My Life With Tre, chapter 36
**Some time later
When I woke up it was still and quiet, the way it was before Emma, Mike and April moved in, not that I didn't like it, and it was just plain weird. Then as I walked into the kitchen to get something to eat; luckily Emma was going shopping. I heard music, it took a while but after I tuned in I realized it was our wedding song. When I walked into the lounge room there was 2 glasses of wine and Tre sitting there in his boxers as usual. When I walked over to him, he stood up and took my hand and pulled me close to him and kissed me then said,
"I love you Rhiannon," as we started to slow dance like we did at our wedding.
"I love you to Tre," I said as I rested my head on his chest.
"You know we've been through thick and thin, sickness and health, and even though we've had our rough times, we've dealt with them haven't we?" Tre said, I thought oh my god. That was coming out of my husband's mouth? Tre cool's mouth?
I just looked at him and said "Yes we have and no matter what I will always love you." We kissed just as the song had finished, then knowing Tre he wanted more so we layed down on the couch just as Tre had taken off my shirt Billie Joe and Adrienne barged through the front door.
"Shit!" I said as I quickly shoved my shirt back on over my head and Tre rolled his eyes.
"We'll keep going later," I said smiling and getting off him.
"I'll hold you to that," he said pinching my ass. I just laughed as Billie Joe and Adrienne stared at us the laughed.
"Is Emma here?" Billie Joe asked as he looked around the house.
"Nope she took Rachael and Kat out to the park and then shopping." Adrienne just rolled her eyes. She didn't like Rachael or Emma for that fact being mentioned.
"Oh ok." he said sounding slightly disappointed; he hadn't seen his daughter since well, the day before which was long enough for him. Just as Tre went out to get the mail Emma came in followed by Rachael and Kat. Emma looked at Billie Joe then Adrienne and walked past them into the kitchen. Billie Joe followed her in as we all sat down in the lounge room.
"Where are the boys?" I asked Adie making conversation.
"At Ollie's," she replied playing with her black dreaded hair. Just then Tre came back in from outside and fell onto the couch and said,
"I have to stop walking," as he pointed to his ankle. It was swollen and red so I lifted his leg up onto my lap and lightly rubbed it as Tre flinched every-now and again.
Adrienne stared at it and said, "Fuck."
Tre and I laughed as we heard Emma say, "Fuck you Billie Joe," and footsteps going up the stairs.
"Shit," I mumbled as I put Tre leg back down and ran up the stairs just before Emma shut the door.
"What happened now?" I asked as Emma sat on her bed tears filling her eyes.
"He wants to take me to court to get full custody of Rachael," Emma said as she burst out in tears.
"Shit," I said as I hugged her then said "I'll talk to him don't worry you're not going to lose her." I hugged her tight then let her be and walked down stairs and told Billie to come into the kitchen and talk to me.
He came in and said, "What has she told you?"
"Well she told me that you want full fucking custody of Rachael."
"Yeah so?" Billie Joe replied standing there like he didn't care.
I slapped his face and said "She wants Rachael as much as you, you left her and now you want to take her child? I'd at least thought you'd want her on weekends."
"Yeah but Emma wont let me see her!" he argued rubbing his face at the red mark I'd left.
"Well that's no reason to have full custody of her!" Emma was my friend and I wasn't gonna let the father; even if it was Billie Joe Armstrong take that away from her.
"Fine just forget I asked I'll settle for weekends if Emma says no then I'll live with that," he said settling down.
I called Emma down and into the kitchen. She came down eventually and I called Tre and Adrienne into the kitchen to witness this, "Ok you both agree Emma you live with us so Billie you get Rachael every weekend and Emma has her during the week."
"Ok," they both said and shook hands. As it was the weekend Billie Joe took Rachael home with him.
