Tell Me That I Won't Feel A Thing, chapter 3

"You're doing what?" Nadine squealed as Tess told her.
"You heard me." Tess smiled for the first time all weekend. Nadine hugged her.
"I'm so happy for you guys!"

Sammy and Tre looked up from their music.
"What's going on now?" Tre saw Tess's face. She knew that smile too too well.
"No way... NO FREAKIN' WAY!" Tess' mouth dropped. Before she knew it, she was running up the stairs screaming "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Help Nadine! Help me!" Soon there was a clunk and she slid back down, a bloody gash in her forehead.
"What happened? What'd she do?" Kevin asked Tre, who had fallen off the steps when Tess hit her.
"Tess *gasp* smacked into the door and *gasp* cut her head." She got up to find Tess knocked out on the ground. "Ooops!" She kicked Tess who only groaned and heaved herself up to sit on her hands.
"Owww... Tre, that really hurt!" she didn't notice the blood until she put her hand up to the wound. As soon as she saw it, she passed out cold on the floor.
"Anyway, Kevin," Their drummer and Nadine's boyfriend said "What's your part in this accident?"
Kevin sighed. "I was going to tell you later but... Tess and I are going out."
