Rodeo Rocker, chapter 4
They were still slumped in the living room, music now blaring from the speakers as Cody & Mike sat cuddled together on the couch, chatting to Tre & Jake. Billie Joe had gone to get some pizza for them to share on the last day of vacation.
“Who bets he comes back with dope as well as pizza?� Jake asked, “he’s been gone long enough.� Hearing a car pull up outside Jake went to the window “Oh SHIT!� he cried, “turn the music down!�
“WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!� Jake’s step dad bellowed as Cody jumped off Mike to turn the music off “I go away for a weekend & it turns into some teenage orgy! Does your aunt know what you kids get up to when she’s out?� he looked pointedly at his wife’s niece.
“Yeah, probably, but she’s not out, she’s in the garden,� she replied, glaring at her step uncle, turning to look at the door as Billie Joe walked in.
“Wahey guys, got some good stuff & I don’t mean the pizza!� he laughed before seeing Pete “err…I mean…Like…err, the drinks yeah.� he stuttered.
“RIGHT! Allof you, out, get OUT of this house! I won’t tolerate this! There’ll be no stoners in this house, y’understand!� he cried in despair, his English accent making his angry slurs more noticeable as the teenagers ran out with Jake’s dog.
“WOW! He was drunk.� Tre laughed, holding Cody up as she laughed, possibly a little too friendly as the next thing he knew, he had a red hand print across his face
“Keep your wanderin’ hands to yerself Tre!� she shouted at him, going over to where Mike’s arms waited for her, watching Tre, “or at least ‘till you’ve got the excuse of bein’ jaded.� she added, softening to the drummers usual antics
“Dood! Get your own girl, n keep off mine!� Mike called over, glaring at his friend
“So…Where can we go?� Billie Joe asked, trying to break the atmosphere, “I don’t think your step dad ‘ll be thrilled if we just move onto his lawn to get wasted.�
1 hour later
“HeHeeee!� Jake cried, running around, stumbling over a branch as his friends rolled around the grass in hysterics, with Jake’s dog, ‘Jeopardy’ jumping about them, barking.
“You were right Billie!� Tre slurred “This is real gurd stuff� as he tried to stand & fell over
“err..mate, I think that’s the booze, not the dope,� Billie Joe laughed as Tre tried to stand up again & landed on top of Cody & Mike “HeHe, Gang Bang!� he cried, going over & sprawling over them all “Tre, you’re gunna get twatted for gropin’ Cody one day y’know� he whispered
“JEEZ! How’d I know we’d find y’ here?� a voice yelled over the hysterical cries “Cody, Y’ fancy comin’ for a ride or are y’ too far gone?�
“HeHee, hey Sarah!� Cody shouted from under Billie & Tre “can’t ride, gorra broken arm, fell off the bronc� she added “you guys never come here.� she burst out laughing as Tre & Mike tickled her.
“The lodger told us he’d chucked y’all out ‘cause Billie had dope or booze, we figured you’d come to Christie Road� Danny replied, his long hair hanging over his eyes. “C’mon Sarah, I’ll take Timber for a ride with you ‘n’ Misfit, don’t worry Cody, we’ll be around at school when you remember who your friends are!� he shouted over his shoulder.
“Yeah ‘n’ we’ll take care o’ your horse!� Sarah added, tossing her black curls over her shoulder as she got onto the back of Danny’s moped.
