She said YES, chapter 1
*Hannah Calls*
"Hey Erika, guess what? I just looked up Green Day tour dates on GreenDay.com and I found out that they are coming to Boston! Doesn't your Aunt have a place there?"
"Yeah! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Erika said excitedly.
"Ya dumbass, ask your mom when she gets home if we can go!"
"Wait, what day is the concert, and how much is it?"
"September 3, and it costs 40 bucks," Hannah said, in a 'that's so far away' voice.
"Ok. I'll talk to you later after my mom gets back from the store. Hopefully she says yes!"
"Bye," Hannah said, quickly.
*Erika's P.O.V.*
Wow I can't believe Hannah actually found tickets! Especially to a Green Day concert. I hear my mom's car pulling into the driveway. I quickly turned off my CD player, which of course had Green Day playing. Then I ran to the door to tell my mom the news.
"Mom, mom guess what! Hannah called and told me she found tickets to go see a Green Day concert in Boston!" I said in my best puppy dog look.
"Well, what day is the concert and how much are the tickets?" She said, concerned.
"Hannah said they were 40 bucks, and it's September 3."
"Well, ok I'll think about it."
*The Next Day After school*
The bus ride home was so boring. I could not wait to go home to find out if she said yes. I had a major headache from this girl named Kayla telling everybody that Green Day sucks and Usher should rule the world. Finally, when I got home my mom was sitting on the chair with a good look on her face.
"Hey Erika, I've got some bad news," my mom said.
"What?" I said confused.
"I'm kidding, but I do have good news. The Green Day tickets go on sale tomorrow, and I will take you and Hannah."
" Yay! -" I said, but then my mom cut me off.
"But Hannah has to pay for the ticket and her food. Plus I figured we would take the bus to Boston so she has to pay for that too."
* The next day*
I asked my mom if she was going to call my Aunt today. She said yes, and my Aunt allowed us to spend the night at her place when it's the day of the concert. I'm going to call Hannah, and tell her that my mom said yes! Wow, I can't believe we're actually going to be in the same room as Green Day...
