Detective Michael R. Pritchard's Case Of The Kidnapped Angel, chapter 1

"Don't Leave me ... Don't Leave me... " sang Isabelle. Isabelle was waiting for her mother to take her down the steps of her mansion because she was going to be presented at her ball her mother threw for her birthday.

"Angel, you can come down now," said her mother.

"Okay mom!" she shouted.

"Angel I can't believe your already turning 17!!! You better stop growing up before you have to move out!"

"Mother, you know I will always visit you."

"Yes but its heart breaking losing my only child...."

They arrived at the end of the staircase. As soon as they got there Isabelle's mother clinging her glass of wine. "Ok all of you here is my beautiful daughter who turned 17 today!" Every one cheered loudly. "Now lets dance!"

During the ball they played many songs such as Knowledge, 409 in your Coffee Maker, Sweet Home Alabama, and more. She loved most of the songs they played (not Sweet Home Alabama that was for the adults) She still danced to all the songs with each one a different guy came up to dance with her. The guys were either boring or liked her waaaay too much.

"Cake Time!" shouted Isabelle's mother. Thank God someone saved her she was also pretty hungry too. "I hope you all like Angel food cake!"

Everyone was hungry so no one refused. "Isabelle come and cut your cake!!" "Yes, mother I will." Isabelle cut her a slice since she was a slow eater she savored every last bite. The line had grew long but soon every one had a slice of cake.

Isabelle was tired of everyone's attention and awe over her. She tried not to let it show but the many dances with dozen of guys did get on her nerves. "You sure are a hottie said one of the men she was dancing with.

Isabelle sighed, "Umm thanks I guess."

Isabelle's mother could tell Isabelle was getting tired so she called, "Angel, would you please go outside and check on Sandy?"

Isabelle lit up, "Yes mother of course!" But what her mother didn't know was that someone was out to get Isabelle. Two hours had passed and her mother was wondering when Isabelle would come back in. She decided to go outside and check on her.

"Angel!!! ... . Angel?!? Angel?? Where are you?????" "Bark!!! Bark!!!" cried Sandy. On the bench lay one of Isabelle's shoes.

Then it struck her. Isabelle was missing not just from running away but she had been kidnapped. She could tell because she saw something lying on the bench that wasn't Isabelle's it was Asthma inhaler. The next day she decided to look up a detective in the phone book.
