Christie Road, chapter 1

I fell to the floor. Tears welled in my eyes. All I could feel was the pain from the kicking I was taking. All I could hear was the voices of the bullies from above me, they were laughing now. I could taste my own blood in the back of my mouth, I had given up fighting this. Suddenly everything went black...

***
"Are you okay?" I heard a worried voice say. I didn't move or say anything. My head was spinning and my vision was a blur. From what I could tell there were two people kneeling over me.
"Please say something," I heard someone say. Their voice was different to the last one.
"What are we gonna do, Tre?" The voice continued. I tried my hardest to say something.
"Umm..." I managed to get out. All I could remember was hitting the ground. Hard. The spinning in my mind turned to pain in a sudden shock.
"Oww" I squirmed. I could see better, just enough to make out what the boys above me looked like. They both had blue eyes and they were looking down at me. One had blonde hair and the other had light brown hair.
"Dude, are you okay?" The brown-haired boy said.
"I'll live," I managed to joke.
"Can you move?" The other boy said. I managed to slowly sit up but it was a struggle. I squinted my eyes as I put all my effort into the movement. The boy pulled a water bottle out of his bag and offered me some, I took a gulp and passed it back to him. The guys managed to pull me up to my feet and pratically carried me to a part of the school I'd never seen before, I wasn't really paying attention on the way there but I knew we were outside. Maybe it wasn't the school, I didn't know, It didn't really matter as long as I was away from them bullies.
Normally I'm a loner but today was different. When I was alone at school (I did that a lot) I'd either spend the time getting bullied or write songs, sitting underneath the stairs near my tutor room. It was like home under there. The songs I write were normally about lonliness or boredom. Sometimes even the thought of spending the rest of my life as a loner.
"Okay, we're here." I opened my eyes and saw what the guys were pointing at. I saw the old train-tracks and the rocks. Although we were only 10 minutes away from school, I'd never seen this place before. For some reason as soon as we got there I felt safe, safe from anything that could harm me. This place had a wierd atmosphere... And I loved it!
