The Singer's Dilemma, chapter 5
<p>You're leaving?" Mike asked.<br /> "Yeah" answered Kelsey. Everyone was staring at her. <br />"Why?" asked Billie Joe. She didn't know if she should tell them what Tre said.<br /> "Uh- well Tre-" "I told her she might want to leave. I mean we're only going to be here for a few more days. I mean...you know we're uh on tour so yeah." Tre looked away from everyone and pretended to be interested in the menu. Mike looked at Kelsey.<br /> "Is that true Kelsey?" he asked. <br />"Um.. yeah." She looked at Tre. "See I told you!" Tre said. Kelsey gave him a pissed off look. <br />
"Well we'll stay in touch right?" asked Billie Joe. She looked him in the eyes and said.<br /> "I really don't think so." Billie Joe, Tre and Mike looked very confused. Mike broke the silence.<br /> "You won't stay in touch with any of us?" When Kelsey didn't answer Billie Joe asked why she didn't want to stay in touch with anyone and Kelsey finally decided to speak her mind.<br /> "Because" she paused. "Because of what happened. Between me and Billie Joe."<br ?> "What are you talking about?" Mike asked. Kelsey shook her head and walked outside.

Before Kelsey could get in her car Billie Joe stopped her.<br /> "I'm sorry about what happened. Can we please stay in touch?" Kelsey thought for a minute. <br />"I guess." He smiled.<br /> "Great!" Kelsey didn't know if she really wanted to keep in touch with Billie Joe or not but she gave him her address and cell number anyway. <br />"Bye Billie"<br /> "Bye Kelsey" Billie Joe responded as he went back inside the restaurant. </p>
*The Next Morning*
<p>Kelsey woke up at 11:00am. She was going to leave for the plane in 5 hours. She took a shower and then did her eyeliner. All that took 45 minutes. She didn't know what she should do to pass time so she went to Billie Joe's hotel even thought she didn't think she should of. </p>
<p>When she got there Billie Joe wasn't there but Adrienne was and asked if Kelsey wanted to go to lunch. Kelsey not wanting to be rude agreed. They took Adrienne's car and went to Burger King. When they were eating they started talking about music (mostly Green Day). Kelsey thought Adrienne was a really sweet person. ' Maybe we can become friends' Kelsey thought and smiled to herself.</p>
