Welcome To The Green Day World Tour 2005!, chapter 3
As Tre and I walked down a little hallway, Tre asked me who my favourite Green Day person was.
"I can't tell you that," I said, shaking my head.
"Why not?" he questioned.
"Just... well, because," I answered.
"Come on. Tell tell tell."
"Fine. I always liked Billie Joe. But then I started liking you, Tre. But Mike is up there with you," I said.
"And what happened to Billie Joe?" said a voice as a long arm draped itself over my shoulder. It was Billie Joe himself.
"Well, I kinda figured out how dirty you were."
"Look at Tre, don't you see how dirty he is," replied Billie, in mock hurt.
"Yeah... well, I dunno, I just prefer Tre," I said.
"Oh well, each to their own," muttered Billie Joe.
"Ummm, Ash, can I talk to you in private?" asked Tre.
"Erm, sure."
Tre pulled me into a room just off the hallway and what was in there made my
mind go and 1000 miles an hour. Lauren, sitting on Mike's lap, pashing him.
"Oh well, that's what I brought you in here to do," said Tre.
He began to kiss me, and because my mind was running way too fast, I just kissed him back, unsure of what else to do. After about ten seconds, I pulled away. Then I ran out the door. Lauren pulled away from Mike and followed me into another small room, where I locked us in.
"What happened?" I asked Lauren, still in shock.
"Well, Mike pulled me into that room, and told me I was a real pretty kid. Then he said he knows that he's older than me and just started to kiss me. It was really weird, but cool. What did Tre say to you?"
"He pulled me into that room, saw you guys kissing, said to me, 'Oh well, that's what I brought you in here to do,' and just started kissing me," I replied.
There was a knock on the door. I answered it and there stood a sorry looking Mike and Tre, both cradling their left arms, probably having taken a hit each from Billie Joe.
"We're sorry," they said in unison. "We know that we are old enough to be your fathers," they continued, still in a well rehearsed chorus. "Will you forgive us?" they finished.
I thought for a moment, looked at Lauren, and we both burst out laughing.
"Of course... we do," I said in between shrieks of laughter at the boy's
properness.
All of a sudden I stopped laughing, while Lauren was still rolling around on the floor.
"What?" asked Mike.
"I only just realised that you guys ARE old enough to be our fathers, aren't you?"
"Yup," said Tre, "we were twenty-one when you were born, and twenty when Lauren was born."
"Oh well, that's still cool," I said, jumping onto Tre's back (in the piggyback position) and kicked his legs. "Giddyup horsy."
Tre ran to a room at the end of the hallway where Billie was sitting, strumming a guitar.
"So, are we all friends?" he said, as Lauren arrived on Mike's back.
"Yup," said Tre, Mike, Lauren and I together.
"We were friends anyway, until you hit Mike and Tre and made them feel bad about what happened," said Lauren.
"Sorry, I just found it weird," said Billie.
"Well, so did we," I said.
Just then, Jason. W, Jason. F and Ronnie walked into the room. Billie introduced us. Then Billie played that bit from Jesus Of Suburbia and they all sang along (You have probably all seen Bullet in a Bible, so I'm not gonna go on about it). Lauren and I joined in.
Now there was about forty five minutes until Green Day went on stage.
"I can't tell you that," I said, shaking my head.
