Always Read The Label, chapter 5
*Tre's POV*
I dropped the phone and dived towards Billie. "BILLLLLLLLIE!!!!!!!!!!" All the customers were freaked out and ran towards the exit. All three of us were stuck there with a gun pointed to our faces. A few minutes of listening to this guy saying "STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND SHUT THE FUCK UP", the cops came. The robbers ran for their lives. "We need an ambulance!!" shouted Mike to one of the cops.
"Billie, hang in there. Just try not to move." I said, trying to calm him. Billie looked like he was just about to black out. "Mike!" I said, "Keep him awake!" We kept him awake while the ambulance came. I was really worried about Billie...
*Mike's POV*
Billie was taken to hospital. The robbers were arrested and Tre and I told the cops what happened and went to the hospital. "He'll be ok Tre." I said to him. Tre sighed. We waited at the hospital for 3 hours until we were allowed to see him. Tre and I rushed into the ward where Billie was. "You right man? When are you gonna get out?" Tre was full of questions. "Dude. Give him some space."
Billie looked at us. "Yeah I'll be ok." He said with a smile on his face. "YAAAAY!" shouted Tre. The nurse came into the room and told Tre to shut up. "Have you called Adie yet?" Billie asked. Tre and I looked at each other. "Shit."
*Billie's POV*
Mike and Tre ran out of the ward to the nearest phone. I lay there wondering...if they really knew it was cat food. Oh well. I looked at my leg, they had gotten the bullet out. But my leg was wrapped up in a bandage. Was this going to affect anything I do? I was worried. I stared out the window for some time and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of Adie's voice. "Billie? Billie?" she said. She kissed me to make sure I was fully awake. "Adie!" I could feel a tear going down her cheek and landing on my shoulder as I hugged her. "Dad?" I heard Joey's voice. I looked at him and Jakob and I hugged them both. Jakob was on the verge of tears and Joey's big brown eyes were watery. "I'm going to be ok." Jakob smiled. I smiled back.
"Mike, Tre, thanks." I said to them. They just smiled and didn't know what to say. Pfft. They're too weird. "Guess what we brought?" said Tre. I was confused. "BEER!" shouted Tre. "Quiet!" said one of the nurses. "What th...are you even allowed beer here?" I asked. "Who cares?" said Mike.
We all sat in the ward talking and drinking beer...apart from the kids. Adie gave me a kiss on the forehead. "I knew you'd be alright." she whispered.
