The Beginning Of Something Green, chapter 1
-this story is written by me and my friend Patty... . (Niamh) she's a bit of a teenie so don't mind her bits lol-
*Aisling's P.O.V.*
Some birds outside the window woke me up. I opened my eyes groggily and looked around the room I was in... ... it wasn't mine... .
I rolled over to see a tossed head of green hair snoring loudly. I got up quietly and found my clothes strewn in various piles. I tamed my wild hair with my fingers and wiped the blurred eyeliner off.
The guy in the bed was Tre' Cool of 'The Lookouts'. I had gone to their gig last night and well... . Stuff happened... I would've stayed around but Tre' wasn't boyfriend material. I stuck a green Converse out his window and shimmied down the drainpipe. I straightened myself out and walked to the park where I was meeting my friends. It was early but they'd proberly be there.
Ashley was sitting in our usual spot wearing a 'Ramones' t-shirt, jeans and black hi-tops. She was my new friend who had just moved here from New York last week. She was yawning. I plonked down next to her.
"So how was the gig?" She asked. She couldn't as she was babysitting her nephew Kyle, who was three.
"Ya it was good." I smiled. She looked me up and down.
"You bonked that drummer dude didn't you?" she laughed as I smiled even more.
"Yes I did!" I said waggling my eyebrows. Ashley was rolling on the floor laughing.
Niamh our other friend sat next to me. Ash was still in a heap of giggles.
"Where did you head last night, me and Mike couldn't find you after!" she sighed. She looked at Ashley and realised.
"You practised C.P.R. with that Tre' guy!" she gasped
"Ya! Get over it!!!!" I sighed.
"I can't he's not in front of me!" Ashley said in between laughing.
"Ya but he was in front of Aisling last night!" Niamh said in hysterics.
I sighed, my friends were so immature.
"BILLIE!" I shouted across the park at my friend. He was with Jason.
I ran over o them. Billie hugged me and Jason smiled.
"So what'ya think of The Lookout's? I didn't see you after the gig."
"They were good but I think Laurence is better off with Lookout Record's" I said. Niamh and Ashley floated over to us.
"Ya but the drummer Tre' is good!" Billie reasoned.
"Ya he's good, out of his head though." Jason added.
"Aisling would know all about that!" Niamh nudged my arm. I blushed slightly. Billie looked at me and Niamh strangely and Niamh nodded.
"So that's where you got too last night!" Jason laughed. Billie started laughing too.
"Would ye please all get over yourselves!" I sighed trying to pale my burning cheeks.
"Sorry we can't! We're not that flexible!" Ashley bitched.
"Ohhh! Burn! Who's the bitch?" Jason asked pointing at Ashley.
"The 'Bitch' has a name, Ashley and don't you fucking wear it out!" She smirked.
"I like this one!" Billie laughed. Ashley blushed and I knew she liked him...
"Did you get the opening spot for Op.IV tonight?" I asked Billie. Operation Ivy, our town's most famous punk band were playing at the Gilman tonight. Billie, my cousin Mike and their friend Al were in a band called Sweet Children... . They were going to go far. I knew it.
"Ya! It's going to rock!" Billie smiled. Jason kept a blank expression.
"Jason... Sarah's going tonight!" He perked up and grinned at me. Sarah our other friend and him had a Love-Hate relationship. He loved her and she hated him. I looked at my watch. My shift started in ten minutes.
"Shit! I gotta go see you guys later!" I said and ran to 'Hal's Records were I worked.
*Tre''s P.O.V.*
I woke up to a noise at the window. I rolled over to see the girl was gone. Her name was Aisling, I think. She was Mike's cousin or something.. I saw a tube of eyeliner on the floor and I picked it up and pocketed it.
I was hoping she would've stayed... .. I would've made her pancakes... but no. I suppose my reputation surpassed me .I got up and threw on my 'The Clash' t-shirt, some surfer shorts and red hi-tops. I suppose I'd head into The Gilman. Mike, Billie, Al and Jason would proberly be there.
I strolled down the road and headed into the dark dingy club. It smelt of blood, booze, piss and my favourite pot. Billie, Al, Jason and Mike were sitting in a cloud of whatever.
"Hey Tre'!" Billie giggled (he did that when he was high)
"Hey." I said sitting next to Mike and grabbing the joint off him. They all looked at me grinning (except for Mike).
"What the fuck?"
"Somebody scored last night!" Jason sang.
"Oh ya!" I smiled. The others laughed.
"Ya that Aisling one is hot!" Al said. I shot him a dagger look.
"O.k. o.k. dude chillax!" He said holding up his hands.
- A little later -
I was sitting with Mike.
"I can't get her out of my head!" I complained. The week had loosened my tongue.
"I feel extremely uncomfortable talking about you and my cousin but if you like her so much then go talk to her!" he said giving me warning looks.
"I dunno... "
"Come on!" He said dragging me out of my seat and out the door.
"She works down the road" He said explaining his madness.
