I've Been Living A Lie, chapter 3
Lottie POV
Todays the day I leave for Calafornia. I'm waiting for Katie and Mark at my house. I'm downstairs making sure I have everything and trying as hard as I can to steer clear of my 'mom' and 'dad' who were fussing trying to make sure I would be ok. I realised I didn't have my locket so I rushed back to my room and put it in my pocket. When I got back downstairs there was a knock on the door it was Katie.
"Hi you ready Marks in the car?" I nodded.
"Yup one sec" I walked over to my 'parents' and hugged them
"Bye" I said.
They waved and I walked over to the car and got in.
"Hi Mr Stevens" I said to Katies dad who was driving us to the airport. He waved in return. Mark turned to me.
"Are you excited?" He rambled "I am I can't wait. I can't believe it, This is so cool."
Katie laughed "Mark, shut up!"
He pouted but stayed silent for the rest of the trip. Soon we pulled up to the airport and said our goodbyes. My nerves were on a high partly because of the secret reasons of the trip but mostly because I was scared of flying. We went through all the desks and security checks and now we were heading to board the plane. We got on and took our seats I concentrated on breathing correctly. A while later the plane started to move I clutched the locket tightly until we were flying steadily in the air. I released my grip and glanced down at it. Then I moved my gaze to my two friends who were sleeping, I smiled softly and put the locket on tucking it into my shirt so it wouldn't be seen.
A few hours later I was being shaken awake the plane had landed.
"Come on Lottie, were here and it's late so were going straight to the hotel" Katie said.
I nodded. We got off the plane it was pretty dark now so we hailed a cab and went to the hotel. When we got to the room I collapsed straight on my bed yawning tiredly and soon enough I was asleep.
I felt someone jumping on my bed and slowly opened my heavy eyes to e greeted with the two excited faces of my friends.
"Come on the concerts today! We need to leave in an hour!" Shouted Mark.
I groaned and got out of bed. Picking up my clothes I entered the bathroom took a shower and got dressed. We still had 20 minutes before we needed to go so we went to starbucks. We sat in for a while then we went out and hailed a cab to the concert arena.
We entered the arena and waited for Green Day to come out we were quite close to the stage and in the middle. They came out my breath caught as I saw Billie. If I was like this now how would I be backstage? The start of American Idiot burst through the speakers and he shock of the sudden rise in the atmosphere bought me out of my daydream and back to the concert
*Backstage*
We walked into the room there weren't much more people there by the looks of it on we went over to a wall lent on it and started taking waiting for Green Day to arrive.
*Billie Joes' POV*
We were heading backstage to sign autographs and take photos after another great show. I moved away from Mike and Tre to ring Mary and see how Lotties doing. I hadn't seen her properly since she was 4. We decided if she saw me and Adie after that she'd start to recognize us and ask who we were. I dialled the number and Mary answered
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi, Mary it's Billie again" I replied.
"Oh hi, Billie. Have a good show" She asked. I couldn't help feel she was hiding something.
"Erm, yeah it was great. Are you okay?" I asked anxiously what if something had happend to Charlotte.
She sighed, "Not exactly, I'm worried about Charlotte"
My throat tightened "Wha? Why?!"
"No don't worry she's fine... I think. She's in Calafornia. She's just been to watch your concert."

My breath caught "What? You mean she was here?!" I chocked out.
"Yeah she staying in Calafornia for a week with two friends. They came to watch Green Day"
I ran a hand through my hair nervously and turned to see where Tre and Mike were. Tre was talking to the drummer we picked for Knowledge. And Mike was talking to three people. Two girls and a guy, they had there backs to me so I couldn't see their faces until Tre decided to jump on one of the girls. They both fell over laughing like mad. The girl turned around slightly and thats when I noticed
The locket, The same locket I gave Charlotte 12 years ago. And I saw her eyes as she spoke to Tre, Green like mine. Shit, she was here... She looked over at me and froze...
"Um... Mary... I have to go"...
