Rage and Love, the story of my life, chapter 3
I arrived in San Fransisco very very early the next morning. I had no idea what my life had in store for me. It was exciting but rather scary. I took a deep breath, pulled my key out of the ignition, and strode into a Motel 6.
----
"Tre...Tre...TRE!" Billie Joe called out. Tre Cool sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"How long have I been out?" he asked, glancing at the wall clock.
"About three hours man. What's going on, are you getting any sleep at all? We need to start this record off. If we dont get it started now, we'll never make the deadline!" Billie half questioned, half lectured. Tre's eyes widened, then he closed them tight, taking in a deep breath of air.
"Dude, seriously, what's going on?" Mike asked sitting next to his drummer friend. Tre honestly didn't want to tell them that Claudia had kicked him out of the house for a week. It was embarrassing. To avoid paparazzi, he slept in his garage.
"Tre!" Billie said sharply, shaking Tre out of his thoughts. "Focus man. Focus." Tre groaned slightly. He had to tell them sooner or later anyhow.
"Claudia isn't all that happy with me. I think it's mostly that Frankie has been keeping her up alot. I dunno..." he said trailing off.
"And...?" Mike raised his hand a little, showing his slight anoyance with the fact that Claudia was always mad. The two band members shared the common opinion that Claudia was not that nice of a person.
"And...she's been kicking me out. I-I've been sleeping in the garage...in the car..." Tre said yawning a little and looking away.
"Shit man! You should have called one of us! You could have stayed with me, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal," Billie Joe said rolling his eyes.
"Or me. You could have stayed with me. Actually, your bunking in the extra bedroom tonight. I want you to get some sleep, you really dont look that great," Mike said. Tre smiled slightly. He didn't really want to intrude, but he was glad he had good friends to take care of him.
"Thanks guys. I-I'm gonna work on Claud tonight. Maybe I can sweet talk her into letting me back in the house," Tre said hopefully, yawning a little. "But in the meantime, I'm going to go and sleep on that couch over there. Can I have half an hour...please?" he asked, yawning once more.
"Yeah, I guess," groaned Billie Joe. "But I'm setting the clock. We need to get cracking on this. I already have some really good ideas I'd like to get going on. OK?" Tre nodded and walked into the next room, collapsing on the couch.
"Mike...Claudia is not going to like this new record. It's going to take a lot of work, and time." Mike sighed
"Why do you think Bill?" he asked.
"Well, I'm kinda excited about this...how about a rock opera? I have so many ideas right now, it's not even funny!" Mike smiled. It sounded exciting...

I submitted my application to the college. I was going to attend school, and live on campus! This was definately exciting!
