My Life With Tre, chapter 29
**1 hour later
Adie arrived and we all sat down, Kat was asleep and talked about other stuff and I noticed through out the whole time Adie was at our house Billie kept looking at her like not all the time but just glances. I asked him to come through the back room with me so I could talk to him about something.
"Billie Joe do you still love Adrienne?" I asked him seriously.
"No," was all he said.
"Oh really, then how come I saw you looking at her?"
"Cause she's ugly," He replied. I slapped him across the face hard.
"What the fuck did you just say about her?" I said to him slightly raising my voice now.
"Ok, ok, I still love her but I love Emma too, I love two chicks but can't decide which one." That surprised me a little bit. He had kids to both of my friends and they were both my friends. I didn't know what to do. I hugged Billie Joe and at that moment he hugged me back and kissed me!!
"What was that for?" I said.
"Sorry just a reaction." We decided to keep that between us and not tell anyone it was a rush of the moment thing. We walked back out and as we went to go sit down I whispered to his ear,
"You have to choose, don't lead them both on." When we sat down he went back and sat next to Emma.
"What was that about?" Tre asked me.
"Oh nothing," I said looking at Billie Joe then at Emma then at Adrienne.
"Drinks anyone?" I said as I got up and started to walk off to the fridge.
"No, uh, I'll get them," said Adrienne as Tre pulled me back down and pulled me onto his lap. I laughed and snuggled into him. I then started humming King For A Day, then so did Emma and April then Tre started singing it then Mike then Billie Joe then Adrienne came back in and started singing it as well. After a while we were all bored so we went and did our own things, Billie Joe and Emma went up to their room.
2 hours later
It was all quiet then we heard yelling and realized it was Emma and Billie.
"Oh shit." I thought at what talk I had with Billie earlier. Next thing we hear footsteps running down the stairs, obviously Emma followed by Billie.
"You asshole!" she screamed before slamming the front door in his face. I looked at him then I got up and started to run after Emma catching up to her half way down the street.
"What happened?" I said.
"He told me he wants to break off the engagement and go back to Adrienne!" Emma said in tears. All I could do was hug her, so I did. Five minutes later Billie came running down the street and stopped to catch his breath. When he'd caught up with us first thing he said was, "I love you Emma, but I love Adrienne more." Emma started crying full on as she turned away from Billie and myself next thing we knew she took something off her hand and threw it on the ground dodged past us and ran back to the house.
Minutes later
Billie and I made it back to the house, as we made our way to the front door all we could hear was crying and something falling down the stairs then we noticed the front door opened and Emma walked out with her bags as she dumped her bags on the sidewalk. I walked up to her and hugged her then said,
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going back home... to Australia." She replied.
"What?!" I said. "But you can't." I finished, staring at her.
"I can and I am," She said as the taxi arrived and she hoped in and said,
"I'll miss and I'll come and see you but, oh my god, RACHAEL!" she screamed as her little girl came bounding down the door way as she kissed and hugged her daddy good-bye, Billie Joe just stood there staring at his little princess, Rachael hopped into the taxi with her mum and the taxi took off. I walked back up to Billie Joe as he opened his hand to reveal Emma had thrown her engagement ring onto the ground. What could I do? I just hugged Billie Joe as he hugged me back.
