A Series Of Truely Unfortunate Events, chapter 7
I named the baby Haley. I always liked that name, it was really pretty. I got to bring her home the next day and everyone was excited to see her. It was a good thing Sara and me got all the baby shopping done early. I got phone calls everyday from Mike, Mary and Allie to check how the baby was. I was relieved that nobody told Billie Joe, just didn't need him back in my life, after what he did.
3 years had gone by really fast; Haley and I moved into a small house not too far away from Chris and Sara's apartment, they didn't want me to move far because they said they would miss Haley and me too much so we found a place near by.
the guys were doing really well with their band. Allie gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Haley was getting really big. I couldn't stay in any of the relationships I tried; I just ended up comparing them to Billie Joe. He still didn't know that I had his child. The phone rang and I answered it, it was Mike.
"Hey, Mike, what's up?" I asked
"Hey, oh we are touring and we are coming to New York so we are uh going to drop by ok?" I agreed I haven't seen them in ages and I was excited to see my best friends again.
"Ok, yeah that would be amazing, so when are you guys coming?" I replied
"Oh umm... we are actually in New York right now and we will come over... how is tomorrow" he said laughing.
"Tomorrow" I replied, they were in New York? I was just letting it sink in when he replied
"Yeah we all just can't wait to see you again" I could never say no to them, they were my best friends.
"Okay well I guess I will see you tomorrow then"
"Okay bye"
"Bye" I hung up the phone and headed off to my room so I could get some sleep. Everything was worked out, I put Haley to bed and I also went to bed. I thought about everything Mary was telling me last week. Tre and Allie got married and Mike and Mary were engaged. Billie got married but recently got divorced. I guess he got over me, I thought, as I slowly fell to sleep.
