Love, The Jesus, and Letterbombs, chapter 1
I sat on the curb with my best friend, the wind blew through our hair as we sat and talked about how much we hate school. We only hated school because everyone thought we were so different and weird. My name was Catie and her name was Ally. I was mulatto (here meaning that she was has one black parent and one white parent) and Ally was just white. I had long dark hair, that reached my shoulders and I had dark brown eyes that seemed so lifeless. I was wearing my black sweatshirt and black pants. I also wore black nail polish and black eyeliner, so my favorite color was obviously black. Ally had light brown hair that also reached her shoulders. She had eyes that changed colors everyday, so we never really knew what color her eyes were. She was dressed fairly similar to me, but she was wearing a black Rolling Stones T-shirt. We lived in a small town just outside of San Francisco; it wasn't a very colorful place. Most of the houses just looked faded and they were very close together. Ally lived just 4 houses down from my house. We went to a middle school that looked more like a prison and every kid was either a whore or a guy that wanted a whore. There were only several of the "normies" ,as me and Ally called them, that went to our school. They were just like us, but we never really saw them that much. There were like 2 other girls and only 5 other guys that were "normies" too.
"My dad thinks that I need to drop this whole "rebel" thing and be a goody-good." I said as I threw a rock across the road.
"My mom agrees, she even threatened to take my bass away from me if I didn't stop wearing black all the time." Ally said with a sigh. By the way we had our own band, I was lead guitar, she was bass, and one of those normie boys, Jeff"Twit"Jones, was our drummer. We called ourselves...'The Best Thing to Happen'.
"Yeah, I just sometimes want to go live on my own..like that one kid that moved in with that kid not too long ago......"I said soon being cut off by my Dad calling me in to do homework.
"Can I come with to "study" with ya?" Ally said with a smirk.
"Yeah no problem...." I said as I sat up as slow as I could possibly take. We ran to her house to get her homework. Then we came to my house and we went to my room right away to finish up our homework. After that we went to her house to practice our "weapons of mass destruction"...a.k.a. our instruments.
"I'm going to sleep overnight here tonight. Ill call my dad to ask, I really can't stand another night there." I said as I picked up the phone and started dialing my home phone number.
"Alrighty then, listen to this awesome new song I came up with." Ally said as she started to sing a new song.
"Sounds cool....ummm what's it called?" I said while waiting for my dad to pick up.
"I've been waiting to long.' is the name of it" she said as she hummed it. I could tell that she really liked it, I did too.
"My dad said it was all right, ill just pick my things up in the morning." I said. After that we continued to strum our gee-tars....
I woke up and realized that it was 7:45 and I had 15 min. to get to school. I freaked out and ran home to get dressed. I slipped on my long sleeved black shirt and black pants with my stud belt. I brushed my hair and grabbed my backpack and ran back to Ally's. She grabbed her bag and we were soon running to school. I was so lucky I had like every class with her, except Science and English. We ran to our first hour, Geography. The bell rang as soon as we reached the back of the classroom. All of sudden two kids with dark brown hair ran into the class.
"Late." the teacher said with a stern voice.
"Since when are we not."? One of the kids said. He was wearing a red sweatshirt, it looked worn. He also wore black pants that seemed a bit tight. He even had the same black converses as me.
"He's so cool." I said to Ally.
"I think his name is Billie Joe, but some people call him Billie. I like his friend." she said. I looked over at Billie; he was talking to his friend.
His friend was a little taller than him. He wore a black t-shirt that looked like its been lying on his floor for awhile. He wore the same black pants as Billie. He had red and white converses. By the way converses were quite popular with the normies.
"I never really noticed them. I mean I have seen them around, but it seems that I have really NOTICED them now. They are "normies too Ally, that is so cool. I wonder if we should ask them to sit with us." I said as the teacher started to prepare for what he was going to say. By the way our little group consisted of me, Ally, Jeff, Tyler, Georgia...a.k.a. Georgy, and her best friend (the only other normie girl left) Rina. There was another guy his name was Fredrick, but he hung out with other people, but we were still questioning if he was a normie or not.
"Well you probably didn't notice them because we normally just look for our normie friends, and they aren't in class that much, and if they are they are late." Ally said as she started to take out her assignment.
"Girls in the back, pay attention. And Billie and Mike, just zip it for once." the teacher said as he started to write down the new assignment on the board. I wondered if that teacher had eyes in the back of his head and ears that could hear everything. No matter what he could tell if we were talking or if we were about to.
The bell rang and we walked out of class. I ran down to Science and was actually early, thank god. I sat next to Rina who was writing a note to Jeff. She was going out with Jeff. They were inseparable; sometimes Jeff would skip practice to be with her. Or he would bring her with, which was good because sometimes we needed a critic.
"Ok class sit down and turn to page 65. Read it and I will be passing out a paper with the directions and the graph that you will be filling out."
I started to read right and realized we were doing a lab. Ugh that meant I had to be partners with some loser, or maybe ill get Rina. But that normally never happens.
"Ok I will be giving you a partner and after you will follow the directions on how to do the lab. And don't forget to stay safe!" he said enthusiastically as if we cared.
"Rina and Harley. Mike and Fred. Jenn and Haley....blahblahblah..Billie and Catie." my heart jumped. I looked over at Billie and Mike. Mike nudged Billie in the arm. Billie blushed and I knew I was too...
Rina nudged me in the shoulder just like Mike did to Billie. "Hey!" I said to Rina,"I don't even like him!"
"I'm so sure, that's why your face is as red as ever! And plus your trembling, and I know you only do that when your around boys you like, like remember Tyler?" she said with the slyest look.
"Yeah, but that was like last year, and anyways I thought that...well..."I was speechless and I guess he was right behind me.
"Go get 'em"Rina whispered in my ear. I hit her immediately after that.
"So you're Catie...right? Billie said with such confidence as if he knew how nervous I was.
"Yeah..your Billie then?" I said pretending not to know who he was. "I think you're in all of my classes. And your friends with Mike Dirnt...someone that I know likes him." I said, god I ramble on way too much!
"Yeah that's me!" he said as he pointed with his thumb to himself. "And yes that's Mike." he said as he pointed over at Mike. Mike smiled and soon got back to screwing around. "Hey, Mikes open ya know. He just broke up with some chick, it was his first girlfriend....."he said as he sighed sarcastically. "But I can ask him out for this "girl", well I know its you."
"No way! Not saying Mike is bad or anything, but it is seriously for my friend....well that girl I know." I said feeling dumb for practically giving it away.
"O your little friend...ummm...Alyssa?" he said as we walked back to the table to get started with the assignment.
"Close enough, her name is Ally. And don't tell him, because she barely even knows him." I said with caution in my voice. I looked down at what we had to do, how easy I thought in my head. I still have time to chat with Billie.
"I wont, I promise. It'll be our little secret.," he said. I practically fainted, 'our little secret', we had secrets together! "So anyways this is really easy, lets finish it up and chat after."
So we started and got done. I never would of thought someone who was never in class that much knew so much. "So Billie, are you dating anyone?" my friend Rina said as she came up from behind us.
"As a matter of fact...no..Im not....I really haven't." he said. My heart jumped again, he's single, and he has never really dated, how awesome! And another thing is Mike is open for Ally! This one of the many few "descent" (how ever u spell it) days of school.
"Hey Billie....."Mike came up next to Billie. "And Mike..would you want to sit with us at lunch, I mean we need more people like you at our table...and your so cool...and.."I said being cut off by Mike.
"Of course!" Mike said with a smile. I felt a sudden wave of relief; I finally got it over with.
The bell rang and I ran straight to the next class...health. As I was walking to class I told Ally all about it.
"Are you serious! You told Billie that I liked mike!!!???!!!" Ally said as she was staring at me in disbelief.
"Hey he wont tell trust me." I said trying to calm her down.
"Oh yeah im going to trust Billie Joe with that..."
"With what?" I familiar voice asked. It was Billie Joe.
"Well Miss Loudmouth told you that I liked Mike." Ally said.
"She did, she did. And now you just made it more clear that you do." he said smiling." And now Mike knows too."
"What do you mean Billie? I said confused.
"Ummm Hey guys.."a voice said behind us. I turned around and it was Mike......
Ally's face turned so red that it made me burst out into laughter. But then she said something I would have never expected her to say.
"Of course I do..why wouldn't I? Isn't he the coolest thing ever?"
"Awww look at Mike he's smiling." Billie said as he pushed Mike towards Ally. "Come on look at the worlds cutest couple!" Billie said as Mike inched more and more closer to Ally.
I ran up to Mike and pulled him aside. "So Mr.Dirnt do you fancy my friend Ally? I asked him glancing at Ally as she tried to pretend I wasn't doing this. "I mean she's got it all, the looks, the talent, I mean you should here her play her bass..Wow!" I said.
"You play bass?" Billie asked Ally.
"Yeah I do, and my friend Catie here plays the gee-tar." she said smiling at me.
"Sweet, I play guitar too."Billie said flashing me the cutest smile.
"And I play bass. But we got to get to class you guys, the bell is going to ring soon." Mike said. And as soon as he said it the bell rang and we found ourselves running to class.
"Welcome, normally students come in class BEFORE the bell. Mrs. Fulton explained to us.
"It's always those punks that cause trouble. They were probably out smoking a dubie."The biggest school sl*ut said to the whole class, her name was Karly May. We all hated her. And hopefully Mike and Billie did too. The whole class laughed with her as we seated ourselves to the back of the room.
"what a bi*tch."Billie said, as he looked over at me to find me looking not so me. "Are you ok Catie?" Billie asked. Eeek he cares!
"Yeah, fine, I just hate her so much!" I said. Ally nodded along with me. All of the sudden a note was thrown on to my desk. I started to read it. It said:
hey Catie,
I like your friend Ally too. Umm and sure I "fancy" her. and now that I know that she "fancies" me back...do you think she'll go out with me?
"Mike..."I whispered.
"Yeah....?"He whispered back.
I just nodded my head. And the hugest smile grew on his face.
Lunch Time:
SO Mike and Ally were an item now. Aww how cute. I sat next to Billie at lunch. It meant nothing, because I knew that he would never like me.
"Hey Catie."Mike said with food in his mouth.
'Yup.....what do ya need?" I said fiddling around with my hair.
"Can Billie and me go over to one of your guys' houses tonight? You know to practice, maybe start a cool friendship.," he asked with the most innocent look in his eyes.
"Ummm how bout at my house. I got I nice studio, well my basement, and my dad is going to be gone for most of the night." I said making sure that Ally agreed.
"Alrighty then." Ally said. 'But you still have to pick up your guitar when I go and get mine. And are you boys just going to walk home with us then?" Ally asked.
"Yeah."Billie and Mike said in unison.
I was so happy I could barely eat.
So the last school bell rang and we ran to our lockers and grabbed everything that we could. I liked and hated Fridays...it meant no more school..But they pilled on the homework way too much! Anyways I ran to Ally's locker and Mike was already they're just staring at her. I knew that he liked her...and it is sooo cute! They hugged and we started making our way to Billie's locker. He looked up at me with his green eyes....and I just got lost in them.
"So Catie are we ready to hit the old dusty trail?" Billie said with the cutest smile. Ok what can I say everything about him made me so madly in love with him. And I barely even knew him! But I felt like we were old friends.
"Of course we are Sir Billie." I said. Oh my god....I'm making such a fool out of myself. Mike put his arm around Ally. God they must already be so far in their relationship...hello it's been one day!
So we started to head towards Ally's house and we told the boys to stay inside because Ally's mom was home. So we ran inside and grabbed our guitars and headed out as fast as possible.
"You guys were fast." Mike said still staring at Ally. I think its so cute them...together.
"Well if my mom knew I was going to Catie's to hangout with my boyfriend." Mike blushed and smiles she said that." She would have never let me go."
"And she would have told my dad that I was having people over with out his permission. Sorry but we have really strict parents." I said as we came to my door. "Don't mind if it's a little messy." I said as we headed for the basement. "Ummm you guys just get settled...me and Ally will go and get the snacks and stuff." After I said that me and Ally headed upstairs.
"So how are you and Mike?" I asked Ally.
" We are doing good..I think I'm in love." she said as she sighed and sarcastically put his hand on her head. "And he wrote me a note saying that he wants me to go over to his house tomorrow to hangout."
"ooooOoOh Ally!" I said as I grabbed some sodas and a bag of chips. "You totally should...I can tell he really likes you Ally! And it's just so darn cute!" We started to head down the hallway towards the basement stairs.
"Well you know Billie likes you..right?" Ally said as she looked at me. I nearly dropped the stuff in my hands as she said that.
"he...he..he does?" I said in complete shock. I was getting really anxious now.
"Well yeah...Mike told me after lunch when you went to your locker and Billie was in the bathroom. Mike said that Billie thinks your super cool and that he really likes you. And he has for a while. He's just been a little too nervous to speak up and junk." she said as if i was totally clueless.
"Wow..and I thought he was Mr. Confident. Oh my god." After that term of shock we started downstairs. It was kind of fun now knowing that he liked me and all.
"Yummy chips and soda." Mike and Billie said at the same time.
"So are you guys ready to show off your mad gee-tar skills?" I said looking at the guys.
"Yup." Mike said.
"O Sh*it! I forgot my guitar at my house. I was going to try to get it as soon as we started to head to your house.
"So should we go and get it? " I asked Billie.
'Yeah...but we don't all have to go...ill just go by myself and get it. You guys can stay here, so you can still see Mike show off and stuff." he said. I thought it over and came up with a plan.
"Hey Billie." I said ushering him over by me. "Come here for a sec." I said as he ran over.
"Yeah what is it Catie?"He asked.
" Well how bout I go with you and we can leave Mike and Ally here together." I said with a wink.
"Good Plan."Bille said. So Billie made sure it was all right with Mike. And of course Mike didn't mind at all. And Ally didn't either.
"Hey Catie...come here." Ally said.
'Yeah what is it?" I asked impatiently.
"Go get 'em Tiger." she said as she growled. I blushed and tried to ignore what she had just said. So now me and Billie we off on our little adventure to go and get his guitar. WE made our way out the door. It was already getting dark..I was glad I went with him.
"My house isn't too far from here. Just a quick walk." Billie said. As soon as he said that a car rush up and nearly hit me. Billie grabbed me close...and I nearly fainted in his arms.
"Ummm sorry bout that." Billie said as he blushed." Your ok.right?"
"Yup..im fine now." I said as I smiled and looked up at him. He smiled back..and then I got lost in his marvelously green eyes.
ALLY
I sat there just staring at Mike playing his bass.... I never met someone who was so good at bass. "Wow that was really good Mike, I wish I could do something like THAT!" I said as I punched him playfully in the arm. I've never been so close to a guy...and I liked him soooo much!
"Thanks Ally." he said as his innocent eyes sparked with such blueness...if that even made since. "ummmm would you want me to teach you?" he said.
"Sure, as long as you want to." I said. I wonder if Catie and Billie are getting close..
"Of course I want to." he said as he placed my bass around me and he situated his self behind me. "Ok you put your fingers here and then here." he said as he put his hand on my hands moving my fingers to the spots where I was supposed to play.
"I think I'm starting to get it." I said as I then turned around and looked at Mike. He then blushed....it was super cute. 'Ok wait a second Ally...control yourself we've been dating for one day..slow down.; I thought to myself. But before i could continue debating Mike moved in and kissed me. I kissed him back. And then we just ending up kissing each other back a lot...and i just got lost in it....
CATIE
After that close encounter with death we made our way to his house. Even though i knew that he liked me...i kept doubting it and making the situation even more uncomfortable for myself.
"We..are...here." Billie said panting as he reached the door. Everywhere here in San Francisco was all practically up hill. "Do you want to wait out here or just come inside?" he said as he looked at me. i could tell that he wanted me to come with.
"Ill go with you." i said.
"Ok well we'll be going upstairs to my room so you can head up there right away. I'll be up there in a bit." he said as we entered the house. I made my way up to his room and sat on his bed. "wow" i said out loud. The room was so much like mine. And i then spotted his guitar. It was blue with stickers all over it. 'pretty unique' i thought to myself. My guitar was just the original black and white with a red sticker that had a C on it....for my first name.
"So do you like?" Billie asked as he sat down next to me.
"Yeah..It's kind of like my room. But yours is so much cooler." i said to him. I looked at him out of the corner of my eye. I saw that he was staring at me. My face turned suddenly very red. He then scooted close to me and then he flinched and got up to get his guitar.
"Umm so are you ready to go?" he asked as he started to head out the door.
"Yeah..." i said in disappointment. But at least we can get back to Mike and Ally. We started to walk outside and he then grabbed my hand.
"ummm can i show you something?" he said as he pulled me towards the other end of town where there was a clearing.
"Uh sure." I said unsure about where we were going. He started to go into the more woodsy edge of town. We walked until we reached the semi-private like clearing. He sat down and set his guitar down. I sat down next to him.
"ummm i know that I've only known you for a day..but i guess i wanted to tell you here. uhhhh i like you....lots. you are just like me and i just want to ask you...will you go out with me?" he said looking at his feet nervously. i didn't know what to do. i was in shock and he was so straight forward.
"Yes I will Billie Joe." i said as i looked into his eyes and smiled. He then leaned in for a hug and i hugged him. It seemed to have lasted forever. After that we looked at each other i he then kissed me and i kissed him. It was perfect.
After all that lovin we headed home. We were holding hands and walking. So much has happened in a day....well actually in an hour! I was happier then ever. We reached my house. I was glad to see that my dad wasn't home yet. We walked downstairs and my eyes opened in shock. There was Mike and Ally kissing....
"Oh...hey guys." Mike said. He stopped kissing Ally.
"Ally can i talk to you?" i said as i ushered here upstairs.
"We'll leave you men alone." Ally said as she got up and started to walk up the stairs. "So what is it Catie?"
"ummm Ally what have you guys been doing?" i asked as i raised an eyebrow.
Ally laughed and said." Well he was teaching me this little bass jingle and we kind of got close. and he moved in for a kiss and i kissed him back. and we ended up kissing back and forth to the point of making out. which is so unlike me...but i really like him!" she said out of breath because she was talking so much. "O yeah and what did you guys do?" she said mocking me with the whole eyebrow thing.
"well we went to his house. And then he wanted to take a walk with me. We sat down at this clearing...you know towards that woodsy end of town? Ally nodded." Well he took me there and he spilled it all out to me....and he asked me out."
"Well what did you say?" Ally asked eager to hear the rest.
"Well of course i said yes. And then we hugged. And after that we kissed and kissed a little bit more. And i guess we walked home hand in hand. i guess i may really....really like him." I said as Ally smiled and hugged me.
"O that is soooo awesome!" she said as we headed downstairs. After that everyone took of their instruments and showed off.
ALLY
After our little "battle of the bands"...,which their little band is really good! a lot better than we are....but they said that they would help us out, we walked the guys home. Catie and Billie held hands..my gosh they are too cute. I smiled at Mike...he was looking at them too. Then i whispered in his ear." Lets wait till they get a little bit more ahead of us...you know so we can talk and stuff."
"Alright."Mike said really close to my ear..i could almost feel his lips on my ear...i shivered. So we started walking really slowly. "Its so nice out tonight. you can actually see the stars." Mike said. I could tell he was looking at me so i looked at him and he kissed me on my nose. "I love you." he said. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest.
"I..."I looked into his eyes and felt something really amazing. "I love you too." I finally said. Do i really though..is it to soon? Will it last? Yes i love Mike...and he loves me back.
CATIE
Wow they were really good with their music. I loved all of their songs..we could really learn from them! "Hey Ally I guess you can learn a lot more then how to play bass from Mike." I said. I waited for an answer. I turned around,"Ally?"i called out. "Oh i see she's with Mike back there." i said to Billie.
"I guess they want more time alone." he said looking back with me.'Well at least this gives us some more time alone." He said winking at me.
'I guess it does." I said winking back at him. I kissed him and we ended up kissing a lot. We reached his house and he softly put me against the wall and started to kiss me even more.
"I love you.."he said under the muffles of kisses.
"I love you too." I said. But then as I was kissing i was thinking do i really? But then i really thought about what i was doing and the feeling i get when im around him. So yes...i love Billie Joe and he loves me.
"Sorry but i got to go." he said as he kissed me on the cheek. I hugged him and watched him walk up the stairs to his door. "Bye." he said as he blew me a kiss. I blew him a kiss right back. Right after that i saw Mike and Ally give each other a last kiss and Mike made his way inside.
"I saw everything." Ally said as we made our way home. "Wow you guys moved along FAST." she said winking.
"Yes we did." I said agreeing(sp?)"And he even said he loved me...and said that i did right back." I said smiling and replaying the moment.
"Same here!" Ally said as her eyes got really big." I love Mike sooo much. And he's a good kisser." she said as she snickered. We made it to her house and she walked up the stairs singing a song about Mike. I laughed and said,"Dont forget to get your bass tomorrow!"
"I wont! Good night...Mrs.Armstrong!"she yelled.
"Goodnight Mrs.Pritchard..slash Dirnt!" i yelled back. She shut the door and i made my way home. I ran to my room and went to bed. I was so ecstatic(sp?) I couldn't even get to sleep.....
CATIE
I woke up and looked at the alarm clock..."Holy Shi*t its 7:45!" I got up and practically jumped into my clothes, i grabbed my book bag and i was out the door. Ally was already at the school doors, i ran to catch up to her. "Ally!!! Wait up!" I yelled.
"Come on..i got to see Mike!" Ally yelled jokingly. I finally caught up to her.
"Lets go to our locker and then I have to put on some friggin eyeliner!" i said as i ran to my locker grabbing my books and eyeliner out of the bag.
"Hurry up, we only have like 5 min to get to class!" Ally said as we rushed into the bathroom.
"Im trying." I said as i looked into mirror applying my eyeliner.
After looking alright we headed towards the Geography room. We opened the door and to our surprise we found Billie and Mike already in their seats. We made our way to our seats and the teacher gave us yet another look.
"You guys got lucky." He said as he made his way to the front of the classroom, then the bell rang.
"See, we had PLENTY of time Ally." I said sarcastically.
"Well we got lucky, just as he said we did." she said laughing. "Well thank god it's Friday. And im glad we have Monday off to!"
"I can't agree more." I said soon to be interrupted by the teachers meaningless words.
"We will be watching a video today, and i expect that everyone talked notes and stays on task. i also expect that everyone gets it turned in by the end of the hour.
"O joy another one of those da*mn movies." Ally said as she started to pull out her notebook.
"Well at least this gives me time to write a note to Rina to tell her about last night." I said as I also pulled out my notebook.
"Hey did you know that there is going to be a gig at the 'Matchbook Heights' place? And Rina and Jeff are going, so we should go too. And you know who i mean by WE." she said hinting over to Billie and Mike who were just fooling around.
'Yes i know who you mean. Well i know i can go tonight, and i bet you can go to. So you should write a note to Mike asking them if they want to go tonight with us. Come on. It'll be fun."
"Well of course i will!" Ally said as she started to write the note. I soon finished up my note and folded it up. I then started to jot down some notes, i was doing it because if my dad sees me with one bad grade, he'll kill me. I looked over at Ally and saw that she was doing the same thing. Her mom is also as strict as my dad.
Soon after..the bell rang. "See ya in Health Ally!" I said as i headed towards Science. All of the sudden someone picked me up and turned me around and kissed me on the cheek.
"Hey there." Billie said as he smiled. I blushed and felt a sudden burst of happiness.
"well hey there to you too." I said as we walked to Science together soon followed by Mike.
"I got a note from Ally!" Mike said as he sarcastically skipped around like a little kid. "She's so sweet!" he said as he came up to Billie with a huge grin on his face.
This almost seemed to good to be true.....and i somehow knew something was going to screw it all up.
ALLY
I was sitting in class just thinking about Mike...nothing new. All of the sudden Karly comes up to me and stares me down.
"So i heard you were with Mike Pritchard..Dinrt."she said with a smirk.
"Yeah I am...soo."I said as i looked away from her trying to find someone to talk to other than her.
"Well he's actually not only dating you...he's dating my friend Felicity. I know..Scandle (sp?) huh?"she said as she looked away. As soon as i heard that i was more pissed than i was sad. It seemed like forever until the bell rang. as soon as it did I ran to Catie's locker trying to avoid the stares.
"Oh My God...are you ok? what in the he*ll happened to you?" Catie said as she hugged me.
"That bast*ard!"Ally said as she started to head for the bathrooms.
"Who are you talking about." Catie said in shock.
"Mike...."I said wiping my eyes.
"Why?"Catie in disbelief(sp?).
"Well Karly told me that her friend, Felicity, was going out with Mike too." I said trying to control my tears.
"Oh my god."Catie said as she walked me to the health room.
"Do i look O.K.?"I asked.
"Yes, you like fine. I can't even tell that you were crying."Catie said.
"Hey girlies."Billie said as he wrapped his arm around Catie.
"Where's Mike?"Catie asked Billie.
"I think he started to head to the Health room already. He said that someone was meeting him there early, nothing important though." Billie said looking at the both of us.
"Well we...well actually I need to speak to him."Catie said.
"Alrighty..well what about?" Billie asked Catie.
"Something that is only between us 3, you'll now sooner or later."Catie said as she opened the door to the Health room.
"Alrighty."Billie said as he made his way to his seat. I sat down next to Catie and looked around for Mike. He saw me and smiled...I just turned back to talk to Catie. All of the sudden i saw Karly go over to Mike and put her arm around him and nodded in the direction of Felicity. I thought i was going to throw up. I ran to the front of the room.
"I need a pass." I asked the teacher.
"take this one, but hurry up." she said handing me the pass.
CATIE
Ally ran out the door...I turned to look at Mike. I saw Mike trying to get Karly away from him.
"What the he*ll are you doing???"Mike said as he looked at Karly in disbelief.
"You know you like her."Karly said to mike.
"Whatever..just leave me alone." Mike said facing Billie. I walked over to Mike's desk.
"What the he*ll is all this I have heard about you and Felicity?" I asked Mike.
"Well she is my ex and Karly is trying to get me with her again..and i have no intentions." Mike said with a very serious and pissed look on his face.
"O...well Ally heard..and yeah."I said looking around nervously.
"Well i have to tell her the truth..cuz i thought she was mad at me." Mike said. Ally came back. I ushered her over to me and Mike. And lets just say it all worked out in the end. After the bell rang we made our way to lunch. I knew that something would go wrong....but now what's going to happened to me....
CATIE
So we made our way to lunch. Awww Mike and Ally were making up, i never want to see that happen to Ally again.
"Sit next to me Catie! Sit next to me!" Billie called jokingly.
"of course i will." I said as i sat down next to him. He then kissed me on the cheek.
"So would you want to do something tonight? like go to that gig place?" Billie asked me with a mouthful of food.
"Sure. Mike did you read that note that Ally gave you?" I asked.
'Yup, so now we're going on a big group date!" Mike said hugging Ally.
"We'll meet you guys at Ally's house."Rina said. John nodded along with it.

LATER, AFTER SCHOOL
CATIE
So we told the guys to meet as back at Ally's at 6. After that we made our way to my house to get ready for tonight.
"I'm so hyped for tonight! I mean like spending all night with the guys that we love!" Ally said.
"Sh*it! I still got to ask my dad about tonight! Did you ask your mom?" I asked.
'Yeah, i called her with the school phone in the munch room." she said pushing me out of the bathroom. "now go ask your dad so we can f*ucking do this!" I calmly walked to the living room where my dad was watching football.
"Uhhh Dad do you think i can go out with some friends to the Matchbook Heights tonight, we'll be back before midnight." I asked.
"I don't think so. You still haven't done any of your chores, and you just hung out with your friends last night. Just take a break for tonite."He said.
"What??!!?? Urgh you can be so difficult, its Friday i have to go out!"I yelled.
"Well you're not going to, and if you ask again, you're going to be in bigger trouble. So my final answer is no, so no further comments. good bye now." he said still facing the tube.
"Fine!" I said as i ran back to the bathroom.
"I heard it all Catie. Im sorry." she said hugging me. I looked at the clock, it was 5:30.
"You might as well head to Mike's and tell them that i can't go." I said.
"Alrighty, but maybe tomorrow we can go out." she said.
ALLY
I headed towards Mike's house. I had a plan. I knocked on the door.
"hey-lo!" Mike said hugging me and carrying me all the way to Billie's room. "Billie is trying to find a song that he wrote for Catie, he wants to play it for her."
"Awww that's so sweet Billie, and its perfect for tonight." I said.
"By the way, where's Catie?" Mike asked.
"She can't come." I said. "but can i use your phone?"
"Yeah..sure."Billie said, he looked so down. Well wait till he hears what i came up with.
"Hello."Catie said on the other line.
"Hey there Catie, its Ally calling from your lovers house." I said. Billie giggled like a school girl.
"Was that Billie?"Catie asked.
"Yeah it was.' I said laughing.
"O cute." she said laughing. "So what do ya need?"Catie asked.
"Are your parents going to be home tonight?"
"Ummm I don't think so. My little sister is going to her friend's house. And my step mom and my dad are going out." she said. "So I'll be here alone."
"Oh, OK. That's all i needed to know." i said. "Well bye."
"Yup bye."catie said.
"So why did you call her to ask if her parents were home tonite?"Billie asked.
"I've got a plan." I said ushering the boys over." We'll need your guitar Billie..and that song. Also some kick-a*ss vocals from ya too." I said. Catie was going to love me for this......
CATIE
'Bye!" I yelled from my room. My parents were leaving the house. I started to play my guitar. After awhile i set my guitar down. I looked at the clock, 8:00. They have already been there for an hour. Well at least Ally can have fun. I relaxed on my bed flipping through a guitar mag, when all of the sudden something flew through my window.
'What the he*ll?"I said." Well at least my window was open. I looked over at the object and saw it was a rock. I then looked outside and saw something that made my heart melt....
"Billie?!?" I yelled.
"yeah it's me. Are you rents home?" he called.
"Nope they just left like 20 min ago. Why aren't you with the rest of the group?" I asked.
"Why would i want to go out with them when i could spend time with you?" he said.
"The door is unlocked, just walk in. I'll be downstairs." I said
"Hey babe." he said as he kissed me. "I wrote a song for you." He started to sing.

'oh i love you Billie Joe!" I said as i wrapped my arms around him.
"i love you too." he said as he pulled me closer and we started to kiss. He laid (sp?) me on the couch and started to kiss me even more.
later on....we went to my room and continued to kiss some more on my bed. we then relaxed a little and started to talk. after that i fell asleep with my head resting on his chest. He then kissed my head and fell asleep too.
ALLY
We started to head towards the gig. Mike was holding my hand, and Jeff was holding Rina's. They were a cute couple, and now im glad that im with Mike so it wasn't so third-wheel.
"You are such a cutie." Mike whispered in my ear. It sent chills through my spine and i went with my impulsive side and kissed him.
"Right back at ya."I said as I playfully nudged him in the arm. We finally reached the gig place and we opened the doors.
"Where in the he*ll is everyone?" Jeff asked.
"I dunno.."I said.
"hey dude!" Mike said.
"Yeah.. what?" the dude said.
"What happened to The Riskettes? and where's everyone?" Mike replied.
"Well one of the band members broke his arm in a skateboarding accident, and it turns out he plays the lead guitar. So i guess they just canceled. Sorry kid." the dude said as he walked away.
"god this sucks." I said.
"So should we check in with Billie and his lover?"Rina said as she started to head back towards Catie's house.
LATER
We reached Catie's house and knocked on the door.
"You guys head inside, just walk in."Mike said. "I need some time with Ally."
"What is it Mike?" I said.
"I just wanted to say that I love you very much! and that i just wanted to share a moment with you tonight, alone, and..."he said as he pulled me down on the grass. We next next to each other for a while cuddling.
"I love you a lot too Mike." I said. After that he leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. I kissed him back. Then we ended up making out right in Billie's front yard. All of the sudden Rina and Jeff came running outside.
"You have to see this!"Rina said. "Whoa! You two...wowsas!"
"Ummm...were coming!" I said as i sat up. Mike pulled me down yet again and grabbed me close and kissed me on the neck. Then we both stood up and headed upstairs.
"What is it?" mike asked the couple.
"You'll see." Rina said as she opened the door. There was Catie lying on Billie's chest. He was sleeping while still stroking her hair.
"awwww!" I yelled. Mike cupped his hands over my mouth.
"Shhh... look." he said. We peered through the door and saw the cutest thing ever, well second...mike!
"I love you too much." Billie said still playing with Catie's hair.
"I love you too much too." She said as she looked up at him.
"hey guys!" Mike said as he opened the door. I was completely unprepared for that, cuz I was leaning on the door and i fell on their floor.
"Ummm..hey."Catie said. All of the sudden the phone rang.
"Hello." Catie said. 'mhhmmm, alright, see ya then."
"Who was that?" Billie asked.
"It was my dad, he's going to be here in 20 min. I think ya guys better go, he's still pretty clueless about US." she said.
"Can i stay over?" I asked.
"Yeah, im sure its fine." she said. "Well bye Rina, Jeff, and Mike."
"Yup bye bye Rina, Jeff, and Billie." Ally said.
"What about me??'Mike said nuzzling my neck again.
"You got to go sweetie." I said. I sounded like such a dork. "I love you." I said as I kissed him.
"I love ya too." he said as he returned the favor. Billie got up and they did the same routine and soon it was just me and Catie left in the room.
"Sooooo how was it?" she asked
"it was wonderful...."
CATIE
I woke up to find Ally already awake writing something on a piece of paper.
"Whatcha writing?"
"Uhhh its a song you sleepy head, i wanted to write one about what happened last night, like the feeling and stuff."
"Well maybe you should surprise Mike and sing him the song." i said giggling as i looked back at what Billie had done for me.
"Well maybe i should." Ally said. As soon as she said that i noticed something that made me laugh. I was pointing at her as i rolled around laughing.
"What!???! What!??!!"
"Your...*giggle* neck ..*giggle*...look!" I said as i pointed towards the mirror.
"Oh my God! Michael Dirnt!"
"He got ya pretty good, what did you guys all do..geez!"
"Well he was kissing me on the neck, but i didn't know it would be this bad!"
"Bring out the cover-up and turtle necks!" I yelled running to my bathroom to get some cover up.
"Catie we are different skin tones...."
"Well I'll grab my step mom's then!" I said now running to their bathroom. "Here ya go." i said handing Ally the cover-up.
"Well it looks a bit better. Oh well..."she said with a little smile on her face. I loved how Mike made her smile.
LATER ON THAT DAY
"See ya later!" I called out to Ally as she left the house. I went right back up to my room. I plopped down on my bed, i was so tired. Yet, all i could think of was Billie...He was just perfect. I grabbed my guitar and began to strum.

The words came out faster than expected so i grabbed the nearest paper and pencil and jotted down all i could think about. I was humming the tune and i put the words in. I loved it..all of the sudden my moment was interrupted by the phone ringing.
"Got it!" i yelled i as reached for the phone.
'Hello."
"Hey there." Billie said on the other line. My heart melted and i felt tongue-tied, i wasn't so good with talking to guys on the phone. "So hows it going?"
"Its good, well i just came up with a new song, well a beginning." I said. "How bout you?"
"Well I haven't done really anything. Well me and Mike want to see you guys again tonight. And also that's awesome that you came up with something...would you mind if i heard it?"
"Not at all." I said shaking because i knew my singing wasn't too good, but i couldn't say no to Billie! "My heart is beating from me, I am standing all alone...." I started to sing.
"Wow that is really good, well tell me when its done cuz i cant wait to hear the rest!" he said. I was happy to hear that he liked it.
"Well what should we do tonight, hopefully my dad will be more willing today."
"How 'bout we go to Jeff's party." he said.
"oh i forgot all about that! Well then of course i can go...well i better ask anyways. Just a minute."
"Alrighty." Billie said.
"Dad!"
"Yeah!"
"Is it alright if i go to Jeff's party? You know Jeff our drummer?!"
"Uhh...Sure! Are you going to sleep over at anyone's house?"
"Yeah probably Rina's our Ally's!"
"Alright, have fun."
"Ok im back." I said to Billie.
"So can you?" he asked.
"Yup i can....did Mike ask Ally yet?"
"Yeah like 10 min. ago..he had to go first."he said with sarcasm.
"Well I'll actually be over there in like 20 min, I'll pick up Ally on the way. See ya then." I said.
"Alrighty...I love you." he said.
"I love you too." I said with no hesitation. I hung up the phone and slipped on a black shirt that said "Matchbook Heights"(like the gig-place) and a black pair of pants. Applied(sp?) some eyeliner, tied my converses and ran out the door. I had $15 in my pocket, I've been saving but i felt like blowing it. I finally made it to Ally's, out of breath from running. I knocked on the door.
"Hello Catie..Ally's upstairs." her mom said as she let me inside. I made my way to Ally's room.
"Lo Ally." I said with a simple wave.
"Lo Catie."she said copying my gesture(sp?) "Hey did you know that Jeff invited that new kid, Jimmy?"
"No, i didn't even know that there was a new kid." I said.
"Well he's like us, so maybe we'll have a new addition to our little 'team', i also heard he is like a rebel and a quiet guy, but he'll be kool."she said as we started to leave the house.
"Billie and Mike are expecting us.."I said smiling. Ally smiled back. She loved Mike as much as I loved Billie....which was a lot. We knocked on the guys' door.
"Hello you babes." Mike said. "Come in, come in."
"Hey Billie." I said hugging him.
"Hey to you." he said kissing my forehead. Uhh...he was just so...so lovable!
CATIE
So we started to head off to the party.
"Lets race to his house!" Billie said as he scooped me up and started running. I tried to hard not to freak out, how in the world was this kid so strong?
"Beat ya!" said Mike as he set Ally down on Jeff's porch.
"Just walk in!" Rina called in from behind us as she stepped out of her brother's car. We stepped in and found tons of kids rocking out to Jeff's drum beats.
"Oww!" I yelled like a complete idiot. The party must have just started because the house was still in good condition.
LATER ON
The party was rockin' I mean I was so tired out from jumping around...After the party we headed out the door.
"Wait a second Ally, Catie. Get over here!" Jeff called out. So me and Ally headed towards him. "I'd like you to meet my good friend Jimmy. Sure first impressions are deceiving, but this kid blew me away..his hair, make-up, clothes everything was soo..hott.
"Uhhh Hi." Ally said as she shook his hand and never let go. Jimmy looked at her confused.
"Uhh hey." he replied back as he dropped his grip. He turned towards me and shook my hand.
"Hey Catie."he said as he looked at me.
"uhh hey...Jimmy." i said uneasily. How did he know my name? God i was confused.
"Well these girls were just heading out so tata for now!" Jeff called to us as we walked out.
"That Jimmy kid...wow." Ally said as she pushed the screen door open to find Mike and Billie sitting on the porch.
"Hey ladies." Mike said as he wrapped him arm around Ally. Billie followed Mike's gesture and did the same for me. We walked and talked until we arrived at Ally's.
"Bye, I love you." Billie said.
"I love you too." I said as I kissed Billie. I made my was up to Ally's room and plopped onto the bed. Ally plopped right next to me.
"I don't know why...but i can't help not thinking about Jimmy." Ally said.
"Weird..cuz it's the same for me." I said quietly.
"There's something about him that attracts me to him so much!" I called out.
"Me too!!!" Ally yelled. We giggled like little schoolgirls. But then i thought about Billie...
"Well I still love Billie to bits!" I said.
"Well I still love Mike to bits!" Ally said. She then turned out the lights as we fell asleep that night, and i had a dream that freaked me out:

"Why the hell do i love you so much?" I cried out to a black figure. I was sitting under a bridge. I looked at my watch it was midnight.
"Because it just turned out that way." he said whispering into my ear, then gently kissing my cheek.
"You love me back right?"
"No doubt, we will love each other forever....even if we had to stay in this God forsaken town.
"You are like my Jesus..."I said kissing him. And then all of the sudden the black figure was Jimmy.

I woke up in a sweat. What did this dream mean, I turned and found Ally sleeping. I looked at the clock it was 4:00 A.M.
"Dammit" I said out loud. Then I heard someone talking. It was Ally. I listened closer to what she was saying so i could tease her about it in the morning.
"I don't know why..I..*mumble*..love...you...Jeff." she murmured(sp?) in her sleep. I didn't know what to think of it, were we both out for other guys? My stomach was filled with self-hate....
"My dad thinks that I need to drop this whole "rebel" thing and be a goody-good." I said as I threw a rock across the road.
"My mom agrees, she even threatened to take my bass away from me if I didn't stop wearing black all the time." Ally said with a sigh. By the way we had our own band, I was lead guitar, she was bass, and one of those normie boys, Jeff"Twit"Jones, was our drummer. We called ourselves...'The Best Thing to Happen'.
"Yeah, I just sometimes want to go live on my own..like that one kid that moved in with that kid not too long ago......"I said soon being cut off by my Dad calling me in to do homework.
"Can I come with to "study" with ya?" Ally said with a smirk.
"Yeah no problem...." I said as I sat up as slow as I could possibly take. We ran to her house to get her homework. Then we came to my house and we went to my room right away to finish up our homework. After that we went to her house to practice our "weapons of mass destruction"...a.k.a. our instruments.
"I'm going to sleep overnight here tonight. Ill call my dad to ask, I really can't stand another night there." I said as I picked up the phone and started dialing my home phone number.
"Alrighty then, listen to this awesome new song I came up with." Ally said as she started to sing a new song.
"Sounds cool....ummm what's it called?" I said while waiting for my dad to pick up.
"I've been waiting to long.' is the name of it" she said as she hummed it. I could tell that she really liked it, I did too.
"My dad said it was all right, ill just pick my things up in the morning." I said. After that we continued to strum our gee-tars....
I woke up and realized that it was 7:45 and I had 15 min. to get to school. I freaked out and ran home to get dressed. I slipped on my long sleeved black shirt and black pants with my stud belt. I brushed my hair and grabbed my backpack and ran back to Ally's. She grabbed her bag and we were soon running to school. I was so lucky I had like every class with her, except Science and English. We ran to our first hour, Geography. The bell rang as soon as we reached the back of the classroom. All of sudden two kids with dark brown hair ran into the class.
"Late." the teacher said with a stern voice.
"Since when are we not."? One of the kids said. He was wearing a red sweatshirt, it looked worn. He also wore black pants that seemed a bit tight. He even had the same black converses as me.
"He's so cool." I said to Ally.
"I think his name is Billie Joe, but some people call him Billie. I like his friend." she said. I looked over at Billie; he was talking to his friend.
His friend was a little taller than him. He wore a black t-shirt that looked like its been lying on his floor for awhile. He wore the same black pants as Billie. He had red and white converses. By the way converses were quite popular with the normies.
"I never really noticed them. I mean I have seen them around, but it seems that I have really NOTICED them now. They are "normies too Ally, that is so cool. I wonder if we should ask them to sit with us." I said as the teacher started to prepare for what he was going to say. By the way our little group consisted of me, Ally, Jeff, Tyler, Georgia...a.k.a. Georgy, and her best friend (the only other normie girl left) Rina. There was another guy his name was Fredrick, but he hung out with other people, but we were still questioning if he was a normie or not.
"Well you probably didn't notice them because we normally just look for our normie friends, and they aren't in class that much, and if they are they are late." Ally said as she started to take out her assignment.
"Girls in the back, pay attention. And Billie and Mike, just zip it for once." the teacher said as he started to write down the new assignment on the board. I wondered if that teacher had eyes in the back of his head and ears that could hear everything. No matter what he could tell if we were talking or if we were about to.
The bell rang and we walked out of class. I ran down to Science and was actually early, thank god. I sat next to Rina who was writing a note to Jeff. She was going out with Jeff. They were inseparable; sometimes Jeff would skip practice to be with her. Or he would bring her with, which was good because sometimes we needed a critic.
"Ok class sit down and turn to page 65. Read it and I will be passing out a paper with the directions and the graph that you will be filling out."
I started to read right and realized we were doing a lab. Ugh that meant I had to be partners with some loser, or maybe ill get Rina. But that normally never happens.
"Ok I will be giving you a partner and after you will follow the directions on how to do the lab. And don't forget to stay safe!" he said enthusiastically as if we cared.
"Rina and Harley. Mike and Fred. Jenn and Haley....blahblahblah..Billie and Catie." my heart jumped. I looked over at Billie and Mike. Mike nudged Billie in the arm. Billie blushed and I knew I was too...
Rina nudged me in the shoulder just like Mike did to Billie. "Hey!" I said to Rina,"I don't even like him!"
"I'm so sure, that's why your face is as red as ever! And plus your trembling, and I know you only do that when your around boys you like, like remember Tyler?" she said with the slyest look.
"Yeah, but that was like last year, and anyways I thought that...well..."I was speechless and I guess he was right behind me.
"Go get 'em"Rina whispered in my ear. I hit her immediately after that.
"So you're Catie...right? Billie said with such confidence as if he knew how nervous I was.
"Yeah..your Billie then?" I said pretending not to know who he was. "I think you're in all of my classes. And your friends with Mike Dirnt...someone that I know likes him." I said, god I ramble on way too much!
"Yeah that's me!" he said as he pointed with his thumb to himself. "And yes that's Mike." he said as he pointed over at Mike. Mike smiled and soon got back to screwing around. "Hey, Mikes open ya know. He just broke up with some chick, it was his first girlfriend....."he said as he sighed sarcastically. "But I can ask him out for this "girl", well I know its you."
"No way! Not saying Mike is bad or anything, but it is seriously for my friend....well that girl I know." I said feeling dumb for practically giving it away.
"O your little friend...ummm...Alyssa?" he said as we walked back to the table to get started with the assignment.
"Close enough, her name is Ally. And don't tell him, because she barely even knows him." I said with caution in my voice. I looked down at what we had to do, how easy I thought in my head. I still have time to chat with Billie.
"I wont, I promise. It'll be our little secret.," he said. I practically fainted, 'our little secret', we had secrets together! "So anyways this is really easy, lets finish it up and chat after."
So we started and got done. I never would of thought someone who was never in class that much knew so much. "So Billie, are you dating anyone?" my friend Rina said as she came up from behind us.
"As a matter of fact...no..Im not....I really haven't." he said. My heart jumped again, he's single, and he has never really dated, how awesome! And another thing is Mike is open for Ally! This one of the many few "descent" (how ever u spell it) days of school.
"Hey Billie....."Mike came up next to Billie. "And Mike..would you want to sit with us at lunch, I mean we need more people like you at our table...and your so cool...and.."I said being cut off by Mike.
"Of course!" Mike said with a smile. I felt a sudden wave of relief; I finally got it over with.
The bell rang and I ran straight to the next class...health. As I was walking to class I told Ally all about it.
"Are you serious! You told Billie that I liked mike!!!???!!!" Ally said as she was staring at me in disbelief.
"Hey he wont tell trust me." I said trying to calm her down.
"Oh yeah im going to trust Billie Joe with that..."
"With what?" I familiar voice asked. It was Billie Joe.
"Well Miss Loudmouth told you that I liked Mike." Ally said.
"She did, she did. And now you just made it more clear that you do." he said smiling." And now Mike knows too."
"What do you mean Billie? I said confused.
"Ummm Hey guys.."a voice said behind us. I turned around and it was Mike......
Ally's face turned so red that it made me burst out into laughter. But then she said something I would have never expected her to say.
"Of course I do..why wouldn't I? Isn't he the coolest thing ever?"
"Awww look at Mike he's smiling." Billie said as he pushed Mike towards Ally. "Come on look at the worlds cutest couple!" Billie said as Mike inched more and more closer to Ally.
I ran up to Mike and pulled him aside. "So Mr.Dirnt do you fancy my friend Ally? I asked him glancing at Ally as she tried to pretend I wasn't doing this. "I mean she's got it all, the looks, the talent, I mean you should here her play her bass..Wow!" I said.
"You play bass?" Billie asked Ally.
"Yeah I do, and my friend Catie here plays the gee-tar." she said smiling at me.
"Sweet, I play guitar too."Billie said flashing me the cutest smile.
"And I play bass. But we got to get to class you guys, the bell is going to ring soon." Mike said. And as soon as he said it the bell rang and we found ourselves running to class.
"Welcome, normally students come in class BEFORE the bell. Mrs. Fulton explained to us.
"It's always those punks that cause trouble. They were probably out smoking a dubie."The biggest school sl*ut said to the whole class, her name was Karly May. We all hated her. And hopefully Mike and Billie did too. The whole class laughed with her as we seated ourselves to the back of the room.
"what a bi*tch."Billie said, as he looked over at me to find me looking not so me. "Are you ok Catie?" Billie asked. Eeek he cares!
"Yeah, fine, I just hate her so much!" I said. Ally nodded along with me. All of the sudden a note was thrown on to my desk. I started to read it. It said:

"Mike..."I whispered.
"Yeah....?"He whispered back.
I just nodded my head. And the hugest smile grew on his face.
Lunch Time:
SO Mike and Ally were an item now. Aww how cute. I sat next to Billie at lunch. It meant nothing, because I knew that he would never like me.
"Hey Catie."Mike said with food in his mouth.
'Yup.....what do ya need?" I said fiddling around with my hair.
"Can Billie and me go over to one of your guys' houses tonight? You know to practice, maybe start a cool friendship.," he asked with the most innocent look in his eyes.
"Ummm how bout at my house. I got I nice studio, well my basement, and my dad is going to be gone for most of the night." I said making sure that Ally agreed.
"Alrighty then." Ally said. 'But you still have to pick up your guitar when I go and get mine. And are you boys just going to walk home with us then?" Ally asked.
"Yeah."Billie and Mike said in unison.
I was so happy I could barely eat.
So the last school bell rang and we ran to our lockers and grabbed everything that we could. I liked and hated Fridays...it meant no more school..But they pilled on the homework way too much! Anyways I ran to Ally's locker and Mike was already they're just staring at her. I knew that he liked her...and it is sooo cute! They hugged and we started making our way to Billie's locker. He looked up at me with his green eyes....and I just got lost in them.
"So Catie are we ready to hit the old dusty trail?" Billie said with the cutest smile. Ok what can I say everything about him made me so madly in love with him. And I barely even knew him! But I felt like we were old friends.
"Of course we are Sir Billie." I said. Oh my god....I'm making such a fool out of myself. Mike put his arm around Ally. God they must already be so far in their relationship...hello it's been one day!
So we started to head towards Ally's house and we told the boys to stay inside because Ally's mom was home. So we ran inside and grabbed our guitars and headed out as fast as possible.
"You guys were fast." Mike said still staring at Ally. I think its so cute them...together.
"Well if my mom knew I was going to Catie's to hangout with my boyfriend." Mike blushed and smiles she said that." She would have never let me go."
"And she would have told my dad that I was having people over with out his permission. Sorry but we have really strict parents." I said as we came to my door. "Don't mind if it's a little messy." I said as we headed for the basement. "Ummm you guys just get settled...me and Ally will go and get the snacks and stuff." After I said that me and Ally headed upstairs.
"So how are you and Mike?" I asked Ally.
" We are doing good..I think I'm in love." she said as she sighed and sarcastically put his hand on her head. "And he wrote me a note saying that he wants me to go over to his house tomorrow to hangout."
"ooooOoOh Ally!" I said as I grabbed some sodas and a bag of chips. "You totally should...I can tell he really likes you Ally! And it's just so darn cute!" We started to head down the hallway towards the basement stairs.
"Well you know Billie likes you..right?" Ally said as she looked at me. I nearly dropped the stuff in my hands as she said that.
"he...he..he does?" I said in complete shock. I was getting really anxious now.
"Well yeah...Mike told me after lunch when you went to your locker and Billie was in the bathroom. Mike said that Billie thinks your super cool and that he really likes you. And he has for a while. He's just been a little too nervous to speak up and junk." she said as if i was totally clueless.
"Wow..and I thought he was Mr. Confident. Oh my god." After that term of shock we started downstairs. It was kind of fun now knowing that he liked me and all.
"Yummy chips and soda." Mike and Billie said at the same time.
"So are you guys ready to show off your mad gee-tar skills?" I said looking at the guys.
"Yup." Mike said.
"O Sh*it! I forgot my guitar at my house. I was going to try to get it as soon as we started to head to your house.
"So should we go and get it? " I asked Billie.
'Yeah...but we don't all have to go...ill just go by myself and get it. You guys can stay here, so you can still see Mike show off and stuff." he said. I thought it over and came up with a plan.
"Hey Billie." I said ushering him over by me. "Come here for a sec." I said as he ran over.
"Yeah what is it Catie?"He asked.
" Well how bout I go with you and we can leave Mike and Ally here together." I said with a wink.
"Good Plan."Bille said. So Billie made sure it was all right with Mike. And of course Mike didn't mind at all. And Ally didn't either.
"Hey Catie...come here." Ally said.
'Yeah what is it?" I asked impatiently.
"Go get 'em Tiger." she said as she growled. I blushed and tried to ignore what she had just said. So now me and Billie we off on our little adventure to go and get his guitar. WE made our way out the door. It was already getting dark..I was glad I went with him.
"My house isn't too far from here. Just a quick walk." Billie said. As soon as he said that a car rush up and nearly hit me. Billie grabbed me close...and I nearly fainted in his arms.
"Ummm sorry bout that." Billie said as he blushed." Your ok.right?"
"Yup..im fine now." I said as I smiled and looked up at him. He smiled back..and then I got lost in his marvelously green eyes.
ALLY
I sat there just staring at Mike playing his bass.... I never met someone who was so good at bass. "Wow that was really good Mike, I wish I could do something like THAT!" I said as I punched him playfully in the arm. I've never been so close to a guy...and I liked him soooo much!
"Thanks Ally." he said as his innocent eyes sparked with such blueness...if that even made since. "ummmm would you want me to teach you?" he said.
"Sure, as long as you want to." I said. I wonder if Catie and Billie are getting close..
"Of course I want to." he said as he placed my bass around me and he situated his self behind me. "Ok you put your fingers here and then here." he said as he put his hand on my hands moving my fingers to the spots where I was supposed to play.
"I think I'm starting to get it." I said as I then turned around and looked at Mike. He then blushed....it was super cute. 'Ok wait a second Ally...control yourself we've been dating for one day..slow down.; I thought to myself. But before i could continue debating Mike moved in and kissed me. I kissed him back. And then we just ending up kissing each other back a lot...and i just got lost in it....
CATIE
After that close encounter with death we made our way to his house. Even though i knew that he liked me...i kept doubting it and making the situation even more uncomfortable for myself.
"We..are...here." Billie said panting as he reached the door. Everywhere here in San Francisco was all practically up hill. "Do you want to wait out here or just come inside?" he said as he looked at me. i could tell that he wanted me to come with.
"Ill go with you." i said.
"Ok well we'll be going upstairs to my room so you can head up there right away. I'll be up there in a bit." he said as we entered the house. I made my way up to his room and sat on his bed. "wow" i said out loud. The room was so much like mine. And i then spotted his guitar. It was blue with stickers all over it. 'pretty unique' i thought to myself. My guitar was just the original black and white with a red sticker that had a C on it....for my first name.
"So do you like?" Billie asked as he sat down next to me.
"Yeah..It's kind of like my room. But yours is so much cooler." i said to him. I looked at him out of the corner of my eye. I saw that he was staring at me. My face turned suddenly very red. He then scooted close to me and then he flinched and got up to get his guitar.
"Umm so are you ready to go?" he asked as he started to head out the door.
"Yeah..." i said in disappointment. But at least we can get back to Mike and Ally. We started to walk outside and he then grabbed my hand.
"ummm can i show you something?" he said as he pulled me towards the other end of town where there was a clearing.
"Uh sure." I said unsure about where we were going. He started to go into the more woodsy edge of town. We walked until we reached the semi-private like clearing. He sat down and set his guitar down. I sat down next to him.
"ummm i know that I've only known you for a day..but i guess i wanted to tell you here. uhhhh i like you....lots. you are just like me and i just want to ask you...will you go out with me?" he said looking at his feet nervously. i didn't know what to do. i was in shock and he was so straight forward.
"Yes I will Billie Joe." i said as i looked into his eyes and smiled. He then leaned in for a hug and i hugged him. It seemed to have lasted forever. After that we looked at each other i he then kissed me and i kissed him. It was perfect.
After all that lovin we headed home. We were holding hands and walking. So much has happened in a day....well actually in an hour! I was happier then ever. We reached my house. I was glad to see that my dad wasn't home yet. We walked downstairs and my eyes opened in shock. There was Mike and Ally kissing....
"Oh...hey guys." Mike said. He stopped kissing Ally.
"Ally can i talk to you?" i said as i ushered here upstairs.
"We'll leave you men alone." Ally said as she got up and started to walk up the stairs. "So what is it Catie?"
"ummm Ally what have you guys been doing?" i asked as i raised an eyebrow.
Ally laughed and said." Well he was teaching me this little bass jingle and we kind of got close. and he moved in for a kiss and i kissed him back. and we ended up kissing back and forth to the point of making out. which is so unlike me...but i really like him!" she said out of breath because she was talking so much. "O yeah and what did you guys do?" she said mocking me with the whole eyebrow thing.
"well we went to his house. And then he wanted to take a walk with me. We sat down at this clearing...you know towards that woodsy end of town? Ally nodded." Well he took me there and he spilled it all out to me....and he asked me out."
"Well what did you say?" Ally asked eager to hear the rest.
"Well of course i said yes. And then we hugged. And after that we kissed and kissed a little bit more. And i guess we walked home hand in hand. i guess i may really....really like him." I said as Ally smiled and hugged me.
"O that is soooo awesome!" she said as we headed downstairs. After that everyone took of their instruments and showed off.
ALLY
After our little "battle of the bands"...,which their little band is really good! a lot better than we are....but they said that they would help us out, we walked the guys home. Catie and Billie held hands..my gosh they are too cute. I smiled at Mike...he was looking at them too. Then i whispered in his ear." Lets wait till they get a little bit more ahead of us...you know so we can talk and stuff."
"Alright."Mike said really close to my ear..i could almost feel his lips on my ear...i shivered. So we started walking really slowly. "Its so nice out tonight. you can actually see the stars." Mike said. I could tell he was looking at me so i looked at him and he kissed me on my nose. "I love you." he said. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest.
"I..."I looked into his eyes and felt something really amazing. "I love you too." I finally said. Do i really though..is it to soon? Will it last? Yes i love Mike...and he loves me back.
CATIE
Wow they were really good with their music. I loved all of their songs..we could really learn from them! "Hey Ally I guess you can learn a lot more then how to play bass from Mike." I said. I waited for an answer. I turned around,"Ally?"i called out. "Oh i see she's with Mike back there." i said to Billie.
"I guess they want more time alone." he said looking back with me.'Well at least this gives us some more time alone." He said winking at me.
'I guess it does." I said winking back at him. I kissed him and we ended up kissing a lot. We reached his house and he softly put me against the wall and started to kiss me even more.
"I love you.."he said under the muffles of kisses.
"I love you too." I said. But then as I was kissing i was thinking do i really? But then i really thought about what i was doing and the feeling i get when im around him. So yes...i love Billie Joe and he loves me.
"Sorry but i got to go." he said as he kissed me on the cheek. I hugged him and watched him walk up the stairs to his door. "Bye." he said as he blew me a kiss. I blew him a kiss right back. Right after that i saw Mike and Ally give each other a last kiss and Mike made his way inside.
"I saw everything." Ally said as we made our way home. "Wow you guys moved along FAST." she said winking.
"Yes we did." I said agreeing(sp?)"And he even said he loved me...and said that i did right back." I said smiling and replaying the moment.
"Same here!" Ally said as her eyes got really big." I love Mike sooo much. And he's a good kisser." she said as she snickered. We made it to her house and she walked up the stairs singing a song about Mike. I laughed and said,"Dont forget to get your bass tomorrow!"
"I wont! Good night...Mrs.Armstrong!"she yelled.
"Goodnight Mrs.Pritchard..slash Dirnt!" i yelled back. She shut the door and i made my way home. I ran to my room and went to bed. I was so ecstatic(sp?) I couldn't even get to sleep.....
CATIE
I woke up and looked at the alarm clock..."Holy Shi*t its 7:45!" I got up and practically jumped into my clothes, i grabbed my book bag and i was out the door. Ally was already at the school doors, i ran to catch up to her. "Ally!!! Wait up!" I yelled.
"Come on..i got to see Mike!" Ally yelled jokingly. I finally caught up to her.
"Lets go to our locker and then I have to put on some friggin eyeliner!" i said as i ran to my locker grabbing my books and eyeliner out of the bag.
"Hurry up, we only have like 5 min to get to class!" Ally said as we rushed into the bathroom.
"Im trying." I said as i looked into mirror applying my eyeliner.
After looking alright we headed towards the Geography room. We opened the door and to our surprise we found Billie and Mike already in their seats. We made our way to our seats and the teacher gave us yet another look.
"You guys got lucky." He said as he made his way to the front of the classroom, then the bell rang.
"See, we had PLENTY of time Ally." I said sarcastically.
"Well we got lucky, just as he said we did." she said laughing. "Well thank god it's Friday. And im glad we have Monday off to!"
"I can't agree more." I said soon to be interrupted by the teachers meaningless words.
"We will be watching a video today, and i expect that everyone talked notes and stays on task. i also expect that everyone gets it turned in by the end of the hour.
"O joy another one of those da*mn movies." Ally said as she started to pull out her notebook.
"Well at least this gives me time to write a note to Rina to tell her about last night." I said as I also pulled out my notebook.
"Hey did you know that there is going to be a gig at the 'Matchbook Heights' place? And Rina and Jeff are going, so we should go too. And you know who i mean by WE." she said hinting over to Billie and Mike who were just fooling around.
'Yes i know who you mean. Well i know i can go tonight, and i bet you can go to. So you should write a note to Mike asking them if they want to go tonight with us. Come on. It'll be fun."
"Well of course i will!" Ally said as she started to write the note. I soon finished up my note and folded it up. I then started to jot down some notes, i was doing it because if my dad sees me with one bad grade, he'll kill me. I looked over at Ally and saw that she was doing the same thing. Her mom is also as strict as my dad.
Soon after..the bell rang. "See ya in Health Ally!" I said as i headed towards Science. All of the sudden someone picked me up and turned me around and kissed me on the cheek.
"Hey there." Billie said as he smiled. I blushed and felt a sudden burst of happiness.
"well hey there to you too." I said as we walked to Science together soon followed by Mike.
"I got a note from Ally!" Mike said as he sarcastically skipped around like a little kid. "She's so sweet!" he said as he came up to Billie with a huge grin on his face.
This almost seemed to good to be true.....and i somehow knew something was going to screw it all up.
ALLY
I was sitting in class just thinking about Mike...nothing new. All of the sudden Karly comes up to me and stares me down.
"So i heard you were with Mike Pritchard..Dinrt."she said with a smirk.
"Yeah I am...soo."I said as i looked away from her trying to find someone to talk to other than her.
"Well he's actually not only dating you...he's dating my friend Felicity. I know..Scandle (sp?) huh?"she said as she looked away. As soon as i heard that i was more pissed than i was sad. It seemed like forever until the bell rang. as soon as it did I ran to Catie's locker trying to avoid the stares.
"Oh My God...are you ok? what in the he*ll happened to you?" Catie said as she hugged me.
"That bast*ard!"Ally said as she started to head for the bathrooms.
"Who are you talking about." Catie said in shock.
"Mike...."I said wiping my eyes.
"Why?"Catie in disbelief(sp?).
"Well Karly told me that her friend, Felicity, was going out with Mike too." I said trying to control my tears.
"Oh my god."Catie said as she walked me to the health room.
"Do i look O.K.?"I asked.
"Yes, you like fine. I can't even tell that you were crying."Catie said.
"Hey girlies."Billie said as he wrapped his arm around Catie.
"Where's Mike?"Catie asked Billie.
"I think he started to head to the Health room already. He said that someone was meeting him there early, nothing important though." Billie said looking at the both of us.
"Well we...well actually I need to speak to him."Catie said.
"Alrighty..well what about?" Billie asked Catie.
"Something that is only between us 3, you'll now sooner or later."Catie said as she opened the door to the Health room.
"Alrighty."Billie said as he made his way to his seat. I sat down next to Catie and looked around for Mike. He saw me and smiled...I just turned back to talk to Catie. All of the sudden i saw Karly go over to Mike and put her arm around him and nodded in the direction of Felicity. I thought i was going to throw up. I ran to the front of the room.
"I need a pass." I asked the teacher.
"take this one, but hurry up." she said handing me the pass.
CATIE
Ally ran out the door...I turned to look at Mike. I saw Mike trying to get Karly away from him.
"What the he*ll are you doing???"Mike said as he looked at Karly in disbelief.
"You know you like her."Karly said to mike.
"Whatever..just leave me alone." Mike said facing Billie. I walked over to Mike's desk.
"What the he*ll is all this I have heard about you and Felicity?" I asked Mike.
"Well she is my ex and Karly is trying to get me with her again..and i have no intentions." Mike said with a very serious and pissed look on his face.
"O...well Ally heard..and yeah."I said looking around nervously.
"Well i have to tell her the truth..cuz i thought she was mad at me." Mike said. Ally came back. I ushered her over to me and Mike. And lets just say it all worked out in the end. After the bell rang we made our way to lunch. I knew that something would go wrong....but now what's going to happened to me....
CATIE
So we made our way to lunch. Awww Mike and Ally were making up, i never want to see that happen to Ally again.
"Sit next to me Catie! Sit next to me!" Billie called jokingly.
"of course i will." I said as i sat down next to him. He then kissed me on the cheek.
"So would you want to do something tonight? like go to that gig place?" Billie asked me with a mouthful of food.
"Sure. Mike did you read that note that Ally gave you?" I asked.
'Yup, so now we're going on a big group date!" Mike said hugging Ally.
"We'll meet you guys at Ally's house."Rina said. John nodded along with it.
I can't wait for tonight....
LATER, AFTER SCHOOL
CATIE
So we told the guys to meet as back at Ally's at 6. After that we made our way to my house to get ready for tonight.
"I'm so hyped for tonight! I mean like spending all night with the guys that we love!" Ally said.
"Sh*it! I still got to ask my dad about tonight! Did you ask your mom?" I asked.
'Yeah, i called her with the school phone in the munch room." she said pushing me out of the bathroom. "now go ask your dad so we can f*ucking do this!" I calmly walked to the living room where my dad was watching football.
"Uhhh Dad do you think i can go out with some friends to the Matchbook Heights tonight, we'll be back before midnight." I asked.
"I don't think so. You still haven't done any of your chores, and you just hung out with your friends last night. Just take a break for tonite."He said.
"What??!!?? Urgh you can be so difficult, its Friday i have to go out!"I yelled.
"Well you're not going to, and if you ask again, you're going to be in bigger trouble. So my final answer is no, so no further comments. good bye now." he said still facing the tube.
"Fine!" I said as i ran back to the bathroom.
"I heard it all Catie. Im sorry." she said hugging me. I looked at the clock, it was 5:30.
"You might as well head to Mike's and tell them that i can't go." I said.
"Alrighty, but maybe tomorrow we can go out." she said.
ALLY
I headed towards Mike's house. I had a plan. I knocked on the door.
"hey-lo!" Mike said hugging me and carrying me all the way to Billie's room. "Billie is trying to find a song that he wrote for Catie, he wants to play it for her."
"Awww that's so sweet Billie, and its perfect for tonight." I said.
"By the way, where's Catie?" Mike asked.
"She can't come." I said. "but can i use your phone?"
"Yeah..sure."Billie said, he looked so down. Well wait till he hears what i came up with.
"Hello."Catie said on the other line.
"Hey there Catie, its Ally calling from your lovers house." I said. Billie giggled like a school girl.
"Was that Billie?"Catie asked.
"Yeah it was.' I said laughing.
"O cute." she said laughing. "So what do ya need?"Catie asked.
"Are your parents going to be home tonight?"
"Ummm I don't think so. My little sister is going to her friend's house. And my step mom and my dad are going out." she said. "So I'll be here alone."
"Oh, OK. That's all i needed to know." i said. "Well bye."
"Yup bye."catie said.
"So why did you call her to ask if her parents were home tonite?"Billie asked.
"I've got a plan." I said ushering the boys over." We'll need your guitar Billie..and that song. Also some kick-a*ss vocals from ya too." I said. Catie was going to love me for this......
CATIE
'Bye!" I yelled from my room. My parents were leaving the house. I started to play my guitar. After awhile i set my guitar down. I looked at the clock, 8:00. They have already been there for an hour. Well at least Ally can have fun. I relaxed on my bed flipping through a guitar mag, when all of the sudden something flew through my window.
'What the he*ll?"I said." Well at least my window was open. I looked over at the object and saw it was a rock. I then looked outside and saw something that made my heart melt....
"Billie?!?" I yelled.
"yeah it's me. Are you rents home?" he called.
"Nope they just left like 20 min ago. Why aren't you with the rest of the group?" I asked.
"Why would i want to go out with them when i could spend time with you?" he said.
"The door is unlocked, just walk in. I'll be downstairs." I said
"Hey babe." he said as he kissed me. "I wrote a song for you." He started to sing.

'oh i love you Billie Joe!" I said as i wrapped my arms around him.
"i love you too." he said as he pulled me closer and we started to kiss. He laid (sp?) me on the couch and started to kiss me even more.
later on....we went to my room and continued to kiss some more on my bed. we then relaxed a little and started to talk. after that i fell asleep with my head resting on his chest. He then kissed my head and fell asleep too.
ALLY
We started to head towards the gig. Mike was holding my hand, and Jeff was holding Rina's. They were a cute couple, and now im glad that im with Mike so it wasn't so third-wheel.
"You are such a cutie." Mike whispered in my ear. It sent chills through my spine and i went with my impulsive side and kissed him.
"Right back at ya."I said as I playfully nudged him in the arm. We finally reached the gig place and we opened the doors.
"Where in the he*ll is everyone?" Jeff asked.
"I dunno.."I said.
"hey dude!" Mike said.
"Yeah.. what?" the dude said.
"What happened to The Riskettes? and where's everyone?" Mike replied.
"Well one of the band members broke his arm in a skateboarding accident, and it turns out he plays the lead guitar. So i guess they just canceled. Sorry kid." the dude said as he walked away.
"god this sucks." I said.
"So should we check in with Billie and his lover?"Rina said as she started to head back towards Catie's house.
LATER
We reached Catie's house and knocked on the door.
"You guys head inside, just walk in."Mike said. "I need some time with Ally."
"What is it Mike?" I said.
"I just wanted to say that I love you very much! and that i just wanted to share a moment with you tonight, alone, and..."he said as he pulled me down on the grass. We next next to each other for a while cuddling.
"I love you a lot too Mike." I said. After that he leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. I kissed him back. Then we ended up making out right in Billie's front yard. All of the sudden Rina and Jeff came running outside.
"You have to see this!"Rina said. "Whoa! You two...wowsas!"
"Ummm...were coming!" I said as i sat up. Mike pulled me down yet again and grabbed me close and kissed me on the neck. Then we both stood up and headed upstairs.
"What is it?" mike asked the couple.
"You'll see." Rina said as she opened the door. There was Catie lying on Billie's chest. He was sleeping while still stroking her hair.
"awwww!" I yelled. Mike cupped his hands over my mouth.
"Shhh... look." he said. We peered through the door and saw the cutest thing ever, well second...mike!
"I love you too much." Billie said still playing with Catie's hair.
"I love you too much too." She said as she looked up at him.
"hey guys!" Mike said as he opened the door. I was completely unprepared for that, cuz I was leaning on the door and i fell on their floor.
"Ummm..hey."Catie said. All of the sudden the phone rang.
"Hello." Catie said. 'mhhmmm, alright, see ya then."
"Who was that?" Billie asked.
"It was my dad, he's going to be here in 20 min. I think ya guys better go, he's still pretty clueless about US." she said.
"Can i stay over?" I asked.
"Yeah, im sure its fine." she said. "Well bye Rina, Jeff, and Mike."
"Yup bye bye Rina, Jeff, and Billie." Ally said.
"What about me??'Mike said nuzzling my neck again.
"You got to go sweetie." I said. I sounded like such a dork. "I love you." I said as I kissed him.
"I love ya too." he said as he returned the favor. Billie got up and they did the same routine and soon it was just me and Catie left in the room.
"Sooooo how was it?" she asked
"it was wonderful...."
CATIE
I woke up to find Ally already awake writing something on a piece of paper.
"Whatcha writing?"
"Uhhh its a song you sleepy head, i wanted to write one about what happened last night, like the feeling and stuff."
"Well maybe you should surprise Mike and sing him the song." i said giggling as i looked back at what Billie had done for me.
"Well maybe i should." Ally said. As soon as she said that i noticed something that made me laugh. I was pointing at her as i rolled around laughing.
"What!???! What!??!!"
"Your...*giggle* neck ..*giggle*...look!" I said as i pointed towards the mirror.
"Oh my God! Michael Dirnt!"
"He got ya pretty good, what did you guys all do..geez!"
"Well he was kissing me on the neck, but i didn't know it would be this bad!"
"Bring out the cover-up and turtle necks!" I yelled running to my bathroom to get some cover up.
"Catie we are different skin tones...."
"Well I'll grab my step mom's then!" I said now running to their bathroom. "Here ya go." i said handing Ally the cover-up.
"Well it looks a bit better. Oh well..."she said with a little smile on her face. I loved how Mike made her smile.
LATER ON THAT DAY
"See ya later!" I called out to Ally as she left the house. I went right back up to my room. I plopped down on my bed, i was so tired. Yet, all i could think of was Billie...He was just perfect. I grabbed my guitar and began to strum.

The words came out faster than expected so i grabbed the nearest paper and pencil and jotted down all i could think about. I was humming the tune and i put the words in. I loved it..all of the sudden my moment was interrupted by the phone ringing.
"Got it!" i yelled i as reached for the phone.
'Hello."
"Hey there." Billie said on the other line. My heart melted and i felt tongue-tied, i wasn't so good with talking to guys on the phone. "So hows it going?"
"Its good, well i just came up with a new song, well a beginning." I said. "How bout you?"
"Well I haven't done really anything. Well me and Mike want to see you guys again tonight. And also that's awesome that you came up with something...would you mind if i heard it?"
"Not at all." I said shaking because i knew my singing wasn't too good, but i couldn't say no to Billie! "My heart is beating from me, I am standing all alone...." I started to sing.
"Wow that is really good, well tell me when its done cuz i cant wait to hear the rest!" he said. I was happy to hear that he liked it.
"Well what should we do tonight, hopefully my dad will be more willing today."
"How 'bout we go to Jeff's party." he said.
"oh i forgot all about that! Well then of course i can go...well i better ask anyways. Just a minute."
"Alrighty." Billie said.
"Dad!"
"Yeah!"
"Is it alright if i go to Jeff's party? You know Jeff our drummer?!"
"Uhh...Sure! Are you going to sleep over at anyone's house?"
"Yeah probably Rina's our Ally's!"
"Alright, have fun."
"Ok im back." I said to Billie.
"So can you?" he asked.
"Yup i can....did Mike ask Ally yet?"
"Yeah like 10 min. ago..he had to go first."he said with sarcasm.
"Well I'll actually be over there in like 20 min, I'll pick up Ally on the way. See ya then." I said.
"Alrighty...I love you." he said.
"I love you too." I said with no hesitation. I hung up the phone and slipped on a black shirt that said "Matchbook Heights"(like the gig-place) and a black pair of pants. Applied(sp?) some eyeliner, tied my converses and ran out the door. I had $15 in my pocket, I've been saving but i felt like blowing it. I finally made it to Ally's, out of breath from running. I knocked on the door.
"Hello Catie..Ally's upstairs." her mom said as she let me inside. I made my way to Ally's room.
"Lo Ally." I said with a simple wave.
"Lo Catie."she said copying my gesture(sp?) "Hey did you know that Jeff invited that new kid, Jimmy?"
"No, i didn't even know that there was a new kid." I said.
"Well he's like us, so maybe we'll have a new addition to our little 'team', i also heard he is like a rebel and a quiet guy, but he'll be kool."she said as we started to leave the house.
"Billie and Mike are expecting us.."I said smiling. Ally smiled back. She loved Mike as much as I loved Billie....which was a lot. We knocked on the guys' door.
"Hello you babes." Mike said. "Come in, come in."
"Hey Billie." I said hugging him.
"Hey to you." he said kissing my forehead. Uhh...he was just so...so lovable!
CATIE
So we started to head off to the party.
"Lets race to his house!" Billie said as he scooped me up and started running. I tried to hard not to freak out, how in the world was this kid so strong?
"Beat ya!" said Mike as he set Ally down on Jeff's porch.
"Just walk in!" Rina called in from behind us as she stepped out of her brother's car. We stepped in and found tons of kids rocking out to Jeff's drum beats.
"Oww!" I yelled like a complete idiot. The party must have just started because the house was still in good condition.
LATER ON
The party was rockin' I mean I was so tired out from jumping around...After the party we headed out the door.
"Wait a second Ally, Catie. Get over here!" Jeff called out. So me and Ally headed towards him. "I'd like you to meet my good friend Jimmy. Sure first impressions are deceiving, but this kid blew me away..his hair, make-up, clothes everything was soo..hott.
"Uhhh Hi." Ally said as she shook his hand and never let go. Jimmy looked at her confused.
"Uhh hey." he replied back as he dropped his grip. He turned towards me and shook my hand.
"Hey Catie."he said as he looked at me.
"uhh hey...Jimmy." i said uneasily. How did he know my name? God i was confused.
"Well these girls were just heading out so tata for now!" Jeff called to us as we walked out.
"That Jimmy kid...wow." Ally said as she pushed the screen door open to find Mike and Billie sitting on the porch.
"Hey ladies." Mike said as he wrapped him arm around Ally. Billie followed Mike's gesture and did the same for me. We walked and talked until we arrived at Ally's.
"Bye, I love you." Billie said.
"I love you too." I said as I kissed Billie. I made my was up to Ally's room and plopped onto the bed. Ally plopped right next to me.
"I don't know why...but i can't help not thinking about Jimmy." Ally said.
"Weird..cuz it's the same for me." I said quietly.
"There's something about him that attracts me to him so much!" I called out.
"Me too!!!" Ally yelled. We giggled like little schoolgirls. But then i thought about Billie...
"Well I still love Billie to bits!" I said.
"Well I still love Mike to bits!" Ally said. She then turned out the lights as we fell asleep that night, and i had a dream that freaked me out:

DREAM
"Why the hell do i love you so much?" I cried out to a black figure. I was sitting under a bridge. I looked at my watch it was midnight.
"Because it just turned out that way." he said whispering into my ear, then gently kissing my cheek.
"You love me back right?"
"No doubt, we will love each other forever....even if we had to stay in this God forsaken town.
"You are like my Jesus..."I said kissing him. And then all of the sudden the black figure was Jimmy.

I woke up in a sweat. What did this dream mean, I turned and found Ally sleeping. I looked at the clock it was 4:00 A.M.
"Dammit" I said out loud. Then I heard someone talking. It was Ally. I listened closer to what she was saying so i could tease her about it in the morning.
"I don't know why..I..*mumble*..love...you...Jeff." she murmured(sp?) in her sleep. I didn't know what to think of it, were we both out for other guys? My stomach was filled with self-hate....
