"I've waited Billie Joe ... I love you ... and I know you love me too."

"Don't ever do that again ... I love you so much I couldn't bare to lose you," he whispered to her. They both leaned in for a kiss ... it was so sweet. Watching what sounded like an argument waiting to happen, ended so peacefully.

"Billie Joe , please don't kill my cousin," she laughed.

"Cousin?? Shit!!" he shouted. He picked up his mobile, " boys don't bother , it was her cousin!"
"You dragged us out here for nothing?! Billie Joe wait till we get our hands on you!!"
"It's ok lads... at least wait till Fran does first," and he hangs up.
