Call It What You Like - I Don't Care, chapter 3

*Billie's P. O. V*

I looked into tear filled, brown eyes. God she was BEAUTIFUL! I just immediately liked this girl and I felt so sorry for her.
I started moving closer to her. I just couldn't help myself. She wasn't really paying much attention but I still moved closer. I had no idea what I was doing but I couldn't help myself. Just as I was about to close the gap between us she turned her head around and looked out the window I just looked at the back of her head feeling embarrassed, hurt and confused all at once. I wonder why she turned away from me. She probably already has a boyfriend, a beautiful girl like her. Or it could be because she thinks I'm still married, (Adie and I divorced about a month ago). I just sat there still staring at the back of her head as she put her earphones back in and started listening to music again.
"Dude, is something wrong?" I heard Tre's voice as though from far away.
I tore my eyes away from Bella and answered Tre, "Nah I'm fine." I said looking back at Bella to see a tear roll down her cheek. I looked over at her and noticed the screen of her iPod.

*Bella's P. O. V*
Oh god what the hell just happened? Why the hell was he trying to kiss me? He's married for Christ's sake!
I can feel him staring at me. Oh god this is awkward. I can tell he's embarrassed. There's no way I'm gonna be able to stay with him for the rest of the summer now, I'll be lucky if I manage the rest of this plane trip.
I put my earphones back in when I heard some one finally speak.
"Dude, is something wrong?" Tre asked.
"Nah I'm fine," replied Billie.
I turned on my iPod and Wake Me Up When September Ends came on. That song meant so much to me. I started to cry silently with my head against the window. I felt Billie Joe lean over me and gently take the iPod out of my hands. He scrolled through the song library and changed the song to King For A Day.
I just continued looking out at the clouds. I was sad and I was still embarrassed about what happened before.

Mike had fallen asleep and Tre had just excused himself to go talk to a girl he thought he might have met before.
Billie sighed and went back to looking at me.
This was really starting to get weird. I've had a crush on Billie for years and all of a sudden he's totally obsessed with me.

*Billie's P. O. V*
I went back to looking at Bella who was fiddling with her iPod and cursing. After a few minutes she gave up and shoved it into her bag which happened to be covered in patches and badges for bands like Green Day, Linkin Park, Evanescence and Good Charlotte.
She sat up and looks around, still avoiding looking at me.
"Bella," I started.
"Yes."
"Are you alright?" I asked her.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just have nothing to do," she replied still not looking at me.
"You could talk to me, if you're gonna be staying with me."
Her eyes went directly to the floor. "Look, I'm sorry about what I did earlier, I don't know what was wrong with me... "I was cut off by her finally looking at me.
"Billie Joe I can't stay with you," She said firmly.
"Huh?"
"You're married! How do you think your wife and kids are gonna react to you bringing home some random girl you met on a plane?!" She nearly shouted at me.
"They won't care," I said sadly, "Because Adie and I got divorced about a month ago."
"Oh I'm really sorry."
"You coud make me fell better about it though... "
"How?"
"You could come and keep me company for the rest of the summer," I said with a grin.
"... Ok, I guess I'm gonna have to," She replied smiling at him, and this time it was her who made a move. She leaned my face closer to mine and I slowly closed the gap between us...
