At The Library, chapter 5

‘Pip, come on, school starts in like just over an hour’, he told her, pushing her forward so that she would get up. She climbed down off then bunk and walked out to the hallway.
‘Come on, we have to go see if Billie’s any better’, she told him as the two of them walked to Billie’s room.

-Billie’s Room-

‘Billie, you awake’, Pip said as she pranced into his room. Billie pulled the covers over himself a little more.
‘Go away, I want to get up. Whoa Tim, what happened to your hair?’, he asked his brother. Tim stepped behind Pip and held her hand so that Billie wouldn’t see.
‘Isn’t it adorable?’, Pip asked Billie. He looked in shock for a moment before he replied.
‘Yeah..it um…suits you Tim’, he said before he got out of bed. Tim smiled but continued to stay behind Pip.
‘Aren’t you going to ask him why he’s up so early?’, Pip asked Billie. Billie looked at her for a moment, before actually realizing what time it was.
‘Yeah Tim, why are you up this early?’, he asked wanting an answer. It wasn’t like Tim to be up this early, usually he was still asleep till midday.
‘I’m kinda, ah like going to school again’, he mumbled. Billie’s eyes widened.
‘No way, my little brothers going back to school’, Billie said enthusiastically, ‘Geez that’s great’.
Tim started to get a little nervous and griped Pip’s hand tighter. She noticed and tried to relieve the tension that was happening between the two boys.
‘We should go and let you get ready. We’re leaving in about an hour’, she said, walking Tim out of the room with her.
‘Yeah sure, all I need is a few minutes’, Billie told them, closing the door so he could have his privacy.
On the way down the hall, they bumped into Tre.

‘Good Morning beautiful’, Tre told her, kissing her on the cheek. Pip went about different shades of red before she settled down again.
‘Morning Tre’, she replied, giving him a hug. He held her in close whispering things into her ear for a moment before he let her go.
‘Geez, Tim, your up early’, Tre said pointing out the obvious. Tim hung his head down and responded.
‘I’ll let you two talk alone’, Tim said shyly before he walked off back to his room. Pip explained to Tre about how Tim was going back to school again and then Tre explained how he was going to go in late today, because of a free period he had. He kissed her goodbye once again, and walked back into his room to catch up on sleep as Pip made her way to Tim’s room.

‘Tim have you seen my spare shirt?’, Pip asked, walking in to his bedroom. Tim was in the middle of getting dressed and it was quite obvious as he was standing in the middle of his room, with only his shirt and red boxers one.
‘Sorry, I didn’t realise’, Pip said apologising, as she went to step back out of his room but he stopped her.
‘No your fine’, he said, pulling his pants up and tightening his belt, ‘Here you kinda look my size, take this’; he said throwing her a small black shirt. Pip smiled and put in on right there in front of him.
‘Nice fit, were the only words he managed to mutter out. Pip smiled at him and the two went a little quiet as Billie came and interrupted them.
‘Come on guys, we’ve leaving’, he said, making them walk out behind him.

-On the Way to school-

‘Tim, I told you not to bring that god damn skateboard’, Billie screamed, as they walked on their way to school. Billie kept his arm around Pip, and she kept her arm around him, just incase something did happen.
‘Pip, look at me’, Tim yelled, doing a trick a few metres in-front of them. Pip giggled hysterically.
‘He is so childish’, Billie muttered, underneath his breath.
‘No he’s not, its cute’, Pip replied to what he had said. Billie looked at her and tried to get her to agree.
‘What? He’s like totally innocent’, she finished saying.
‘He is not innocent’, Billie said defensively. Pip looked up at him peculiarly.
‘He’s more innocent than you’ll ever be’, she told him, as they continued walking, before Tim’s board flipped out from underneath him causing him to fall.

‘Owe, man…’, Tim managed to get out, rubbing the back of his neck. Pip and Billie walked a little faster over to him, to make sure he was alright.
‘Tim, come on get up’, Billie said, lifting his brother up. Pip picked up his tie and collar that had fallen off and went to connect them back onto this shirt. She noticed a small faded scar.
‘When’d you get that?’, she asked him, rubbing the back of his neck. Tim grabbed his collar, tie and skate board and walked off.
‘Just, leave me alone’, he yelled back as he kept walking away from them. Pip and Billie looked at each other.
‘Is there something I’ve done?’, Pip asked…
