Canada? CANADA? Damn You Geography..., chapter 2
Ok. So we kinda got lost. We`re now hopelessly walking around Napanee and its fucking freezing. We were just about to give up when we saw a familiar face sitting at the base of the Napanee church pillar. Tre, who is now alot calmer, walked up behind me and said in my ear:
"Look, its the chick that thinks I'm weird"
Mike sniggered and him and Tre followed me over to her. She sat there with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. She didnt even bother to talk, she just sat and looked up at me, shrugged and then looked back down at her fucked up Vans. Her eyes were cold and full of hate but something told me that somewhere, SOMEWHERE, she was smiling.
"Do you want sommit, or are you just here to stare at me?" She asked without looking up.
"Why you-"Mike mumbled through gritted teeth
"I was just wonderin' if you could show me and the guys around here."
She sighed and stubbed out her cigarette with her foot.
"There aint much to see 'round here." She said
I must admit, she was a total bitch but I somehow really liked that about her.
"Where can I see a moose?" Tre asked
She laughed and went "Up your ass"
I laughed and looked at Tre who actually beleived her.
"Wow.. I didnt know you board.." Mike said
"Yuppo. So where do you guys wanna go first?"
"A central heating shop would be good"I said sarcastically
"Hilarious. At least you don't have to live here all year round. It really sucks.. This place is so small that you actually know everyone.. Like the crazy old lady that lives on Johnstone Way."
"OLD PEOPLE CROSSING THE STRRET!" Tre yelled and pointed at an elderly couple
"Oh my god.. You're so right.. That IS amusing"Emmur giggled
"O... K you guys scare me-"Mike said
Emmur began running as some man came out of a house and yelled her name.
"EMMUR DOUBERAUX.. JUST WAIT 'TIL YOUR MOM HEARS ABOUT THIS"
"YEAH THEN THE WHOLE TOWN WILL KNOW"She screamed over her shoulder.
She ran up the street with her board under her arm. She was wearing baggy denim capri pant things, a ramones t-shirt and tartan tie, tartan socks and I think I mentioned the fucked up Vans.
"Here we go again.. Running sucks"I said and chased after her.
I heard Mike and Tre grunt and begin to run.. Again
