This Is How We Like To Do It In The Murder Scene!, chapter 5

"What?!"
"Gerard and Lis are having a kid!" Mikey exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Wait... Are you serious?!" When did you discover this?" I questioned.
"Gerard just told me... Don't really know the details of how far on she is, etcetera."
"Oh..." I was a little upset that Lis didn't tell me this herself. On the other hand, I was happy that two of my best friends were going to be conceiving a child. Although it seemed unlikely at this point that Gerard and Lis could cope with parenthood, what with them being so young, I was sure that they'd adjust to this change very well. I smiled and Mikey embraced me. Suddenly, I felt my legs grow weak. I struggled to remain in an upright position, before losing all conciousness...*

I felt Yas' body become flimsy and lifeless. She fainted unexpectedly and I grabbed her upright, carrying her into the living room and laying her down. I alerted her mom and she brought a glass of water over. I stroked her emaciated face delicately, encouraging her to wake up. Finally, she regained conciousness.*

"Wh-where am I...?" I asked weakly.
"Yas, you just completely passed out," Mikey informed me, his eyes filled with concern. "Here, drink this." He thrust a glass of water into my hands. My teeth clinked against the glass as I shivered. Mikey removed his jacket instantly and wrapped it around me. I managed a sligh weak, grateful smile. "How come you fainted? Was it 'cause of the news...?" Mikey grinned.
"Uh yeah, something like that..." But I knew this wasn't the correct reason. I had passed out because I hadn't eaten in four days, and had used any energy I had left on my body by crying my eyes out, and...slitting my wrists open. Depression had fatally made its mark on me recently, and I wasn't enjoying it one little bit. But I couldn't let this confession slip out of my mouth. It would remain a secret in my throat.*

"Look, I can't do this, I've TOLD you. My girlfriend's pregnant, and I'm not doing this to her, I aint sleeping around with criminals behind her back." Mr. Roberts laughed harshly. Oh how I hated that laugh, it went right through me.
"Oh joy, your girlfriend's up the duff. What do you want, paternity leave?" he sniggered sarcastically.
"Look...I'm not into this anymore. Get someone else. I quit."
"You can't just 'quit', boy. You were warned about what you were getting into when you started out," he said quietly.
"I'm sixteen man! Gimme some credit! Look, find someone else for the job, I'm out," I stated decisively.
"Gerard..." He paused and sighed heavily, sounding exasperated. "You were perfect for this. Hopefully you will come to your senses and join us once more when you grow out of your teenage years and into adulthood..."
"Yeah, maybe," I shrugged. "Goodbye Mr. Roberts."
"Goodbye Gerard..." And somehow, I could sense revenge hidden deep into his tone in that farewell... Or was it farewell?!*
