A Series Of Truely Unfortunate Events, chapter 6
I awoke to the sound of the PA thingy, telling us that we had landed. I sat up and got my bags. When I got out of the plane I saw Chris waiting for me. I ran up to him and hugged him tight. He read my mind, he had brought Sara along. I hugged her as well. They helped me with my bags and told me that they were still sharing the apartment that they were before I left. I laughed a bit to myself and we drove home. On the way I told them all about what happened with Billie Joe and they told me that everything would be ok.
I had been here, in New York for nine months and the baby was due anytime now. I was having a baby girl and I was really excited. Even though Billie would never be a father to my baby, she had me and I was going to do everything for her. It was just another day; I was watching TV with Sara while Chris was at work when I felt it. My water broke and the baby was coming, it was coming now.
"Sara, the baby, it's coming" I said looking really worried. She just looked over at me and then said
"Now?" she said I could tell she was worried. She ran to get the phone and dialed 911. She told them everything they needed to know and not long after I was being rushed to the hospital. She also called Chris right after,
"Hello, Chris... It's Katie, the baby its coming, now" I heard her scream into the phone.
"Okay ill come to the hospital right now" responded Chris. They rushed me into the hospital and into the delivery room. After a long painful while I finally got to hold my beautiful healthy baby girl. I cried because she looked so much like Billie Joe and I wished he could be here to hold her, but I know that, that would never be able to happen so I wiped away my tears and pulled out my cell phone, dialing Allie's cell number. I hadn't told Allie what gender I was having because she believed that it should be a surprise so I pretended I didn't know. I waited for her to answer to tell her the good news.
Allie's POV***
I was sitting around with everyone watching TV when my cell rang; I picked it up and almost jumped for joy when I saw it was Katie. I hadn't been able to talk to her for a week, so I missed her a lot.
"Hey, Katie" I said excided
"Allie, I had the baby" she said. She sounded tired, but extremely happy "And it's a healthy baby girl" I jumped up and down so happy that it was healthy and that she had her baby, but then I remembered that I was also pregnant and had a baby in my stomach so I stopped jumping before I hurt it.
"That's amazing" she said, and I could still hear the excitement in her voice.
"Well, I have to get some rest I'll call you later, bye"
"Bye" and I hung up the phone and rushed back to the living room with a big smile on my face. As I walked in everyone one noticed my gigantic smile and Mike asked
"So why are you so happy" Everyone wanted to know but I couldn't tell them, Billie Joe was sitting there and he didn't know that she was pregnant. I was going to tell Mary and Mike later.
