Touring A Dream, chapter 5

"Thanks for inviting me to this!" Jocelyne yelled jumping around to the music Green Day was playing on stage. The concert was half way over.
"Who else would I invite!?" I yelled back, she just smiled. We both kept on jumping around to the music along with our friends who both had the name Steph.
"We are now looking for people who want to sing on tour with us. But, sorry it has to be a girl cause the things are for a girls singing parts" Billie Joe yelling into the microphone.
"Did I hear what I thought I just heard." I said. That would be awesome to go on stage with my favorite band I thought, let along go on tour! We all started screaming in hope of being picked.
Billie Joe just randomly selected 7 people, then another, and another, and then ME! I was so nervous walking toward the stage, bodyguards meeting me half way. I made it to the stage and Billie Joe looked at me and said into the microphone.
"Wow you looked a lot older for down there!" Holy hell I got that a lot. I was very short for my age, almost the shortest in my grade. I started laughing I should have expected it.
I watched the other girls sing into the microphone, a couple of them had a decent voice, and I bet one or two of them would have done better if it weren't on stage in front of so many people. But when it got to me I just gave it my hardest. I looked up to see his reaction. I would have laughed but didn't.
"You have a big voice." was all he could say. Good thing I was last, cause right after he said that, he said
"I see we have our winner for tonight!" everyone started screaming, wow that sounded good, I would have swore I heard my friends screaming. Billie Joe thanked all the other girl, and so did Mike and Tre.
He led me back stage and then ran back on, to keep the performance going. I was happy standing back stage, it was more exiting. After a couple more songs everyone walked off stage, except Billie Joe so he could play Good Riddance. I didn't hear very much of that song on account Tre, Mike, Jason, Jason, and Ronny were talking to me. We first introduced ourselves properly then we started talking about different things.
When Billie Joe finished the last note of Good Riddance, Tre jumped up and said they had to go on stage for and minute. They went back up there and took their bows, and then they all walked back off stage, including Billie Joe. He walked over to me and we introduced himself.
"So would you like to go on tour with us?" Billie Joe asked. I thought about it, then something popped into my mind.
"Uhh what about school?" I said.
"I mean I would love to go on tour with you! I mean I don't know if my parents will lets me because of school." I finished. They seemed to be thinking, then Mike said.
"Lets talk about that later." They all seemed to be thinking the same thing. We started talking about other things like my family and things, and what it's like living on the other side of the country.
"Oh crap I need to meet my friends, somewhere. They were with me at the concert, I wonder if they met up with my mom?" I said more to myself then them.
"Well where were you supposed to meet your mother?" Mike asked.
"Down the street at the little restaurant, we new was open late." I said.
"why don't we take you there and see if she is there, or does she have a cell phone?" He said.
"Yeah." I said. I started tapping on my pockets, damn, It was back at the hotel!
"Did you lose your phone!?" Mike said looking serious.
"No I just left it at the hotel." I mumbled
"Hey, use mine" Tre said tossing me his phone.
"Thanks" I said. I dialed the number and my mom picked up.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi mom."
"Caroline? Where are you?"
"I'm still in the stadium I'm just back stage."
"When am I going to see you?" She asked I could hear Jocelyne, Steph and Steph talking behind her. Well that's good they found my mom.
"Well I was wondering if you could come pick me up?" I asked in a hopeful voice, even though I knew she would say yes.
"Yeah, where do you want me to pick you up. I'm at the hotel." She said
"Um in front of the stadium I guess will be fine." I said. Hoping the guys didn't have a different plan.
"Wait." I turned to the men sitting on the chairs around me. "Is that fine with you?"
"Yeah, of course." Billie Joe said.
"Ok I'll meet you in a couple of minutes. OK?"
"Yeah that's fine mom, bye, love you." I said hanging up the phone. I handed it back to Tre.
"Thank you." I said.
"Yeah, it fine." He said
"So your mom is coming in a couple of minutes?" Mike asked. He seemed to be the one who wants to meet me the most.
"Yeah."
"OK. Cool lets go out and wait for her."
"Sweet." Mike led us drown a couple of hallways to the back exit. We walked around the building, Mike still leading us. To my surprise my mom was waiting in the car there, she must have drove 20 miles over the speed limit.
"Hi Mom." I said as she was getting out of the car.
"Hi." She was looking at the guys.
"Mom This is Mike, Tre, Billie Joe, Jason, Jason, and Ronny" I said pointing to all of them, when I said their names. Then I realized someone was in the car. They opened the door.
"Caroline." They said
"Caroline!"
"CAROLINE!"
Suddenly I woke up in my bed, on the bus. Tre was standing over me, and there was no bucket in site. Sweet. I think I'm gonna stay dry. Woot!
"Caroline are you ok?" He asked. Ok... that's kinda random.
"Uh yeah why tre?"
"Because you were just screaming."
