She.....She's the one that they mean by She, chapter 6
Jess slowly opened her eyes. Her head was killing her. What had happened the other night?
"Jesus Christ, she's alive!" Mike had yelled. Lauren had been sitting next to her trying to wake her up when Mike yelled she fell to the floor, on to her brother who hit Billie in the groin.
"AHH! Don't yell!" Jess grabbed her head when the bulging headache arrived.
"Are you okay? Do you need the hospital?" Tré was yelling squeezing the nerves out of her hand.
"No, I'm fine. I just don't remember at all what happened!" Jess stood up when Billie ached his way back over to her and pushed her down. "What's wrong Billie?"
"Nuts...hurt...painful..." Billie fell onto her legs and rested on the arm rest.
"Oh," Jess had a blank look on her face for about a couple minutes.
"Jess, I want you to stay away from Nick from now on! You almost got us killed. And the guys," Lauren said sternly.
"Me? If I have to stay away from Nick, same with you for Chris. But I'm not the one who swooned over Chris." Jess yelled back forgetting about the headache.
"Jess, Lauren. Both of you drop it!" Jason stood in between the two girls. "No matter what, we've figured out that Nick just wants to use you Jess. I don't care whether you still like him or not. No more of it."
Jess looked down with the tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Jess please, we don't want you in pain again. If he means that much to you then leave," Billie stared into her eyes.
Everyone in the room went quiet. No one spoke. Not even Jess. She just ran.
She ran into her room and locked the door. She never wanted to see any of them again. She longed to be back in Minnesota, wanting her old life back. She started to cry as she took out tons and tons of photo ablums. She opened the first one and then heard pounding and ramming on her door.
"Jess! Open the door!" It was Jason. "Let me talk to you!"
"No!" She bawled. "Not anymore."
She took the pictures out of the album and looked at them. It was pictures of her, Lauren, Billie, and Mike. When they were kids.
"Jess. I didn't mean it. Please don't do something you'll regret!" Billie yelled.
Jess took the photos in her hand and ripped them. She continued to rip all of the pictures she had.
Hours had gone past, the boys and Lauren had stopped trying to get in. And Jess had ripped up most of the pictures. Just the ones of them as kids through 6th grade. She hadn't wanted to be there anymore. She just wanted things she could never had.
Billie always got what he wanted. He got the band, he got the music, he even got the family. Okay, so maybe his dad did die, but he still had one. Jess didn't after she was 6, Or a mom, well, she did. But she was never home. She even knew something that Billie though she didn't. And that was Adrienne. the love of his life.
Billie was the apple of her eye. It's the only reason why she went out with Nick for. It was to make him jealous. Everything she did would never compare to her. As much as she tried, nothing would ever get Billie to like her.
Jess sunk her head down and cried a bit. The only thing she could think of was to run. She wiped away her tears and ran.
