The Middle Of Nowhere, chapter 1
The weather was harsh and the wind was blowing so hard that the falling rain was pounding on the windows, it sounded as if they may break at any moment. Adrienne and Billie were in the studio choosing song to go on th next Green Day album called The Underdog.
"I really like this song Adie," Billie said as he flicked through the mounds of hand written lyrics and was getting frustrated because the papers kept falling on the ground.
"Me too, it has a nostalgic feel to it," she said.
Billie replied, "Yes it does. Like Whatsername, only I guess that is more me than you though."
Adrienne turned to look at her husband and smiled. She was so in love with him her heart still fluttered everytime she saw him. The studio was relatively big and was cluttered with insturments of all types. Adrienne smiled to herself because it reminded her of their bedroom. Just then Mike came rushing in.
"Has anyone seen Tre?" he burbled, "Only he has answered any of my calls and I've been calling him near on none-stop all day."
Billie looked at Adie and said, "No we haven't. We rang earlier but there was no response. He's probably either slumped in a corner somewhere drunk he's probably entertaining some ladies somewhere. He has a tendancy to switch his phone off so we can't track him. Uncanny that."
Mike replied, "Well, if you hear or see him, will you let me know please?" Billie said, "Course."
So Mike walked out of the studio and down the hallway to the toilet. Half way through the phone rang. Mike said ( to himsalf ), "OH MY GOD, that might be Tre. Hurry, hurry. Whats going on down there? Arn't you finished yet? Do you not know this an emergancy?!"
Mike hurredly did up his fly and rushed out of the bathroom into the Managers' Office where the phone was but he picked it up and it went dead. "Mmmmm," he thought.
"What's going on?" Mike then returned to Billie and Adrienne and said," Billie, I'm just going to see if Tre's' about town". So off Mike toddled to find Tre, not realisingthat Tre would not be about the town, he was in trouble.
