Lauren was right. Jess did fit in. Jess's dad claimed that the 4 of them were unsperable. Jess loved her friends, but when fights broke out it was D.E.A.D.L.Y.
"Jess throw the ball!" Lauren yelled at 13 year old Jess.
"Fine!" Jess took the baseball from her mitt and gripped it tightly.
"Wait!" Lauren yelled, running up to Jess.
"What now?" Jess asked relaxing.
"Mike and Billie are out!" Lauren pointed to Billie's Garage. Billie strummed gently on Blue, his guitar his dad bought him before he died 3 years ago. Billie lived across the street from Jess.
"So!" Jess was confused.
"Billie called you a slut!" Lauren explained.
"Yeah.. so!?"
"Well, throw the ball at him."
"What? That's mean!"
"So!"
"Yeah your right!" Jess gripped the ball the chucked it. The ball hit Billie in the head. They heard a loud crash then Mike was running towards Billie.
Jess and Lauren walked over. Jess sat on blues amp and Lauren sat on the couch.
"Jess" Billie started. "Why did you throw that at me?"
"Hey!" Lauren hit Billie's head.
"Ow! Stop that!" Billie glared at her.
"Payback for you calling me a slut!" Jess explained. She stood up leanded against the amp.
Billie was stunned her smooth long legs staring at him. Her painted toenails showing on her dirty bare feet. Her short skirt rimming the bottom of her belly button. Her tank muddy and holy her mouth moving slowly.
"Billie!" Jess slapped him. "PAY ATTENTION!"
"Oh Sorry!" Billie blinked. "Let's get back to playing Mike!"
Mike nodded and strummed a few chords then waited. Lauren waved good-bye and Jess gave Billie a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye Billie!" Jess giggled and ran after Lauren.
-Middle school, Jess develped a crush on Billie. And when the 4 of them left to high school Jess and Lauren were named the hottest girls of the school. Anna and Adie like Mike and Billie, but hated the girls. A guy named Tre.....wait or was that Frank! No it was Tre! Moved to Berkeley!-
Sophomore year jess walked the halls with gracefulness. Lauren easily hooked her arm in Jess's and walked slowly down the busy hallways.
Jess unhooked her arm and warpped it around a tall, shot haired, brown eyed boy.
"Hey Jessy!" Nick said hugging her.
"Hey!" Jess kissed his lips. Nick pressed her head harder against his. Jess felt a tap on her shoulder. She broke off.
"What?" Jess's black hair swished against Lauren's nose.
"I'm gunna go see Chris! I'll see you at lunch!" Lauren waved good-bye.
Nick brought Jess's face to his.
"Your breath is terrible!" Nick said. "You've been smoking haven't you?"
"Yeah, I smoked a joint with Billie before I came to school!" Jess explained.
Nick slapped her face hard. Her head banged against his locker.
"I told you not to go near him!" Nick slapped her again.
"Nick he's my best friend!" Jess cried.
"I don't care!" Nick slapped her one more time. She fell to the ground with a bloody nose.
"I'm sorry!" Jess cried. Tears streaming down her face.
Nick could feel some one tapping on his shoulder.
"What do you want?" He turned around and saw a fist fly at him.
"YOU EVER hurt her again! You'll die!" Billie's voice was stern. He foot laying on Nick's neck.
Jess looked up.
"Thanks Billie!"
"You ever date an ass like that," Billie was joking. "I'll have to date you!" His hand grabbed hers, as she stepped up.
"Is that an offer?" Jess, joked. She kissed his cheek.
