A life where no one knows your name, not even your family., chapter 3
Joey ran after me into the back to see that I was in a corner writing something. He walked up to me and very softly said, "Purity are you alright?" I pick my head up and I had tears streaming down my face I obviously couldn't hide them from Joey because they were very visible. So he sat down beside me, put his arm around me, and assured me it was alright. I tried to tell him it wasn't but there was no arguing with him. He asked if I was free after work and I said I was, then he invited me to come over for dinner. Oh, and to bring my book with him, but that's all he said because we got to our duties so we could leave faster.
*Joey's P.O.V*
Oh my god this is so dull, I can't wait until dinner comes so I can see Purity again. I finish the last bit of dishes then signed out so I could get home to get ready for when Purity comes over... Shit, I forgot to ask my parents, hmmm oh right, I have a phone don't I? So I called my house and Jakob picked up. I asked if I could talk to mom but he didn't listen as usual and put dad on so I asked him. When he came on I was like, 'dad can I have a guest over for dinner please?' There was a silence for about two minuntes until he finally said 'yes'. I told him that I would pick my guest up then be home. It's a good thing I brought my backpack so I could change out of my work clothes and into something comfy for once.
At Purity's house (Purity's P.O.V)
Oh my god what am I gonna wear? I want to make a good impression with his family, in all damn this is hard. Oh well I will put on some nice jeans and my fave Green Fay shirt then apply some new make up and I will be good to go...
DING DONG!
"I got it!" I scream as I run down the stairs with my high heels on and almost fall on my face. When I open the door there Joey was, standing there with his bright green eyes shimmering in the sunlight. I blush then let him in. He laughs at what I'm wearing, then hands me my low rise converse then takes my shoes off. Man did I feel like Cinderella at this point in time. After I had my shoes on Joey and I started to walk out the door, then as we just shut the door he asked where my book was. I look at him in horror because I remembered I had left it on the table where Tre and Mark could find it. I ran back into the house and right before Tre grabbed it I snatched it out of his hands and ran back out the door to where Joey was. Joey laughed then took my hand and together we walked to his house where I would find the biggest surprise of my life.
