A Redundant Rebel And Pieces Of A Broken Heart, chapter 4
Next morning*
When Alex got out of the bathroom she went down to the kitchen still in her PJ's. When she came down she saw Billie and Jenny laughing and Tre was drinking juice from the carton.
"Hey sleepyhead! Nice PJ's!" Billie said and everybody except Alex laughed.
"Hey! What are you guys doing here so early?" Alex replied.
"Early? It's eleven o'clock!" said Tre, putting the juice on the table. "I'm ready to party!"
"Tre the real question is when are you not ready to party!?!" Mike said coming out of the blue. Everybody laughed.
"Go get dressed Alex so we can go!" Jenny said, giving Billie one of those mysterious looks.
"Where are we going?" Alex replied.
"It's a surprise! Now go get dressed already!" Mike said pushing her out of the kitchen. "And hurry up!"
"Okay, okay! I'm going!" she said running up stairs.
She took off her PJ's and put on her favorite black top with blue stripes. She put also her favorite jeans and some mascara and eyeliner, without that make up she felt naked. Then she went to the kitchen again.
"You ready?"
"Yep let's go!" she said with a smile on her face.
They got in the car. Billie was driving and Jenny was sitting next to him in the front. Alex was sitting between Mike and Tre. Alex was curious to know where were they going. She cuddled up to Tre, put on her puppy dog eyes, and asked:
"Tre where are we going?"
"I'm not telling!" Tre said looking out the window.
"Please Tre!" she winked her puppy dog eyes at him. He looked at her.
"Okay," he whispered,"But I'm gonna tell you just a lil bit and just because you have the best puppy dog eyes I've ever seen, and I wanna kiss in return, okay?"
"Yeah! Thanks Tre, you're the best!" and then she kissed him on the cheek. He smiled and said:
"Now we're going to Gilman to grab something to eat and then were going... Somewhere I'm not going to tell you where!"
"Hey not fair! I already gave you a kiss and you didn't tell me anything interesting!" she said pretending that's she's mad. Tre started to tickle her. She started laughing like mad.
"Stop Tre! Anything? Hmmm... " he said and stopped tickling her with an evil grin on his face.
"I want another kiss!" he said.
"Hey, my kisses are not free!" she said crossing her hands and looking him with a smile.
"Okay then! I'll have to tickle you' till you die!" -he said and started tickling her again.
"Okay, okay!" Then she gave him another kiss on the cheek.
She looked at Billie and saw him looking at her and then he focused on the road again. When Billie saw Alex and Tre laughing and Alex kissing Tre a worm of jealousy struck his heart. He wasn't in a good mood anymore. Billie stopped the car in front of Gilman. They got out of the car.
"I'm starving!" Alex said in a good mood.
"Me too,"said Tre and smiled at her, she smiled back.
Billie saw that and put his arm around Jenny. They got in the diner and sat down.
"Hey guys! Billie, did you got everything from the store?" a nice looking lady approached them.
"Yeah, mum I got everything!" Billie answered.
"So Mike and Tre, the usual?" she asked.
"Yep Mrs. Armstrong!" Mike said smiling.
"And you Jenny? What will it be today?"
"Emm... Some coffee and pancakes"she replied, smiling at Billie's mum.
"Okay and for you?" she said talking to Alex.
"Ups! Sorry, mum this is Jenny's cousin Alex" Billie said.
"Pleasure to meet you!" Billie's mum said, holding her hand.
"The pleasure is all mine!" Alex said, taking the hand and shaking it. "I'll have the same as Jenny."
"Alrighty then I'll be right back," Billie's mum said and went away.
"So what is the usual?" Alex said curiously.
"Wait and see!" Mike said playfully.
"Okay, where are we going after we eat?" Alex asked them again.
"It would take a lot of kisses for me to tell you!" Tre said laughing, "I surrender! Hahaha! I'll do anything!" she was screaming of laughter.
"You'll do--"
"All we're gonna say is that were we're going to a beautiful place! And we're gonna stay there' till it gets dark, okay?" Billie said looking at Alex with his amazing green eyes. There was something about them...Alex thought.
"Okay, if we'll stay there so long we better bring a lot of food." she said smiling at him.
Billie was in a good mood once again. When they finished their meals they got back to the car. They were driving about an hour and a half or two.
