*Alex's Pov*
*Later that night*
When she came into her room, she just collapsed on her bed, not even taking off her converse. She closed her eyes thinking about Billie. A tear started to fall slowly down her face, but she didn't want to feel like this, so sad and miserable, so she wiped the tear of her face. In the back of Jenny's house was an oak tree which branches were ending just in front of the guest room. Alex carefully got on the tree and then jumped to the ground. She opened the gate door silently, so she wouldn't wake up anybody. Then she started to run, she ran like mad, like if she runes nothing bad can happen to her, like she's escaping from everyone and everything that will try to stop and hurt her. She ran all the way to the beach. Then she stopped and sat down, putting her arms around her knees and staring at the sea. It was beautiful, moonlight was slightly painting the surface of the ocean silver. It was hot even though the sun has set a few hours ago, a warm breeze was coming from the ocean gently blowing trough her hair. She wanted to share this moment with Billie, she wanted to put her head on his shoulder and just sit there staring at the beautiful sight. The tears came rolling down her face again, she didn't want to wipe them away, she kept staring at the ocean.
"Alex is that you?" a familiar voice asked. She turned around and saw Mike standing in front of her.
"It is you! What are you doing here and why are you crying?"he said softly, sitting next to her and pulling her into a hug.
"Shh, it's gonna be ok, no matter how bad it is! You'll see! Now tell me what happened, why are you crying?"he said comforting her.
"It's... , it's.." she blurted and than she broke, word just started coming.-" Well I kinda love BJ, I know, it's wrong and I can't do anything cause of Jenny, I don't want to hurt her, but I can't help myself, I can't order my heart to stop loving him. But that's not all, the worst part is, that Billie loves me too, at leased I think."she said unsure. Mike was shocked, he didn't expect something like this.
"Go on, I'm listening"he said softly, waiting for her continue.
"Umm, today at the amusement park, Billie, Billie kissed me... "she said staring at the sand.
"Wow, that's, wow!"Mike didn't know what to say. Alex started crying into his t-shirt.
"Shhh, it's not the worst thing in the world, everybody's still alive right? Don't worry Alex everything's gonna turn out alright! Mock my words!!!"he said pulling his hands trough her soft wavy hair.
"No it's not gonna be ok! If Jenny finds out about me and Billie, there gonna break up and she'll hate my guts!!! You don't understand, Mike, nobody does!" she said desperately.
"Believe me I do!!! I didn't tell anyone this... but I, I'm in love with Jenny... " Mike said looking aside. A tear sparkled in his eye, but it didn't came down his face. He was holding his tears not wanting to cry. Alex looked him in the eyes in disbelief.
"You, you are in love with, with Jenny??" Mike nodded his head.
Alex stopped crying, hugged him even tighter, and stared at the deep ocean again. It made her feel better confessing the whole thing to Mike, knowing he understands how she feels. Mike was relived too. They stayed like that for a couple of minutes and then they got up, and started walking home.
"Hey what were you doing here in the first place?" Alex asked.
"I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk, and well usually when I can't sleep I go to the beach, and there you where." Mike said smiling and they continued to walk towords there houses.
*After a couple of minutes, nobody's Pov*
"Hey Alex, who's that walking towords us?" Mike asked trying to see the person in front of them.
"I don't know, but he looks familiar." Alex replied.
"Is that, Billie Joe?"
"Yeah, it is... " Alex said. Her heart was pounding like mad, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She was nervous, she didn't know what Billie do, and she'll probably have to talk to him about that kiss. Billie was now closer to them.
"Hey guys, I thought that were you, what are you doing here, that late?" Billie sounded surprised.
"We could ask you the same question, BJ!!" Mike said smiling. He was a bit worried for Alex cause he knew something will happen between them two tonight, but he didn't know was Alex ready for another wound on her already bleeding heart.
"Yeah you're right Mike!" Billie replied trying to make eye contact with Alex, but he was failing cause Alex kept staring at her black converse. They continued walking to Mike's house.
